Our European arrogance in alphabetical order

This is a powerful story in history.  Only a few Americans are alive now who lived in those times.  I would guess that a lot of college students are not aware of these places, or how they happened.  Sad commentary.

Sacrifice for what? To make obscenely rich men richer? These lives were wasted and it was certainly not for our freedom..

While your point is true, remember that most likely 98% of Americans have no clue the true history of this nation, who runs it and why they do as they do. Therefore, those represented in this memorial joined and fought because they were fed lies, and they believed them. They had no reason at the time to NOT believe what their 'leaders' were telling them. You were in the same situation at one time, and someone came along and set you straight. Have mercy and pity for the family and friends of those represented here - they did what they believed was the 'right' thing to do based upon what they were told by trusted 'leaders.' They laid down their lives for those they knew and those they did not know. Today most Americans don't want to be bothered unless the threat is on their own doorstep. Best not to condemn these unless we have walked in their mocassins.

I do not condemn those who joined up and died-- or their families. That includes me and many of my own family. I condemn the liars who are responsible for all this misery. Unfortunately, those affected cannot escape the bitter truth much longer. These poor families will have to open their eyes and face the truth. Sad but true.

Then, according to your last comment at 5:55 PM, we are in agreement. We all have had to or will face the truth at some time. It IS time, and some times the truth hurts. That's when we each have to make a decision based on what we have learned. Thanks, Jann, for your comments and for visiting NESARA blogspot.

They only went there to make sure the Russians don't get the whole pie for the4mselves, remember ? ;) By the time Americans decided to show up in Europe, the Russians had already won most of the war against Hitler, and had 27 million dead, not 100 thousand ;)

To Alain, you may have gotten another lied for history on your time in school. The American forces came into Europe via Africa, Sicily and Italy before freeing France from the Nazis via Normandy et al. I heard nothing of the Russians going through those countries. I only read or heard the Russians staying in their sector and then surrounding Berlin to starve out the victims of Nazi control, the people of Berlin. The Nazis had already escaped, died or were captured. Americans and British freed the Scandinavian, Holland, Belgium people on their sweep into Berlin only to be kept out by Russia, an ally. If it were not for the American and British ace pilots bringing in plane after plane with food, medical and other materials needed to sustain the starving German survivors, the blockade of the Russians would have killed thousands of victims of the Nazi horrors. Check it out as the greatest flying feat ever done in flying history. Remember also, the Russians used open mass graves to murder officers and civilians enmasse. German soldiers captured and lived after the war were kept in detention until their deaths 10-15 years after the war. Of course, Eisenhower murdered 2 million surrendered soldiers by neglect, starvation and unhealthy/sanitary circumstances just down the road from the actual prisoner of war camps in German. Revenge is ugly on both sides. Study your history and you see the repetition of it throughout this world of creating "democratic" countries. Nothing has changed. Now it is time for us to NOT support the wars in other countries. It is time for us to stand up and say NO MORE. UNITED WE STAND is far stronger for all of us to really show our unity.

The question now is, how to move past the
distasteful imprint going into the future, that Obama
was literally hired 'to blow the place up'.

He has done just that, and very well.
We will always view these past eight years
in hindsight, very painfully.

Let us hope the backers will ultimately
be laid to rest, permanently.
