[nutzo] ok, how many of you remember last year in the states (cant remember the city) when the chinese rnimbi went up in value, how many watched on tv of the thousands of chinese people in the states in all lined up at the banks to exchange at the new value, it was crazy!

If you divide it up its about 172 people per branch and
assuming around 40% will CE at their dealer of choice, you have at least 100
people per branch, across America cashing in, with a majority of them showing
up at WF trying to CE, most of which are not informed of the 1-800 # you can
see where it might cause a problem with security.
People are going to have millions of dollars worth of dinar in their hands sitting in the parking lots and expecting once they are there for Wells Fargo to be responsible if anything goes wrong. Should be easy to see why there are some issues that must be dealt with and security measures put in place for this to not turn into a legal nightmare for the banks and for us. Just a thought.
[DancesWithWolves] Just done a google search of "arrested Wells Fargo" - amazing the number of robberies theyve had not to mention peeps marching on the bankNot about the parking lot people themselves BUT the signalling to any bad guys what is going on. This becomes a very understandable hold up to an RV IMHO

somethings gotta give] Just my opinion, most of us can't get our kids or spouses to do as we ask, what in the world makes anyone think that we could control anyone that is so moved to sit in bank parking lots or camp out in them to stop doing it for the good of all?

[shatterstar] I was talking this over with family and friends last night. We know the banks have been trading with one another to raise capital for this c/e.. What if one or the armored trucks got robbed? There are legitimate security concerns on both ends.

[Lakerfan] Here goes. Yesterday I called my Canadian Bank where I set up accounts back in Jan. to transfer funds between accts. Once I finished I asked the CSR what’s the best way to deposit a large sum in each acct. Making a long story short, she said a bank draft from WF would be the best way.
[Lakerfan] . Then I asked her if there was a foreign currency dept in the branch where I opened my acct. She said let me check. Then she came back and said “Yes.” She asked me which currencies I was dealing with. I told her IQD and VND.
[Lakerfan] Once again she put me hold. When she came back, she said no problem Mr. ___ we will be happy to exchange those for you. Although we don’t carry the VND, we will be happy to exchange them into cash for you. We set an appt for next Friday. WooHoooooooooo
[Lakerfan] we didn't discuss rates because we are still waiting on the release. However, this confirms that the banks are ready, willing and able..

The Oracle: I got this from another website. It makes you think after you read this: "John would you please post this thought? We all know there are people who oppose this RV. We all know these people use agent provocateur tactics to disrupt anything they want to derail. Therefore it should cross the dinar community to know that the alleged bank parking lot campers may very well be PLANTS to make us all look bad. This I believe needs to be said and seriously considered in case it is true so we might derail their attempts to make us look bad."
[smiles] I think the GOOD news was WF deadline is Monday

Tony said that the people in the Parking Lots brought about attention to an issue of security, that had originally was believed in control - but actions by several show that there will be more security needed. He did not say that the few identified in 5 banks were the delay - They were the tip of the iceburg that showed up early and someone focused on the real size of the overall iceburg - and felt more control was necessary for security. Tony has given us a lot of information which I believe ...... but as I was on the call today and heard that Wells Fargo was the hold up for the Global Currency Reset, I thought “No Way” a bank in the US could hold up the GCR. And for people being parked in parking lots? But Tony said “and for other reasons also”, so as I thought about that and the fact that there were going to only be a hand full of banks that were going to be involved in the exchange of the dinar, but after they realized that there were 4,000,000 of us they opened this up to ALL BANKS. Now with WF being the lead bank in the US for Foreign Exchange and they were as of early last week were going to only be dealing with a few banks to now ALL banks, my thought was wow, that will take some adjustments at WF Foreign Exchange Headquarters in Reno. So maybe I’m way off but that does make sense why one bank could be the hold up.

Imagine a crowd of people (likely many from the same crowd that stampedes at a Wal-Mart sale) all in close proximity, KNOWING that each of them carries several "bearer bonds" worth around $300,000 each (25K IQD notes). I consider that a recipe for concern on behalf of the banks - the delay doesn't surprise me in the least.
DinarJim] With that said I have been trying to figure out what is going on with WF and the other banks regarding the RV. The security issues just does not seem to make a lot of sense. Then my daughter reminded me of somehting we heard months ago.
Once the RV occurs, which we know did occur Thursday night. The banks have three days to release the RV. During those three days they can cash out the Big Wigs before everyone else desends upon the banks.
Now the security issues make sense and that is why having people sitting in the banks parking lots is a big problem. The banks said they are as frustraited as the rest of us and do not see this happening over this weekend and are sending their people home wher they will remain on call.
What better way to try and keep the parking lot lurkers out of their way until the Big Wigs are handled. This is the only thing that makes sense. If this is correct we will see our turn Sunday or Monday. Just my thoughts.
