interview with Jake Briskman of Chicago WLUW-FM broadcast, called the Logic
Consortium, International Law Professor Francis Boyle who is a professor at the
University of Illinois College of Law, said, “I think we have to play jujitsu
with Obama. He wants Congress to vote for war on September 9. Instead of
playing his game, we should call for Congress to impeach him on September
9—immediately, which they can do. That will send a shot across his bow now.”[1]Boyle is the author of a new book, Tackling America’s Toughest Questions.
“Lies, disinformation and half-truths”, are how Professor of International Law Francis Boyle describes the Obama Administration handling of the use of Chemical Weapons in Syria. In a news release at the Institute for Public Accuracy, posted August 30, 2013, and titled, A “Dodgy Dossier” Instead of a Congressional Debate?, “The test the Dossier [PDF] uses is ‘high confidence’ — but the appropriate standard by the International Court of Justice (in the Corfu Channel case) is ‘beyond a reasonable doubt.’ The Dossier notes that it does not ‘confirm’ the allegations against Syria. So the U.S. intelligence community refuses to ‘confirm’ that the Syrian government did it.
Kerry claimed in his remarks: ‘We assess that the opposition has not used chemical weapons.’ But Carla del Ponte of the UN commission said they did. See: BBC: ‘UN’s Del Ponte says evidence Syria rebels “used sarin”‘ Similarly, Kerry claimed ‘We intercepted communications involving a senior official…’ But the Wall Street Journal already reported that came from Israeli intelligence.” [4][5][6][7]
Boyle, who is a professor at the University of Illinois, College of Law, was interviewed live on September 1 during a Chicago WLUW-FM broadcast called the Logic Consortium. For Pete's sake - HOW ON EARTH DO YOU IMPEACH THE PRESIDENT OF A PRIVATE CORPORATION? YOU CAN'T, ANY MORE THAN YOU CAN 'IMPEACH' THE PRESIDENT OF COCA COLA OR HALLIBURTON OR WELLS FARGO BANK. WAKE UP PEOPLE! CLINTON WAS 'IMPEACHED', AS WAS BUSH, AND DID YOU SEE ANY CHANGES FOR THE BETTER IN ANYTHING?? NO! AS A MATTER OF FACT, BUSINESS CONTINUED AS PER USUAL. BECAUSE AMERICANS ARE SO UNINFORMED AND DECEIVED ABOUT THE TRUTH OF THIS ROGUE CABAL 'GOVERNMENT,' THEY WILL BELIEVE ANYTHING. The House of Representatives must first pass, by a simple majority of those present and voting, articles of impeachment,...
Upon passage, the defendant has been "impeached".
Next, the Senate tries the accused.
To convict the accused, a two-thirds majority of the senators present is required.
Clinton Was Impeached in the House, but the Senate failed to have the 2/3 vote for conviction.
Conviction by the Senate does not bar criminal prosecution, nor does it implement criminal prosecution.
Now for Obama it is possible for the House to have only 10 Representatives present that vote yet only 6 vote Yes for impeachment or 6 for NOT.
And then in the Senate 20 senators are present yet only 14 vote Yes for conviction or 14 for NOT.
A personal acquaintance of mine was James Rogan, Congressman from California, and previous State Judge.
Because of James Rogan's background as a prosecutor and his reputation for respect among Republicans and Democrats, Rogan was selected to be one of the 13 House Managers in the historic impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton, in which the House won. This role gave Rogan worldwide recognition.
the grand stand dog and pony show, with all the fireworks and slogans and WHAT HAPPENED ????? CLINTON IS NOW SO ASHAMED OF HIMSELF???.
the common man who is not above the law would have been thrown in the worst jail for a whole lot less.
