Smart Card (QI)
Smart card is an electronic card based on the concept of transferring real cash into electroniccash fixed on a sim card to facilitate cash exchange.
Smart card ( QI ) is similar to other credit cards recognized worldwide with essential difference that the smart card deals with balances without direct contact with the server which is called ( off line ) to facilitate business in regions of no good telecommunication networks . Besides , the card depends on fingerprint as a substitute of the Serial No. in processes of electronic cash transfer .
Our Bank pursued this modern technique in order to facilitate cashing pensions as a first stage . The retired employee can get his/ her pensions from any branch of Rasheed or Rafideen banks , noting that the smart card contains ( 255 ) banking or non- banking activities and one of them is cashing pensions .
Pursuing the fingerprint provides to bank and any party related to it . The possibility of getting clean data base unrepeatable through fingerprint matching in case of inability of referring to written data . http://rasheedbank.gov.iq/e-scard.htm
