Gotta Love Texas -The City of Dallas, Texas passed an ordinance stating that if a driver is pulled over by law enforcement and is not able to provide proof of Insurance, the car is towed.
To retrieve the car after being impounded, they must show proof of insurance to have the car released. This has made it easy for the City of Dallas to remove uninsured cars. Shortly after the "No Insurance" ordinance was passed, the Dallas impound lots began to fill up and were full after only nine days. Over 80 % of the impounded cars were driven by illegals.
Now, not only must they provide proof of insurance to have their car released, they have to pay for the cost of the tow, a $350 fine, and $20 for every day their car is kept in the lot.
Guess what? Accident rates have gone down 47% and... Dallas ' solution gets uninsured drivers off the road WITHOUT making them show proof of nationality.
I Wonder how the Justice Department will get around this one. Just brings tears to your eyes doesn't it?

well the corporation of Dallas can have its code enforcers do this to the employes only. we have free right to travel but driving for the corp is a privilege. so if you get pulled over never say you where driving anywhere you are traveling!showing your DL or insurance is you admitting you are driving for the corporation under there rules. we do not have public servant police. it is not there job to protect you! we now have code enforcers. they are there only to enforce corporate code violations. all city's towns states are now corporations!
If they had any balls they would make it for illegals only. And have the sheriffs arrest any agent that interfered with the process. If just one American national is bothered by the unconstitutional corp. rule regarding ins. the whole thing is bad.

It's an unconstitutional revenue generating scheme. The city of Dallas should not be making money on this. What, would have been more logical and lawful is to make the uninsured motorist responsible for the damages they create. I can't believe how stupidly people continue to give up their rights to city, state and federal corporations! Wake the hell up.

Well if it wasn't for the fact that we are required to insured "our" cars is not because they want to protect the population, it is because they owned the cars!!! and they want to make sure their property is insured, even if you get the title on the car is just a certificate not the real thing, they, like with everything else trade those titles and makemoney off it.(we are slaves, we can't own anything)now they are making more money off it, why can they do the right thing and deport EVERYBODY that is in this country illegaly? No One was given the right to establish borders or 'claim' land for themselves. We, and everyone, are privileged to live here and anywhere else, on Earth. The same goes for TAXES.
