The Supreme Court
Just Eliminated
The Fifth
Amendment.
Think the end of DOMA or the Voting Rights Act
will change the US?
The Supreme Court just handed down a decision that
rewrites the Constitution, claiming
we have no Fifth Amendment protection
unless we explicitly call for it.
Remaining silent
no longer protects you
from self-incrimination.
you
actually have to say, out loud,
"I'm invoking my right to remain
silent" —
even if no Miranda rights have
been read or arrests made.
This ruling implies
the Fifth Amendment is not a right but a
privilege,
and one for the well-educated and best-informed
at that.
We call on Congress to pass legislation overruling this as
much
as possible and requiring law enforcement to inform
both
witnesses and suspects of these maladjusted rights.
PETITION
TO CONGRESS: We are appalled by the recent SCOTUS
decision
to gut the Fifth Amendment. We call on our lawmakers to pass
legislation
to re-establish our right to remain silent and require law
enforcement
to spread word of this awful change in the meantime.
Thanks,

Didn't the Supreme Court just commit Treason? If not Treason then surely they are guilty of warring against the constitution, which maybe seen as Treason. Going to the Congress and getting those slugs to do anything close to what would be consider right and just is a pipe dream. Maybe we should do what the people of Colorado did and recall the entire lot.
GET A ROPE AND HANG THE BASTARDS....THEY ARE NAZI-COMMIE-SOCIALISTS AND NEED TO GO BACK TO HELL FROM WHERE THEY CAME..
I know many don't believe this, but being endowed by the Creator with certain inalienable rights, they can't be taken away by a court nor granted by the constitution.
The constitution states the obvious for those who Temet Nosce.
For those who want violence as a solution to every problem, they will not feel/fit well in the new paradigm where violence is not the solution to problems.
I know everyone hasn't evolved spiritually to 'know', but for those seeking, just try to 'remember'.
Yes, the document says you have the right, but who are they to grant it and after they died did what people say they granted die with them? If they granted it and their granting of it survived their death, then someone is executing their 'will'.
Would you want to live under someone else's will or your own will.
Their will be done, or your will be done?
Think. Remember. Temet Nosce.
Love.
