28 House Republicans Willing to Shutdown Government over Planned Parenthood Funding
Where do you stand on federal funding of Planned Parenthood? Last year, the organization that murders more unborn babies than anyone else, received over $500 million of taxpayer funding. That’s right, your and my hard earned tax dollars being used to murder innocent children who are being deprived of their constitutional right to life.
There is now a movement taking place in the House of Representatives to defund Planned Parenthood. A group of 28 House Republicans have banded together to do whatever they can to stop the federal funding of Planned Parenthood.
Led by Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-SC), a letter is being circulated among House Republicans asking them to pledge to vote against any bill that provides funding for Planned Parenthood. The letter reads in part:
So far, 28 House Republicans have signed the pledge and have stated that they are willing to vote against any measure that includes funding for Planned Parenthood, even if it means a government shutdown.
The federal government fiscal year ends Sept. 30 and Congress much pass an appropriation bill before that date in order to keep the government up and running. (The United States of America Corporation is defunct - no longer in existence legally as a corporation; the corporation is BANKRUPT AND THE WORLD KNOWS IT; HOW is it that this defunct corporation can pass ANY bills to operate when it can't pay it's bills?? And when it has no legal corporation charter?)
The group’s stance is not setting well with GOP leaders in the House and Senate. They don’t want to see a government shutdown over Planned Parenthood funding because they know they will be portrayed at the bad guys and they can’t afford going into the 2016 elections.
However, the efforts among conservatives in both the House and Senate are growing and they expect to get more signatures before the end of the month.
2016 presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is also reported to be spearheading an effort in the Senate to hold up passing the federal budget bill if it contains any funding for Planned Parenthood.
Their chances don’t seem very good at this point with only 28 House members willing to take the pledge. Even if they do manage to get their way and pass the federal budget bill with no funding for Planned Parenthood, it’s 100% certain that Obama will veto it. That would result in a standoff that could shut down the federal government.
The liberal media and Democrats will automatically point the finger of blame on Republicans like they did during the Sequestration, even though the Sequestration was Obama’s idea.
We have less than 20 days left to find out what will happen.

"We must act to fully defund Planned Parenthood. Please know that we cannot and will not support any funding resolution – an appropriations bill, an omnibus package, a continuing resolution, or otherwise – that contains any funding for Planned Parenthood, including mandatory funding streams."When asked about the letter and effort to defund the baby killers, the lawmakers point to the series of videos that were released exposing the horrifying and unethical practices of Planned Parenthood including the removal of a baby’s brain while it was still alive so they could sell it.
