Adler didn't threaten Obama, By: NugaBurd
I'm sure to take heat from this, and I don't care.Read the article. Adler speculated that Netanyahu/the government of Israel, was considering three options, the third of which was to order Mossad agents, to assassinate Obama. Yes, Adler speculated:"You have got to believe, like I do, that all options are on the table." This is a freedom of the press issue. It is unpopular, outrageous and just plain rotten expressions that the First Amendment was written to protect.Adler did not advocate the assassination of Obama. He didn't advocate anything. There is nothing in the article, which is legally actionable.
Expressions of disgust and anger, are both understandable and justifiable. I, too, was incredulous when I read the article. However, calls for Adler to be tried for treason or sent to Guantanamo or whatever, have no legal merit.
Moreover, Adler might have done us a favor, by publicizing Israel's insistence that the United States be Israel's bitch. Sat, 21 Jan 2012 18:52 CST

UPDATE: Adler has told JTA that he "regrets" the column, and plans to publish an apology. Oh, and the Secret Service says it will "make all appropriate, investigative follow-up in regard to this matter," according to ABC News.
