Dear General Dempsey,
I am but one person, however, I feel in my
heart that much like that one weed in the garden, there are a lot of others but
they just have not come into full view yet.
I served honorably in the active military
service and on several occasions I raised my right hand and swore an oath to my
country to protect it against all enemies “foreign and domestic”. While I see that you are “principal military
adviser to the President, the Secretary of Defense and the National Security
Council”. I believe that you are also directly
responsible to the people of this nation, to oversee with unyielding uncompromising
tenacity that our country is always governed lawfully. It is this last statement I wish to address
directly.
With your service to do your sworn duty for
“we the people” has been less than stellar as far as I can tell. I say this because of the way corporations,
politicians, lawyers and bankers have continued to go on with “business as
usual” without being called out on their inexcusable inappropriate actions and
you know exactly what I’m talking about.
I would even go on to say that your inaction is in direct conflict with
your sworn oath to the military, our country and “we the people”.
So having provided you a peek into your
performance as far as “we the people” and if it has made you feel
“uncomfortable” then there is still hope for us as a nation and as a
people.
Now what to do? Maybe inform “the President, the Secretary of
Defense and the National Security Council” of this growing situation that will
not go away.
Thank you for lending any ear and I hope
there is something positive that comes of this.
Respectfully,
T L Gilman

Do you not think the General is being threatened and is scared ?
He is an Obama appointee. You won't get anywhere with Dempsey; he's bought and paid for. Nice try though.
God bless us all and keep us safe in Jesus' name. Amen.
