Barbershop fined $750 for refusing to cut woman's hair; owner says men want a 'little getaway'

A Pennsylvania barbershop has been fined $750 for refusing to cut a woman's hair.
Barbiere advertises itself as a high-end gentlemen's barbershop and offers complimentary beers and spirits. The Washington barbershop was recently fined by the state's Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs for gender discrimination.
Owner John Interval tells the (Washington) Observer-Reporter (http://bit.ly/1PZ8SOq ) the fine "infringes" on his shop's environment. Interval says, "Guys come here as a kind of a little getaway, to be around other guys."
The female customer had booked hair appointments online for herself and her boyfriend. She asked for a short haircut known as a wave but was turned away.
Interval says his staff recommended other shops and even offered to pay for a haircut at someplace else to compensate for the inconvenience.

How many barbers are there that can cut a style a woman's hair ?

FIRST OF ALL .. tell that Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs to shove their fine up their ass.

SECONDLY .. cut the woman's hair. Make sure she never comes back with a hair cut she will remember forever.

This is totally ridiculous and all of these laws are getting out of hand. If someone wants to do men only, then that is not discrimination. It is infringement of one's civil rights to have an outside party try to barge their way in. The lady might be the one who should be sued or fined. Someone I knew used to cut hair and one time a black man asked this person to cut his hair, and the person told this black man that they were not used to cutting that texture of hair and that the cut might turn out better by going to one of the black hairdressers in the shop. This was not discrimination, this was simply telling the truth. What would the man had said if his hair turned out all lumpy from an improper cut?

I would have just given her the haircut, knowing she would never come back for that "style" again...

"Hey lady, you said to cut your hair, so I did... looks fine to me" ... LOL.

Private businesses have the right to refuse whoever they want to refuse. I am tired of the P.C. Bull.

Shave her bald and go after the the corporate thug who put their name and authority on the paper work for the rogue fine.

Ever heard of the Prime law?
Article I: No person, group of persons or government shall initate force, or threat of force or fraud against any individual's self, property or contract.

Article II: Force is morally and legally justified only for protection from those who violate Article I

Article III: No exceptions shall exist for Article I and II

Just give her a really bad haircut and be done with it. The law is complied with, and no women will ever want to come there.
