Democrats Lose Bid to Pass Firearms Confiscation Bill

Democrats in the Illinois Senate have failed to gain
enough support for legislation that would have outlawed 50 percent of long guns
on the market in the state and would have confiscated weapons owned by
citizens.
On Wednesday, we reported that Illinois Senate President John Cullerton planned to introduce a draconian bill that would have effectively banned all modern firearms, criminalized their owners, and subjected their guns to confiscation by the Illinois State Police.
“Based on what we know
about Cullerton’s bill, firearms that would be banned include all semiautomatic
rifles, pistols, and shotguns,” the Illinois State Rifle Association reported.On Wednesday, we reported that Illinois Senate President John Cullerton planned to introduce a draconian bill that would have effectively banned all modern firearms, criminalized their owners, and subjected their guns to confiscation by the Illinois State Police.
“Pump action shotguns would be banned as well.
This would be a very comprehensive ban that would include not only so-called ‘assault weapons’ but also such classics as M1 Garands and 1911-based pistols.
There would be no exemptions and no grandfathering. You would have a very short window to turn in your guns to the State Police to avoid prosecution.”
In addition to outlawing a large number of firearms, the legislation would have targeted shooting ranges in the state.
Following the failure today, Democrats pledged to reintroduce legislation outlawing the Second Amendment.
“We will take some time to work on these important issues
to advance them in the near future,” Cullerton’s press secretary, Rikeesha Phelon, told reporters.

They weren't creative enough to ban guns, so now they are going to try to outlaw the 2nd amendment? What a great way to start the day - with riotous laughter at these buffoons. Hey my brothers and sisters in Illinois - you see that hand writing on the wall - the words "COMMIE TRAITORS"? Since they want to get rid of YOUR 2nd Amendment RIGHT to own firearms and to protect yourself and your loved ones, don't you think it is about time to GET RID OF THEM???? Forget about waiting for upcoming rigged 'elections'. Odds are VERY HIGH that they were put in to those positions over you by OUTRIGHT FRAUD anyway. Research the various means to dump these scum and start all over again with PROVEN LOYAL AMERICANS in their seats. Nothing wrong having a local garbage man, store owner, cab driver, physicians assistant, school teacher, Sunday school teacher or any other LOYAL AMERICAN in those seats. They KNOW what the issues are on the streets, and these can make informed decisions that the brain washed sicko commies are incapable of making. STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS AMERICANS - OR LOSE THEM. I wonder what the out come would be if someone introduced a bill to start hanging all present traitors and get rid of all politicians?
Maybe we can lobby the rope industry for support.

If this is true, it kind of puts the lie to the "The One People’s Public Trust" story about congress being "arrested" and forced to sign documents swearing to uphold the true Constitution, doesn't it?
