When I was I elementary school in the early 60's.I learned how to add,subtract and multiply
in my head faster than you can do it on the calculator.
This common core is absolute rubbish!
p.s. taught myself the times table to 12x12 in less than 30 minutes,
just looking at the relationship of the numbers to each other.
