Dumb ass, what do you think we have now, when it comes to digital made up money? The only difference is that, sometimes they print some of it, but it all comes out of thin air.

Alex sounds like is caught up in the collapse.
He mentioned fracking more like a friend than foe.

If you listen to Alex like he is caught in the collapse, you hear the real message.

Did he overspend, over extend himself, is he in debt.
Did he think he could get out of the market when he was ready?
Is he stuck with paper that is illiquid and there is no purchaser on the other side.

Everyone thought we'd have another MF Global.
No.
From now on, we'll have more Third Avenue.
Seriously, suppose it's that bad, that on paper or in digits the fund is said to be worth $700 million, but when priced to market it is really, really, not [worth anything].

Alex sounds like he's stuck in something financial.

MAYBE - and if so, with how many others who are 'stuck in something financial.' Would you like to be in that position? Are you jealous of Alex IF he is in that position - that he has those assets to be concerned about? What difference does it make? Would HIS situation affect YOU in some way? Is this all you have to do with your time - analyze what you THINK is going on in other's lives? Get real guy - let others take care of their business and you take care of your own.
