Two top presidential contenders have recently put Israeli espionage front and center on the public stage.
Rand Paul began with making a big deal over how could any of his Congressional colleagues oppose a “Jewish State in the Holy Land,” a cheap pander to the Lobby. And then Hillary Clinton, fearing that he was getting ahead of her in the Zio polls, got her knee pads out and declared she was THE great friend of Israel.
Both disqualified themselves to be president on the grounds of being national security risks. And if you thing this is a big joke, keep reading. The political obstruction of justice for prosecuting Israeli espionage in the US is the longest successful spying operation in history. It is also high treason on steroids.
This monster is a two-headed “hydra,” because it not only involves the Israelis’ traditional spying tactics, but has penetrated into every American institution that could be co-opted into aiding and abetting their efforts. Those entities deemed to be a threat were targeted to be “neutralized”. The Justice Department and the FBI that is under its command are prime examples. But in fairness to them, they are under the executive command of White house.
The order to “stand down” on prosecuting Israeli espionage always originates from there, which creates the legal problem for prosecuting those “allowing it continue”. Prosecuting Israeli espionage on a large scale by exposing its long history with the huge numbers in our political, military, scientific, academic, military and law enforcement communities involved in assisting it, would be so devastating to American faith and trust in government that it would represent a national security threat to the country.
Under the imperial presidency power that we have involved into, we are in a situation where a president can order almost anything using the justification that it involves a critical national security concern. And this is a two-headed monster, also. Since it involves national security, the reasons can be effectively classified. This of course protects not only the White house but also Congress, which is overrun with Israeli espionage. On Capitol Hill they are almost tripping over each other to sell out our country for more campaign money that a competitor might get.
This “national security cover” abuse also gives legal cover for all the downstream law enforcement and counterintelligence people for aiding and abetting by covering up what is going on. This outrage has been going on for decades, and is accepted by both the Democratic and Republican parties.
Publicly opposing Israeli espionage in America is a political death sentence, and thus any sane person is excused from having any personal responsibility to unfairly sacrifice their career for something they did not create. The most humiliating part of all is how their oaths of office never seem to figure into the equation for doing anything about it. That is also a public disgrace.
The independent Intelligence community, the most loyal of all the rest, has for years now been giving high level briefings to former senior officials and some current ones whom they knew were not actively supporting Israeli espionage efforts. They wanted to present a plan where all of these operations could be rolled up as the classified intelligence files hold everything needed to send huge numbers to prison.
There is one bright spot in this sad story. Because it is so widely known that there is a stand down on prosecuting this scourge, especially with top officials as the target as it could spin out of hand, they have not been very careful about covering their tracks. While our counter-intelligence people were blocked from prosecutions, they have been tasked with “blocking” it as much as possible, which involves staying on top of what they are stealing and compromising.
Much of what is in the Intel files has been collected during multi-year investigations of chasing Israeli spies around including lots of phone taps. And guess who kept popping up all the time? I think you have guessed… bus loads of Congressmen of all persuasions and also other high government officials wanting to polish their resumes for landing the nice “cozy” think tank and multi-national corporation positions that they have watched so many others get over the years.
And here is where it starts getting a bit complicated. What the NSA has picked up over many years overseas while chasing targets there, they have a substantial library of intercepts of the same Congressional traitors and other traveling officials who feel very safe outside US jurisdiction, and who flap their jaws a bit too unguardedly.
What they have been caught doing… being useful to the Israelis is just the tip of the iceberg. These people have been found engaging in almost every organized crime endeavor, but primarily the big money generators like drugs, and those for pleasure like white slavery and pedophilia rings. And I don’t just mean as customers, but getting into the business end of it.
The NSA had to profile and track all of these people as security risks, as these activities made them vulnerable to blackmail which they could pay by transferring classified information, and they have. But this information collected overseas, could not be shared with the FBI, and hence never used in the prosecution of these people.
I will give you two examples. One is when Congressmen are taking overseas trips during recess, junkets they are called, where they can let off some steam doing things they would hesitate to do stateside. These are very popular for that reason. We know of a very high profile, household name Congressman who used his immunity privilege of not being searched coming home from “the Afghanistan, Iraq theaters, sometimes via Dubai.”
Stopping off in Europe is a popular destination, especially for those carry very large-denomination bearer bonds for major drug dealers, where they do not want any wiring traceable record. The fee for “helping out” by being a courier is quite generous. And now, under our own Supreme Court ruling, such fees can be paid directing into the person’s campaign via foreign corporations. Democracy took a bullet to the head on that one. Thanks for nothing… Supreme Court… eternal shame on you.
Example two, a famous one… is a group of political Americans (often husbands and family members are involved here), decided to set up a chain of dry cleaning stores in Afghanistan, and therefore would be able to import the necessary chemicals to run such an operation. It may be just a coincidence that these same chemicals are used to process opium into heroin, reducing the volume for being flown out on War on Terror contractor planes… and then the proceeds being split up into a variety of hands, including politicians not only in the US but also all over Europe. They have their own club so to speak… political gangsters.
Of course the chain of dry cleaning stores does not exist in Afghanistan, I think just a few in Kabul maybe. The average Afghan uses a dry cleaning method that involves hanging one’s clothes out in the sun, which rural farm people everywhere have been doing with their bedding and clothes for generations. This story went around the Intel community as kind of a joke, because it was so amateurish.
But the FBI has its own versions of these stories. I could fill a small motel with retired agents who left in disgust after building Israeli espionage cases and then having them closed out just prior to going to the grand jury, with the demand that all notes and tapes be turned in. They made copies of course. The smart ones do. And those copies are waiting to be released.
So you might want to ask me “why I am making a big deal about this now, when this has been generally known for a long time”… a good question. And my answer is that there has never been a big Intel dump on this before, because the public has never shown any real interest in this horrible situation. Most don’t know how bad it really is, and those who do, many are apathetic that nothing can be done about it.
I am writing this now to send a message that if the public demonstrates that it wants to stop this, because they are the ultimate victims, the people who have these records will release them, as a group… for safety reasons. What needs to be done is have Israeli spying AND mass treason by many of the top echelons of Americans be made a major campaign issue, along with AIPAC and the other usual suspects. We have the best opportunity to do this now, that anyone had seen so far.
We have been told that for now there is no judicial forum that would take the lead on such a devastating group of prosecutions. One will have to be created and also be fire-walled from the same government agencies that would stand to have their reputations seriously tarnished.
This will be very difficult to do, but it can be done if people want. And if they don’t, then we will continue to get used and abused like we have been. We either counterattack the traitors and take them on publicly during the coming campaign season, or we get new knee pads, and some for our kids, too, as they will have no chance at all if we don’t fix this.
