Toomey-Schumer-Manchin Get It Wrong

Your Second Amendment rights are in jeopardy. That right, like all the others, is too important to sit idly by and allow porous liberal arguments to win the day on gun control legislation. Today, the Senate began debate on sweeping gun legislation. To defeat it, conservatives must get the facts and make sure their Senators know the bill is deeply flawed.

The Toomey-Schumer-Manchin gun bill infringes on our Second Amendment. Proponents claim this gun control bill is a good first step at keeping guns out of the hands of criminals. On the contrary, this bill would seriously altar the normal behaviors of law abiding citizens while failing to protect anyone from gun violence.

A bipartisan group of Senators are in a rush to whisk away our rights, so time is of the essence. Their misguided efforts will do nothing to reduce gun violence. They have not thought through the crushing implications of the Senate’s gun bill, but we have. It must be stopped in its tracks.
