In the wake of the Egyptian uprising and the arrests of hundreds in the Muslim Brotherhood underway, once again shadowy connections are starting to surface between U.S. tragedies perpetrated by Islamists.

The tragedy of Extortion 17 will not fade away because of the efforts of a very few brave men and women, Billy Vaughn, father of fallen Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn, and Major General Paul Vallely (US Army, Retired) among them: General Vallely because of his clear-cut military perspective and his background in Special Ops; Vaughn because he stands in the defense of American freedom from tyranny.

Hugo House Publishers, Ltd, is preparing to release a book about Extortion 17: BETRAYED: Exposing the High Cost of the War on Terror. The Shocking Sacrifice of America’s Special Ops Forces, co-authored by Billy Vaughn and General Vallely. The book goes beyond what was discussed in the press conference of May 9th, 2013 at the National Press Club. It exposes the political policies and failed ideology that precipitated the unconscionable tragedy of Extortion 17.

The book also raises awareness and presents details regarding the possible infiltration of the Taliban into the Afghan Government and sheds light on other security issues.  The book’s authors are now available to talk about the book and give a preview of the information it contains.

The official release of the book is 06 August, 2013, the 2nd anniversary of the shoot down of Extortion 17 that killed 30 American warriors. In interviews prior to the official release, the authors would like to announce the book for prepublication.

The book tells hard truths. The men on that Chinook helicopter were compromised by their leaders, the same individuals who are supposed to be leading this nation, the same leaders who have ordered our phones tapped through the NSA, who have used the IRS to stop the strong voices of dissent in our country, who just tried to put voting control in the executive branch of the federal government (a move that is fascist to its core).  This “leadership” has left not just our fighting men and women at risk, but our country, our homes, our families unprotected and unsafe.

The book is being offered for pre-publication sale starting on the 4th of July weekend to honor our founding fathers and the many brave men and women who continuously put their lives on the line to declare America’s freedom from tyranny. Billy Vaughn and General Vallely both join in and honor our defenders through this book "BETRAYED" to tell the truth about our government.
