You had better take
five minutes to watch this video…AAA says this
new fuel, E-15, that is showing up at some gas stations will ruin your car’s
engine.
Please watch this
video as soon as possible. It could save you thousands of dollars if you
take heed. I warned some time ago that the EPA
was approving E-15 gas. Now it is appearing in service stations. If
your car is older than 2012, at least a dozen manufacturers have now warned
that it will void your warranty if you use it. So even if your
car has a warranty, you get to pay for the devastation out of your own pocket,
just like the rest of us.
Manufacturers
have verified my original contention a year ago that the
corrosiveness of the product on vehicle fuel systems will be
catastrophic.

This article is totally false! Any car manufactured after 1985 will tolerate ethanol with no issues at all.
Agreed! People get methanol and ethanol confused. Methanol was used in "Gasohol" in the mid to late 70's and THAT was very destructive to fuel systems. Methanol is wood alcohol. Ethanol on the other hand is grain alcohol mostly made from corn and wheat and is what we drink in alcoholic beverages. E-10 containing methanol has been the standard in the US for the past 30 years, another 5% with not cause any ill effects. As a matter of fact ethanol concentrations of up to 40% e.g. E-40 will cause no harm. See this website for further info. http://www.change2e85.com/servlet/Detail?no=167 I have personally been running E-85 in a 2010 Jeep and a 2012 Nissan without converters and they actually run better than on gasoline will NO ISSUES! These two vehicles are not rated as FLEX Fuel but still run great. So any flap about E-15 is unfounded.
