November Update



Another month comes and goes, and the dinar world is again listening to the proverbial chirping of crickets.  It appears that the post-Ramadan period produced nothing encouraging for the dinar hopeful, and yet the hopium is still being consumed in mass quantities.

In reviewing the events of October I really couldn't find much of interest to write about, except for a few things.  First, a certain guru pretty much outed himself in a conference call.  The other day on a whim I decided to listen to a call by a guy called Loechin who has been making the rounds recently. To my amazement he offered his true name and even gave out the URL of his website. His name is Charles Walters and he's an itinerant evangelist.

He also mentioned the donate button on his website after talking about the orphanages he works with in places like Bolivia.

During this call he cited TonyTNT as somebody credible, told us that the current rate showing for the IQN (apparently we're not supposed to call it the IQD now) is $25.99 and the VND is around $2. He also insisted that he has negotiated the highest cash in rate with Wells Fargo over the past two years.

For the life of me I can't understand why an established minister of the gospel would jeopardize his credibility and ultimately his ministry on a scam like the revaluation of the Iraqi dinar. It's one thing to hope that the dinar will provide you with some substantial increase, but to say as he did July 17:

"It's been a very exciting day. At 2:15 this afternoon, the United Nations officially announced the revaluation of the Iraqi dinar. At this moment, we are simply awaiting a call to go to the bank. All has been done and all has been completed. From what we are hearing, we could be at the bank as early as tomorrow and as late as Monday." 

and this on October 3:

"WOW all the info coming in today has been amazing. Read Eagle1, Tony, and Bluwolf, and you will get most of the info. As of this very moment the rates are still in the $25 plus change, and I think we will see the VNN at $3 plus. Seems like the closer we get someone wants to push the date back well not this time. It can and I believe will go any moment. It's no longer going to be banks closed or open, Tues-Thur stuff. This is off the table now and we are waiting for any second." 

I have to admit I'm stumped. Does he really believe this? And if not, why say these things? I don't see any dinar dealer banners or VIP memberships on his sites. The only thing I can figure is he's fishing for donations, but I have to ask "is it really worth it?" When Iraq does eventually get around to redenominating he's going to have a lot to answer for. In that he's hardly alone, but unlike most gurus he has put his name out there and left his dangling backside completely exposed. When the faithful realize that the CBI's plan was always a lop and that there was never a chance of anybody getting rich from buying dinar they're going to be extremely wroth. For his sake I hope he's got a parsonage ready in Bolivia.



Next, many of you will recall a recent post I did about the rumour sites Dinar Recaps and Dinar Guru which feed content from other sites into their sites to draw hits and generate ad revenues.  Well it appears that Breitling took notice and started a similar site of his own less than a week after I posted that and is now encouraging his followers to check it out.  And so it goes .......

Third, for the past two years I have presented an award to the Dinar Douchebag of the year.  The first year Dan "Checkmate" Atkinson was the winner.  In 2012 the award was shared by James "Adam Montana" Wolf and Tony "Breitling" Elder.  Well this year wasn't even close so I'm going to award it 2 months early.  TNT Tony ran off and left the pack in his dust with nonsense about a $20+ rate, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), the Global Currency Reset (GCR), early cash-ins, and Wells Fargo handling the currency exchange (CE) via a 1-800 number despite their insistence that they have no intention of handling the IQD.  All of this was in addition to his weekly intel from high up sources about today or tomorrow being the day for the RV.

Apparently Tony's douchebaggery was even too much for the 2011 winner Dan from PTR, because he cut Tony loose back in the summer.  Now Tony is free to fly solo and pursue the heights of absurdity with his thrice weekly RV updates.  Congrats to TNT for proving that all you need to get ahead in life is a little determination, hard work, creativity, and personality.  Unless of course you're a pathological liar and scammer. 

And finally, out of curiosity I decided to listen to a few broadcasts from this new audio guru who goes by the name Magellan.  If you've been thinking about checking this guy out .... don't bother.  It was pure torture.  First of all the intro to his Blogtalk show is over two minutes long, with a sickening epic film-score musical theme and a dramatic voiceover.  If you can make it through that without puking you then will hear him throw it into marketing gear.  During the shows he made a pitch for Dinar Inc., his iTunes broadcasts, his Facebook and his Twitter pages, and asked people to email him their prayer requests.  Now of course he could have just told people to call him with their prayer requests and he would pray for them, but if he did that he wouldn't get any email addresses to market himself with, now would he? 

The content of the broadcast was filled with the same old recycled pumper BS - the mythical Kuwaiti RV, Iraq can't be a great country with a suppressed currency, oil backs the dinar, Iraq will be the next Dubai, Bush and Cheney set the RV up, Obama is willing to meet with Maliki because he knows about the RV ..... blah blah blah ....  He also claimed that Iraq is constructing the world's tallest building in Basra, although I couldn't find anything more than a conceptual rendering of what would be the tallest building in Iraq.  Wikipedia has an article on tallest buildings and there's no mention of any building in Iraq.  This is actually quite typical of pumpers, making claims that can't be verified by any factual information.  But who cares about facts anyway?  After all, this is the dinar we're talking about.

The following listings will be updated regularly as new research reveals new information. 1. ALL 50 STATES The NSA, which long promised it was only spying on people in other countries, then only on “terrorists,” has been revealed to be funneling data and other information captured without a warrant (as required by the 4th Amendment) to local law enforcement via a previously-secret organization called Special Operations Division (SOD). The 4th Amendment Protection Act would ban your state from accepting this kind of warrantless information in its criminal investigations. (take action here) 2. 42 STATES The NSA has established deep partnerships with over 160 universities around the country. These partnerships not only provide a massive recruiting ground for future NSA spies, it is a major source of research and testing – all expanding the NSAs warrantless data-collection capabilities. (take action here) 3. Ft. Meade, Maryland In 2006, it was reported that the NSA had maxed out capacity of the Baltimore-area power grid via Baltimore Gas and Electric. Insiders reported that “The NSA is already unable to install some costly and sophisticated new equipment. At minimum, the problem could produce disruptions leading to outages and power surges. At worst, it could force a virtual shutdown of the agency.” The cost of electricity at Fort Meade, provided by Baltimore Gas and Electric, was probably one of NSA’s single biggest expenses, said Matthew Aid, author of The Secret Sentry: The Untold History of the National Security Agency (Bloomsbury Press, 2009). He estimated the agency could end up spending 95 percent less on electricity in Utah than in Maryland. 4. Bluffdale, Utah The new “Data Center” is a massive complex. It requires 1.7 million gallons of water per day to operate. That water is provided by a political subdivision of the state of Utah. The electricity is provided by Rocky Mountain Power. Snow removal is by another contractor. 5. San Antonio, Texas The Texas Cryptologic Center is being built on a former Sony warehouse, just down the road from a new Microsoft data center. The NSA waited to confirm Microsoft’s opening there before leasing the property from Corporate Office Properties Trust. A major part of the decision for the location was also the independent power grid in Texas, again confirming NSA’s very real concern about access to power. Augusta, Georgia The Threat Operations Center has its water and sewage handled by the city of Augusta. Before a partnership in 2006 with Georgia Power, outages were a regular occurrence on post, particularly during the summer, when heavy demands were placed on the system. 7. Yakima, Washington The “listening post” is scheduled to be closed and moved to Colorado. No date “in the future” has been confirmed. 8. Aurora, Colorado Intelligence collected from the geostationary satellites, as well as signals from other spacecraft and overseas listening posts, is relayed to this facility outside Denver. About 850 NSA employees track the satellites, transmit target information, and download the intelligence haul. 9. Oak Ridge, Tennessee Some 300 scientists and computer engineers with top security clearance toil away here, building the world’s fastest supercomputers and working on cryptanalytic applications and other secret projects. A new facility is being developed on the East Campus of Oak Ridge. Called the Multiprogram Computational Data Center, the buildings will be low and wide like giant warehouses, a design necessary for the dozens of computer cabinets that will compose an exaflop-scale machine, possibly arranged in a cluster to minimize the distance between circuits. According to a presentation delivered to DOE employees in 2009, it will be an “unassuming facility with limited view from roads,” in keeping with the NSA’s desire for secrecy. And it will have an extraordinary appetite for electricity, eventually using about 200 megawatts, enough to power 200,000 homes. The computer will also produce a gargantuan amount of heat, requiring 60,000 tons of cooling equipment, the same amount that was needed to serve both of the World Trade Center towers. 10. Oahu, Hawaii Focuses on intercepts from Asia. Built to house an aircraft assembly plant during World War II, the 250,000-square-foot bunker is nicknamed the Hole. Like the other NSA operations centers, it has since been expanded: Its 2,700 employees now do their work aboveground from a new 234,000-square-foot facility. 11. Ok I waited for a while before I can into the forum to post anything. In my years of being invested I have never had more confirmations of this thing going like I did today. Even down to local banks being given the all go signal today this morning. In Iraq right now the IQN has made the people very happy because of what has taken place in country. I verified all the intel I was given this morning at least five times from people in the US and abroad and it was the exact same info that today the RV was scheduled to go. If people think that this is going to go off for the US with idiots acting crazy like the verified accounts Tony has told us today then think again. Is the RV stopped no but did the stupid actions of some crazed dinar people scare the crap out of some of the banks yep you better believe it..... Where are we now well I for once in my life I don't have an answer but I can assure you we are going to find one.... People please follow the rules......

He's the first who thinks the way to more power is to inflict pain on ordinary people.
The move to barricade the World War II memorial reveals the mentality of a tin-pot dictator. The limited government shutdown did not need to affect the memorial because it is open 24 hours, without gates and often without guards.
But to turn public opinion in his favor, Obama's goons trucked in barricades to keep out World War II vets and other visitors. By one estimate, the barricades and workers cost $100,000.
The same punish-the-people attitude led to shutdowns of other parks and historic sites that get no federal funding.
"We've been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It's disgusting," a Park Service ranger told The Washington Times.
The ranger cited the order to close the parking lot at George Washington's home in Mount Vernon so visitors couldn't use it. The cheap trick captured the contrast between a revered president and the current one.
I've been saying for a while that there is no bottom to Obama. He's not just ruthless. He's without scruples and honor.
Now the shutdown has ended, it will bring only a temporary respite from the crisis atmosphere in Washington. When it comes to his countrymen, Obama always chooses conflict over cooperation.

Here is what I found out about Tony. This is directly from the court docket.

The criminal charge was filed 4-18-2012. His name is Anthony Renfrow. There is another co-defendant, William Fox.

Tony is represented by the Office of the Public Defender. That means he has no money to pay an attorney. The co-defendant, William Fox, hired his own private attorney.

Tony has been charged with the following: The first count is: "Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud and Engaging in Monetary Transactions of More Than $10,000 in Criminally Derived Property." This first count also seeks "forfeiture", which means that Tony used some of the funds he stole to buy something, and the USA is wanting that asset(s) to be forfeited, or surrendered to the USA.

The second count is "Wire Fraud", and also seeks forfeiture of asset(s).

Tony was arrested on May 30, 2012, but was later released pending the outcome of the criminal charges.

Tony also filed an "Financial Affidavit" with the Federal Court on May 30, 2012. The purpose of that Financial Affidavit was to prove that he (Tony) is BROKE and has no money to pay for an attorney, which resulted in the Court appointing the Public Defender to represent Tony.

There have been a multitude of various motions filed with the court from May 2012 to now, most of which have just delayed the trial.

The last entry on the court docket is dated 10-3-2013, which is an Order of the Court granting Tony's motion to delay the filing of PreTrial Motions in the case untilJanuary 27, 2014. I doubt that the trial will take place any sooner than sometime next spring.

A strategy Tony might be doing is to try to keep postponing the trial until the RV, which would give him money that he swindles out of people who have dinars, (by convincing them to turn their dinars over to him under the lie of getting $27 plus per dinar, etc), and then he would have money where he could try to "settle" with the USA by making restitution to the victims he stole money from that resulted in the criminal charges being filed in the first instance. By his making restitution, he could go a long ways in mitigating the damages, resulting in his possibly getting a lighter sentence.... this came from underneath the tnt call today written by Fennis Demboby
