Niall Ferguson on Why Barack Obama Needs to Go

Niall Ferguson on Why Barack Obama Needs to Go

By Niall Ferguson / August 19 2012 1:00 AM
I was a good loser four years ago. “In the grand scheme of history,” I wrote the day after Barack Obama’s election as president, “four decades is not an especially long time. Yet in that brief period America has gone from the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. to the apotheosis of Barack Obama. You would not be human if you failed to acknowledge this as a cause for great rejoicing.”
Despite having been—full disclosure—an adviser to John McCain, I acknowledged his opponent’s remarkable qualities: his soaring oratory, his cool, hard-to-ruffle temperament, and his near faultless campaign organization.
Yet the question confronting the country nearly four years later is not who was the better candidate four years ago. It is whether the winner has delivered on his promises, and the sad truth is that he has not.
In his inaugural address, Obama promised “not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth.” He promised to “build the roads and bridges, the electric grids, and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together.” He promised to “restore science to its rightful place and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost.” And he promised to “transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age.” Unfortunately the president’s scorecard on every single one of those bold pledges is pitiful.
In an unguarded moment earlier this year, the president commented that the private sector of the economy was “doing fine.” Certainly, the stock market is well up (by 74 percent) relative to the close on Inauguration Day 2009. (NOTE:  the stock market is manipulated - it does NOT reflect the TRUE conditions of this nation's economy) But the total number of private-sector jobs is still 4.3 million below the January 2008 peak. Meanwhile, since 2008, a staggering 3.6 million Americans have been added to Social Security’s disability insurance program. This is one of many ways unemployment is being concealed.
In his fiscal year 2010 budget—the first he presented—the president envisaged growth of 3.2 percent in 2010, 4.0 percent in 2011, 4.6 percent in 2012. The actual numbers were 2.4 percent in 2010 and 1.8 percent in 2011; few forecasters now expect it to be much above 2.3 percent this year.
Unemployment was supposed to be 6 percent by now. It has averaged 8.2 percent this year so far. (NOTE:  These figures, again, are manipulated numbers and do NOT reflect the TRUE condition of the severe unemployment numbers.)  Meanwhile real median annual household income has dropped more than 5 percent since June 2009. Nearly 110 million individuals received a welfare benefit in 2011, mostly Medicaid and/or food stamps.
Welcome to Obama’s America: nearly half the population is not represented on a taxable return—almost exactly the same proportion that lives in a household where at least one member receives some type of government benefit. We are becoming the 50–50 nation—half of us paying the taxes, the other half receiving the benefits.  (NOTE: You cannot live on poverty hourly minimum wages and below the table wages paid by the 'newly created' jobs - most ALL are for jobs such as fast food cooks, counter help, landscape and domestic help, etc. The REAL jobs - classified as 'middle income' and above - have been and continue to be eliminated in America, most by companies like Halliburton, General Electric, General Motors, Boeing and other companies closing American plants and building brand new ones in foreign countries, namely China, using stolen funds from Americans via the 'stimulas packages' issued by the Obama regime.)

And all this despite a far bigger hike in the federal debt than we were promised. According to the 2010 budget, the debt in public hands was supposed to fall in relation to GDP from 67 percent in 2010 to less than 66 percent this year. If only. By the end of this year, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), it will reach 70 percent of GDP. These figures significantly understate the debt problem, however. The ratio that matters is debt to revenue. That number has leapt upward from 165 percent in 2008 to 262 percent this year, according to figures from the International Monetary Fund. Among developed economies, only Ireland and Spain have seen a bigger deterioration.
Not only did the initial fiscal stimulus fade after the sugar rush of 2009, but the president has done absolutely nothing to close the long-term gap between spending and revenue.
His much-vaunted health-care reform will not prevent spending on health programs growing from more than 5 percent of GDP today to almost 10 percent in 2037. Add the projected increase in the costs of Social Security and you are looking at a total bill of 16 percent of GDP 25 years from now. That is only slightly less than the average cost of all federal programs and activities, apart from net interest payments, over the past 40 years. Under this president’s policies, the debt is on course to approach 200 percent of GDP in 2037—a mountain of debt that is bound to reduce growth even further.

And even that figure understates the real debt burden. The most recent estimate for the difference between the net present value of federal government liabilities and the net present value of future federal revenues—what economist Larry Kotlikoff calls the true “fiscal gap”—is $222 trillion.
The president’s supporters will, of course, say that the poor performance of the economy can’t be blamed on him. They would rather finger his predecessor, or the economists he picked to advise him, or Wall Street, or Europe—anyone but the man in the White House.
There’s some truth in this. It was pretty hard to foresee what was going to happen to the economy in the years after 2008. Yet surely we can legitimately blame the president for the political mistakes of the past four years. After all, it’s the president’s job to run the executive branch effectively—to lead the nation. And here is where his failure has been greatest.
Jobs Graphic
On paper it looked like an economics dream team: Larry Summers, Christina Romer, and Austan Goolsbee, not to mention Peter Orszag, Tim Geithner, and Paul Volcker. The inside story, however, is that the president was wholly unable to manage the mighty brains—and egos—he had assembled to advise him.
According to Ron Suskind’s book Confidence Men, Summers told Orszag over dinner in May 2009: “You know, Peter, we’re really home alone ... I mean it. We’re home alone. There’s no adult in charge. Clinton would never have made these mistakes [of indecisiveness on key economic issues].” On issue after issue, according to Suskind, Summers overruled the president. “You can’t just march in and make that argument and then have him make a decision,” Summers told Orszag, “because he doesn’t know what he’s deciding.” (I have heard similar things said off the record by key participants in the president’s interminable “seminar” on Afghanistan policy.)
This problem extended beyond the White House. After the imperial presidency of the Bush era, there was something more like parliamentary government in the first two years of Obama’s administration. The president proposed; Congress disposed. It was Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts who wrote the stimulus bill and made sure it was stuffed full of political pork. And it was the Democrats in Congress—led by Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank—who devised the 2,319-page Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank, for short), a near-perfect example of excessive complexity in regulation. The act requires that regulators create 243 rules, conduct 67 studies, and issue 22 periodic reports. It eliminates one regulator and creates two new ones.
It is five years since the financial crisis began, but the central problems—excessive financial concentration and excessive financial leverage—have not been addressed.
Today a mere 10 too-big-to-fail financial institutions are responsible for three quarters of total financial assets under management in the United States. Yet the country’s largest banks are at least $50 billion short of meeting new capital requirements under the new “Basel III” accords governing bank capital adequacy.

And then there was health care. No one seriously doubts that the U.S. system needed to be reformed. But the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010 did nothing to address the core defects of the system: the long-run explosion of Medicare costs as the baby boomers retire, the “fee for service” model that drives health-care inflation, the link from employment to insurance that explains why so many Americans lack coverage, and the excessive costs of the liability insurance that our doctors need to protect them from our lawyers.
Ironically, the core Obamacare concept of the “individual mandate” (requiring all Americans to buy insurance or face a fine) was something the president himself had opposed when vying with Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. A much more accurate term would be “Pelosicare,” since it was she who really forced the bill through Congress.
Pelosicare was not only a political disaster. Polls consistently showed that only a minority of the public liked the ACA, and it was the main reason why Republicans regained control of the House in 2010. It was also another fiscal snafu. The president pledged that health-care reform would not add a cent to the deficit. But the CBO and the Joint Committee on Taxation now estimate that the insurance-coverage provisions of the ACA will have a net cost of close to $1.2 trillion over the 2012–22 period.
The president just kept ducking the fiscal issue. Having set up a bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, headed by retired Wyoming Republican senator Alan Simpson and former Clinton chief of staff Erskine Bowles, Obama effectively sidelined its recommendations of approximately $3 trillion in cuts and $1 trillion in added revenues over the coming decade. As a result there was no “grand bargain” with the House Republicans—which means that, barring some miracle, the country will hit a fiscal cliff on Jan. 1 as the Bush tax cuts expire and the first of $1.2 trillion of automatic, across-the-board spending cuts are imposed. The CBO estimates the net effect could be a 4 percent reduction in output.
The failures of leadership on economic and fiscal policy over the past four years have had geopolitical consequences. The World Bank expects the U.S. to grow by just 2 percent in 2012. China will grow four times faster than that; India three times faster. By 2017, the International Monetary Fund predicts, the GDP of China will overtake that of the United States.
GDP Graphic
Meanwhile, the fiscal train wreck has already initiated a process of steep cuts in the defense budget, at a time when it is very far from clear that the world has become a safer place—least of all in the Middle East.
For me the president’s greatest failure has been not to think through the implications of these challenges to American power. Far from developing a coherent strategy, he believed—perhaps encouraged by the premature award of the Nobel Peace Prize—that all he needed to do was to make touchy-feely speeches around the world explaining to foreigners that he was not George W. Bush.
In Tokyo in November 2009, the president gave his boilerplate hug-a-foreigner speech: “In an interconnected world, power does not need to be a zero-sum game, and nations need not fear the success of another ... The United States does not seek to contain China ... On the contrary, the rise of a strong, prosperous China can be a source of strength for the community of nations.” Yet by fall 2011, this approach had been jettisoned in favor of a “pivot” back to the Pacific, including risible deployments of troops to Australia and Singapore. From the vantage point of Beijing, neither approach had credibility.
His Cairo speech of June 4, 2009, was an especially clumsy bid to ingratiate himself on what proved to be the eve of a regional revolution. “I’m also proud to carry with me,” he told Egyptians, “a greeting of peace from Muslim communities in my country: Assalamu alaikum ... I’ve come here ... to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based ... upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition.”
Charles Ommanney for Newsweek
Believing it was his role to repudiate neoconservatism, Obama completely missed the revolutionary wave of Middle Eastern democracy—precisely the wave the neocons had hoped to trigger with the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in Iraq. When revolution broke out—first in Iran, then in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Syria—the president faced stark alternatives. He could try to catch the wave by lending his support to the youthful revolutionaries and trying to ride it in a direction advantageous to American interests. Or he could do nothing and let the forces of reaction prevail.
In the case of Iran he did nothing, and the thugs of the Islamic Republic ruthlessly crushed the demonstrations. Ditto Syria. In Libya he was cajoled into intervening. In Egypt he tried to have it both ways, exhorting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave, then drawing back and recommending an “orderly transition.” The result was a foreign-policy debacle. Not only were Egypt’s elites appalled by what seemed to them a betrayal, but the victors—the Muslim Brotherhood—had nothing to be grateful for. America’s closest Middle Eastern allies—Israel and the Saudis—looked on in amazement.
“This is what happens when you get caught by surprise,” an anonymous American official told The New York Times in February 2011. “We’ve had endless strategy sessions for the past two years on Mideast peace, on containing Iran. And how many of them factored in the possibility that Egypt moves from stability to turmoil? None.”
Remarkably the president polls relatively strongly on national security. Yet the public mistakes his administration’s astonishingly uninhibited use of political assassination for a coherent strategy. According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in London, the civilian proportion of drone casualties was 16 percent last year. Ask yourself how the liberal media would have behaved if George W. Bush had used drones this way. Yet somehow it is only ever Republican secretaries of state who are accused of committing “war crimes.”
The real crime is that the assassination program destroys potentially crucial intelligence (as well as antagonizing locals) every time a drone strikes. It symbolizes the administration’s decision to abandon counterinsurgency in favor of a narrow counterterrorism. What that means in practice is the abandonment not only of Iraq but soon of Afghanistan too. Understandably, the men and women who have served there wonder what exactly their sacrifice was for, if any notion that we are nation building has been quietly dumped. Only when both countries sink back into civil war will we realize the real price of Obama’s foreign policy.
America under this president is a superpower in retreat, if not retirement. Small wonder 46 percent of Americans—and 63 percent of Chinese—believe that China already has replaced the U.S. as the world’s leading superpower or eventually will.
It is a sign of just how completely Barack Obama has “lost his narrative” since getting elected that the best case he has yet made for reelection is that Mitt Romney should not be president. In his notorious “you didn’t build that” speech, Obama listed what he considers the greatest achievements of big government: the Internet, the GI Bill, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Hoover Dam, the Apollo moon landing, and even (bizarrely) the creation of the middle class. Sadly, he couldn’t mention anything comparable that his administration has achieved.
Now Obama is going head-to-head with his nemesis: a politician who believes more in content than in form, more in reform than in rhetoric. In the past days much has been written about Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney’s choice of running mate. I know, like, and admire Paul Ryan. For me, the point about him is simple. He is one of only a handful of politicians in Washington who is truly sincere about addressing this country’s fiscal crisis.
Deficit Graphic
Over the past few years Ryan’s “Path to Prosperity” has evolved, but the essential points are clear: replace Medicare with a voucher program for those now under 55 (not current or imminent recipients), turn Medicaid and food stamps into block grants for the states, and—crucially—simplify the tax code and lower tax rates to try to inject some supply-side life back into the U.S. private sector. Ryan is not preaching austerity. He is preaching growth. And though Reagan-era veterans like David Stockman may have their doubts, they underestimate Ryan’s mastery of this subject. There is literally no one in Washington who understands the challenges of fiscal reform better.
Just as importantly, Ryan has learned that politics is the art of the possible. There are parts of his plan that he is understandably soft-pedaling right now—notably the new source of federal revenue referred to in his 2010 “Roadmap for America’s Future” as a “business consumption tax.” Stockman needs to remind himself that the real “fairy-tale budget plans” have been the ones produced by the White House since 2009.
I first met Paul Ryan in April 2010. I had been invited to a dinner in Washington where the U.S. fiscal crisis was going to be the topic of discussion. So crucial did this subject seem to me that I expected the dinner to happen in one of the city’s biggest hotel ballrooms. It was actually held in the host’s home. Three congressmen showed up—a sign of how successful the president’s fiscal version of “don’t ask, don’t tell” (about the debt) had been. Ryan blew me away. I have wanted to see him in the White House ever since.
It remains to be seen if the American public is ready to embrace the radical overhaul of the nation’s finances that Ryan proposes. The public mood is deeply ambivalent. The president’s approval rating is down to 49 percent. The Gallup Economic Confidence Index is at minus 28 (down from minus 13 in May). But Obama is still narrowly ahead of Romney in the polls as far as the popular vote is concerned (50.8 to 48.2) and comfortably ahead in the Electoral College. The pollsters say that Paul Ryan’s nomination is not a game changer; indeed, he is a high-risk choice for Romney because so many people feel nervous about the reforms Ryan proposes.
But one thing is clear. Ryan psychs Obama out. This has been apparent ever since the White House went on the offensive against Ryan in the spring of last year. And the reason he psychs him out is that, unlike Obama, Ryan has a plan—as opposed to a narrative—for this country.
Mitt Romney is not the best candidate for the presidency I can imagine. But he was clearly the best of the Republican contenders for the nomination. He brings to the presidency precisely the kind of experience—both in the business world and in executive office—that Barack Obama manifestly lacked four years ago. (If only Obama had worked at Bain Capital for a few years, instead of as a community organizer in Chicago, he might understand exactly why the private sector is not “doing fine” right now.) And by picking Ryan as his running mate, Romney has given the first real sign that—unlike Obama—he is a courageous leader who will not duck the challenges America faces.
The voters now face a stark choice. They can let Barack Obama’s rambling, solipsistic narrative continue until they find themselves living in some American version of Europe, with low growth, high unemployment, even higher debt—and real geopolitical decline.
Or they can opt for real change: the kind of change that will end four years of economic underperformance, stop the terrifying accumulation of debt, and reestablish a secure fiscal foundation for American national security.
I’ve said it before: it’s a choice between les √Čtats Unis and the Republic of the Battle Hymn.
I was a good loser four years ago. But this year, fired up by the rise of Ryan, I want badly to win.

Russia slams US for secret prisons on foreign lands
Sat Oct 20, 2012 4:11AM GMT
Russia has launched a broadside on the United States for running secret jails in a variety of countries across the globe.
In a document revealed by RIA Novosti on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is running prisons in Poland, Iraq, Afghanistan, Morocco, Thailand, Lithuania and Romania.
The report, which the ministry has submitted to the lower house of Russian State Duma for deliberations, denounced the US for its dismal human rights record, citing molestation of children, invasion of privacy, brutality of police and restrictions on the freedom of expression.
The report noted that “hundreds of thousands of children” are maltreated in the US every year, leading to 1,600 deaths in 2010 alone.
“About one police officer in 100 has been involved in criminal abuses, including sexual harassment, indecent behavior or rape,” it said.
“The US remains the country with the largest prison population in the world – 2.2 million,” the report underlined.
The Russian report also heaped scorn on a US legislation authorizing “special services” to keep a tab on all private electronic messages without any judicial order. “Between 2004 and 2007 the number of electronic messages monitored by US special services rose by 3,000 percent.”
Former US president George Bush, together with a number of other high-ranking US officials, approved the establishment of secret prisons in foreign lands, as early as 2002, by its key spy agency in efforts to carry out harsh interrogation techniques, such as waterboarding, to extract information from what they introduced as ‘terror suspects’.
The establishment of such interrogation facilities in foreign, allied nations by the US administration was to avert accountability in the American legal system, since torture is specifically banned by the US Constitution.

The SECRET for Undetectable Mind Control
Unless you understand how reality is manifested, your destiny and the destiny of the planet will be in the hands of the ruling Elite who do understand it.
“Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth, because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.” -Friedrich Nietzsche

Living in the third dimension can be a blissful experience when you have power, health, wealth, comforts and freedom.
That’s what the ruling Elite have manifested for themselves while the rest of the world struggles with poverty, disease, drug dependency, debt and servitude.
The ultimate goal of the Illuminati is not only one world government. It is complete mastery over the 3rd dimension of time and space.
Notice how successful they have been at manifesting a Utopian 3rd dimension for themselves – money, yachts, private jets, castles, resorts, racehorses, corporations, gold, gems, servants and everything they desire.
You are part of their manifestation. You and the rest of the world are literally at their feet. How did they do it? With their knowledge of the tools of Creation and Universal Laws.
The Universal Law of Attraction
What do you think about? The answer is revealed by the life that you lead. If you think your life is miserable or great, you are right. Life is whatever you think it is. The same is true for the state of the world. It is what humanity collectively thinks it is. Energy and all forms of matter attract like-vibrational energy. Our thoughts are energy magnets. They attract whatever we point them at.
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” -Albert Einstein/Bashar (debatable)
“Alpha waves in the human brain are between 6 and 8 hertz. The wave frequency of the human cavity resonates between 6 and 8 hertz. All biological systems operate in the same frequency range. The human brain’s alpha waves function in this range and the electrical resonance of the earth is between 6 and 8 hertz. Thus, our entire biological system – the brain and the earth itself – work on the same frequencies. If we can control that resonate system electronically, we can directly control the entire mental system of humankind.” -Nikola Tesla
Your thoughts are living things. When you step into a room full of people, you can sense the living atmosphere created by the collective thought waves of the people in the room. You may sense a calm or a tense atmosphere.

John F. Kennedy talked about the Illuminati – ‘a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy’ that rules the world. April 27, 1961The collective thought waves of the 7 billion people on Planet Earth also create an atmosphere and it affects everyone either consciously or unconsciously. Like the Borg in Star Trek, you can tune into this “collective consciousness” and broadcast ideas to others who will receive and act on them. You are a drop in the ocean of thought and the ocean of thought is in every drop.
The Universal Law of Attraction is working in your life right now. You are attracting the personal situations that you are experiencing. You are also attracting the global situations through your individual contribution to the collective mass consciousness. Think about what you are contributing. Once you are aware of this Universal Law and how it works, you can start to use it deliberately to attract what you want instead of what you don’t want.
Any thought you have, when combined with emotion, vibrates out from you to the universe. Like a boomerang, it returns whatever you focus on. All you have to do is allow yourself to expect what you want. Sounds easy, right? The hard part is becoming ‘doubt-free’. You must expect what you want without doubt, act like you already have it and be grateful for it. Like drops in the ocean, each and every person is individually responsible for their contribution to mass consciousness.
By expecting a New World Order, an Antichrist, an Apocalypse and end times, your contribution to the collective consciousness is “dark”. Expect miracles. Expect a Golden Age. When you assume 100% responsibility for everything you’re experiencing in your reality right now — absolutely everything — only then will you possess the power to alter your reality.
“Our world is a reflection of our subconscious beliefs. Our subconscious mind can process 40 million neural impulses a second while our conscious mind can only process 40 neural impulses per second. We all know that if we focus on something long enough we can do it without thinking, it becomes part of our subconscious routine. Let’s make compassion and understanding a part of our subconscious routine by consciously focusing on these higher aspects of the self in our everyday lives.” -Vito Santana
You are made up of billions and billions of “programmed” beliefs about what is real and what’s not real, what you should or shouldn’t be or wear or say or do. You have downloaded beliefs about how attractive you are, about your body, your intelligence, about God, sin, life after death, morality and class. You have been inundated with disaster scenarios about the future of humanity – a global depression, an apocalypse, Armageddon, end times, depopulation, nuclear war, an Antichrist ruler and other dis-empowering, fear mongering, toxic propaganda.
Very few people understand the programming of fear, and why it distorts our perceptions. While fear is a program used for our survival, fear also creates irrational beliefs that cause larger systems of fear like politics, religion and the media.
‘A Virus Called Fear’ is a short film about the conditioning of fear, and what irrational fears can lead to.
If you stop and look closely at your thoughts and beliefs, you will discover that instead of serving you, they serve the agenda of the ruling Elite. Although you may feel you are immune to religious and political propaganda, your immunity is overpowered by the repetition of messages that burrow into your subconscious just below your conscious radar.
The ruling Elite have taught you slave consciousness. You tick-tack through life with alarm clocks, car clocks, work clocks, the TV clock, the cell phone clock, wrist watches, wall clocks and calendars. It’s “breakfast time”, “lunch hour”, “break time”, “traffic hour”, “news hour”, “happy hour”, “week end”, “dinner time”, “bed time”, “tax time”. You sit in traffic, stand in line-ups, watch mind numbing TV trivia interrupted by endless commercials.
You settle for a 14 day holiday out of the 365 days it takes for the Earth to circle the Sun. You trade your labor for digits at the bank. You celebrate birthdays, New Years, Valentine’s day, St. Patrick’s Day and countless other repetitive cycles of commercialized nonsense. From cradle to grave, you obediently tick-tack through life like an automaton, serving the ruling Elite. Despite the servitude, they have somehow convinced you that you are free.

“The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal.
“Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives, that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does.”
They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society. Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness.
These millions of abnormally normal people, living without fuss in a society to which, if they were fully human beings, they ought not to be adjusted.” -Aldous Huxley, Brave New World Revisited
“None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free.” -Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“Neural electrical activity has been correlated with different states of awareness. Children do not display the neural electrical activity associated with conscious awareness until after six years of age. They spend the first six years of their lives in the state referred to as the hypnogogic trance. This is the same state that hypnotists induce to implant suggestions directly into the subconscious mind.
All patterns of behavior that emerge from experiences where conscious processing is absent or suspended remain below the level of conscious awareness, and tends to be repeated. As an adult any experience that rises above a certain stress threshold induces the hypnogogic state, resulting in a suspension of conscious processing. In this state whatever we experience will be stored in our subconscious memory but not consciously processed.
This is why we are bombarded daily with negative messages that frighten us. It suspends our conscious processing and keeps our subconscious mind open to suggestive programming. In this way we are molded to fit the agenda of the elite. We are regressed daily into a state of hypnogogic compliance and downloaded with predictive programming by the media and entertainment industry.” -Vito Santana
The video below is an amazing interview was done back in 1985 with a former KGB agent who was trained in subversion techniques. He explains the 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to. It’s shocking because our world has been transformed in the exact same way, and followed the exact same steps.
“Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn’t fit in with the core belief.” -Frantz Fanon
14 Different Methodologies of Mind Control

These are the most necessary to understand because they are the most influential over mass consciousness.
1) Obfuscation: Just basic confusion of one thing for another- a smoke and mirrors game.
2) World View Poisoning: Conditioning the way people view human nature and their own self-value.
3) Conditioning of Primal Fear: The exploitation of primal fears.
4) Divide and Conquer Strategy: Highlight any perceived differences between people and then exploit those differences to create infighting so they are easier to control and conquer.
5) Indoctrination of Education System: A left brain form of Nazis called it mastery learning. grade school, HS and university. Trivium and quadrivium education could counteract this.
6) Controlled Opposition: Basic dialectics – dialectical mechanics or Hegelianism Creating conflict that you already have an outcome management system for. Create the conflict and wait for a type of reaction to the conflict (usually chaotic that demands a resolution) and then you step in and resolve it. Artificial conflict resolution.
7) Monetary System of Control: Debt based fiat currency fractional reserve banking a system of illusion that we call money yet people believe in it like its a religion or god. People seem to be the most powerless to come out of. It exists purely in the mind.
8) Control of Mass Media: If you can control the info that people get to see hear and read you control their perception of reality. If you limit the scope of what they can take into their minds and awareness you limit their possibilities of solutions. Human perception management.
9) Food and Medicine: attack on the physical aspects of the body relates to how our brain development goes. You affect thought and consciousness you are what you eat. Use techniques that are damaging to consciousness through the modern medical system
10) Illusion of Time: Very important for people to grasp. Play on people’s seeming inability to live in true present moment awareness– getting people to live in regret over the past or anxiety over the future. Its a fear based technique. Takes us out of true present awareness. Being fully present now to take on what is happening now. If our consciousness can be manipulated into always looking into what has happened. It takes away effectiveness of dealing with the current situation.

11) The DHR Factor: Denial, Hassle, Ridicule: What other people perceive about you. Denial, hassle ridicule factor. Things are fine the way they are I don’t want to rock the boat because I may have to deal with hassle of other people. The hassle free zone is– I don’t want all the uncomfortable aspects of life that come with standing up for truth. These are all fear based. Heightening those three forms of mental instability. Trap of inactivity and not really doing anything to make things better.
12) Religion: We need to understand these last three the best. Religion is a form of binding. To tie back Re-Ligare tying back. Forms of modern religion are mind control based on astro-theology. Giving people an exoteric version of something that was once esoteric or internal. Government is the binding on the left brain… religion is the binding of the right brain.
13) Use of Subversive Symbolism: Based on ancient sacred symbolism. Based on symbols that have been with us from antiquity. Solar symbolism, life force symbols, energy, blood, or anything we need for existence and life. They use these in modern institutions— banks, police, media, stores. We’re drenched in it. Basic symbols have a powerful psychic influence. They can speak to us without words. A wordless form of communication. Connects to occultism.
14) Problem-Reaction-Solution (Chaos Sorcery): A mass demonstration or a public display of the dark aspects of the Hegelian dialectic. Hegelian dialectic can be used in a positive or negative sense. Chaos sorcery or false flag terrorism. This is ritual magic being used openly in the light of day. You are creating a chaotic situation in the light of day and you know it will elicit an extreme reaction of fear and chaos that demands order be brought as soon as possible. You are manipulating the fear in the limbic system– people are not in a state that they can reason. They are demanding solutions purely out of emotions. They are in a reactive mode of consciousness. They want the outcome of the game known before the game is played. Interject chaos, you know the reaction its going to cause and you know. A leap in consciousness will subvert this technique. This technique works over and over again. Humanity won’t wake up. 9-11 was chaos sorcery.

We need to make the public aware of these techniques so people can become street wise to them. Spread the knowledge through your community.
The universe is spoken into existence. We need to be a reflection– speak the truth back into the field of which we are a part of. Actually speaking the knowledge that we have taken back into the world around us. You have the power to heal yourself and the Earth. It starts with the belief that you can do it and then actually ‘doing it’!
Learn how to manifest the reality you want instead of the reality that the Ruling Elite are manifesting for you.
“When we give our minds and our responsibility away, we give our lives away. If enough of us do it, we give the world away and that is precisely what we have been doing throughout known human history.
This is why the few have always controlled the masses. The only difference today is that the few are now manipulating the entire planet because of the globalization of business, banking and communications.
The foundation of that control has always been the same: keep the people in ignorance, fear and at war with themselves. Divide, rule and conquer while keeping the most important knowledge to yourself.” – The Biggest Secret: The Book That Will Change the World

UK Growth is not good according to Christine Lagarde of the thieving IMF

Christine Lagarde warns UK growth ‘not good’
The head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, has expressed renewed concern over the health of the UK economy.
The UK’s growth numbers are “not particularly good”, Ms Lagarde said.
But speaking ahead of a high-level meeting of policymakers in Washington, she refused to be drawn on whether UK should reassess its austerity policy.
Her comments came as Mark Carney, the next governor of the Bank of England, hinted at his concerns over the UK.
In an interview ahead of the meeting between the IMF and the World Bank, he said the US recovery was leaving behind “crisis economies” that included the UK, the eurozone, and Japan.
Mr Carney has been reluctant to comment directly on the UK ahead of taking the helm of its central bank in July.
But he appeared to back Chancellor George Osborne’s view that austerity measures were important to promoting growth.
“[Central banks] can provide the conditions for growth… but they can’t deliver the long-term growth,” he said. “That needs to come from true fiscal adjustment and fundamental structural reforms.”
Consider adjustment?

Earlier this week, the IMF’s chief economist, Olivier Blanchard, urged the UK to rethink its austerity policy in the face of continuing weakness in the economy.
But speaking to reporters on Thursday, Ms Lagarde refused to go as far.
“We clearly support the [austerity] policy,” she said. “[But] we’ve also said that, should growth be particularly low, then there should be consideration to adjusting by way of slowing the pace [of austerity].
George Osborne George Osborne remains committed to austerity measures

“Looking at numbers… the growth numbers are certainly not particularly good.”
The IMF is due to arrive in the UK in May to conduct a thorough investigation of the UK’s economy as part of its “Article IV” consultations.
The consultations are made annually, and allow the IMF to monitor member countries and issue recommendations about economic policy.
Ms Lagarde said she did not wish to pre-empt those consultations by giving a view on UK economic policy now.
So far, the IMF has supported Mr Osborne’s policy of cuts to spending in order to reduce the budget deficit.
But in recent months there have been growing questions over whether austerity measures are doing more harm than good, not least due to weak economic numbers.
Since cuts were introduced in 2010, the UK’s economic growth has consistently been below official forecasts, and borrowing has not been significantly reduced.
Earlier this week, the IMF cut its growth forecast for the UK. It now expects the economy to grow by just 0.7% this year, down from its January forecast of 1% growth.

However, Mr Osborne has insisted that the only way to ensure long term economic growth in the UK was to first bring down the deficit.

Waco Siege: What Really Happened and Why
April 20, 2013
The ground breaking film Waco: A New Revelation is being re-released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Branch Davidians massacre that happened outside of Waco, Texas. This is the film that triggered a new Special Counsel investigation of the Waco tragedy, and caused the Justice Department and the FBI to reverse their long-held position on Waco. It generated a firestorm of events unprecedented in the history of documentary film making.
Learn what really happened and why. http://copsproductions.com/
After six years of painstaking investigation, the complete story of the tragedy near Waco is finally coming to light. This compelling feature-length documentary presents new revelations about the events that led up to the deaths of 79 men, women and children at Mount Carmel on April 19, 1993.

First, a little history…always a good way to begin thoughts like these.
One hundred and seventy-five years ago another “religious” group was despised by howling mobs of ‘citizens’. They were hounded by the ‘citizens’ government and in the process of being driven out of the United States of America, a part of this group of “religious nuts,” men, women and children, were accosted by mounted state militia men who were bent on executing the state government’s “extermination Order.” The militiamen rounded the male members up, locked them in a chink-log grist mill, dismounted and pushed their ‘assault rifles’ through the gaps in the walls and fired, volley after volley. Scores were killed or wounded.
Han's Mill Oct 30, 1838
Han’s Mill Oct 30, 1838
This was known as the “Han’s Mill Massacre,” the group of “religious nuts” were called Mormons. Today’s Mormons are want not to talk about this part of their history. Many aren’t even aware of it. It took an additional 137 years to regain some respectability in the national community, but, even today you can find rabid anti-Mormons spewing their hatred of this “group of religious nuts,” these “cultists,” on the streets surrounding the Mormon’s world headquarters on Temple Square in Salt Lake City.
I don’t understand this kind of hate. When I witnessed the burning of the Branch Davidian church, or “compound” as the FBI called it, on April 19, 1993, the thought crossed my mind, are these people really what the government claims them to be? Or, was this another Hans Mill? I, like so many millions of other Americans that day, had no idea of who those people were. What was certain was they were dead, all the men, women and children save nine adults out of almost 100 souls. I spent the next 19 years trying to find out who these people were, why and how they died and who were the people outside the “Compound,” claiming they wanted the Davidians to come out, but doing their damnedest to kill them.
It’s funny, I never could find those “evil sons of bitches” that were inside the building that day. But I did find a lot of folks that were there that didn’t do their sworn duty and bring all of those inside out, safely, to stand before the bar of justice. Some of those, that were outside that day were actually cowards and ran and hid. Many more were vengeful, and thought the Davidians were getting exactly what they deserved. Then there were those that had the real responsibility for the day’s events. A few of these were Davidans, most were FBI agents and Military people. The nine surviving Davidans were all arrested, tried and sent to prison for their alleged complicity in the Davidian massacre. Not a single Federal agent, FBI, BATF, nor Military operator were ever really investigated as individuals, nor tried, nor convicted for their parts in this mass homicide.
So, who were those guys?
Mt. Carmel, Waco Texas, April 19, 1993.
Mt. Carmel, Waco Texas, April 19, 1993.
So who were these Branch Davidans, and why did they choose the path they went down as a group and as individuals? Well, those are their stories to tell. I’m only aware of one book by a Davidian survivor, it’s interesting, but far from forthcoming about the actual events that transpired inside Mt. Carmel that 19th Day of April, 1993. I have spent a good deal of time with 8-12 of these surviving Davidians, including several that came out during the 51 day siege and weren’t there the day of the fire. I can tell you; these folks are not what the government describes as “crazy, religious nuts.” For the most part, they are very much like us. The government acted as an 8th century barbarian horde and burned the Davidians alive as “social Heretics,” at the “stake” the feds called the compound …with their children. The claim that David Koresh was solely responsible for starting the fire- is not an accurate statement. In fact, members of the FBI Hostage Rescue team and operators from “B” squadron of the Combat Applications Group of FT Bragg North Carolina, under orders of the President of the United States, were the executioners that day. The evidence for this claim is found in the film, “Waco- A New Revelation” and the “FLIR Project.” Please watch them and decide for yourself. (Order information is available at the end of this blog entry).
It was all about control…”Gun Control”
Confiscated Assault Weapons
Confiscated Assault Weapons
Why all this history? In the early fall of 1995 my team and I visited and interviewed Dr. Allan Stone at Harvard University near Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Stone was the psychologist hired by the Justice Department to prove the case against the Davidians. The DOJ was looking for scientific proof that the Davidans were a dangerous, heavily armed, religious cult – just as the FBI had described them, over and over again in all of their multitudinous “press briefings.” Dr. Stone started the interview with a profound observation…” In order to understand what happened at Waco you had to understand, not only the cult inside the ‘compound,’ but the cult outside of the compound as well.” Dr. Stones’ observation of the BATF and the FBI as a “cult” turned out to be right on the money. Please understand, the good Doctor never agreed with many of our conclusions as to the course of events on April the 19th. He simply defended the federal agencies as not being capable of such atrocious acts of barbarity. Watch the films, made with BATF and FBI footage and decide for yourself.

So, why is the Davidian massacre relevant today and why should it be meaningful to us, law abiding Citizens? Simply because of Obama’s reaction to the Sandyhook school tragedy; there may be more Wacos as citizens and some Law Enforcement decide to resist unconstitutional restrictions on the right to keep Bear Arms. None of Obama’s actions would have prevented Sandyhook. Obama’s Executive Orders and congressional legislation would take guns by force from citizens who had committed no crime at Sandyhook or any other shooting and may in fact have used their own gun to protect themselves and their families as is done a million times a year in the United States because when seconds count, the police are still minutes away.
Many people know about Waco, but few know that all those federal agents were there not because children were in danger, not because Koresh was a wanted criminal or criminally insane, but to seize the Davidians guns for alleged violation of gun laws. Anti-gun laws were the reason for the Waco tragedy and the death of dozens of men, women and children in a hail of gun fire, some from snipers, military tanks that demolished the Davidian’s home, incendiaries that started the fire that burned their home to the ground and explosives that were intended to kill Koresh, but killed many of the mothers and all of the children instead.

Will People resist bad laws as our Founding Fathers did?
3%ers flag - Contemproary symbol of resistance.
3%ers flag – Contemproary symbol of resistance.
Will the Government press their enforcement of  an Assault Weapons or magazine ban or universal gun registration to the degree of creating more Waco’s? How would the public respond to such a debacle? If the government shows up at your door, what should you do?

“RESISTANCE?” An appropriate question.
A Nationally known Conservative public figure recently has asked his supporters on two separate occasions, to take the higher road – do as Martin Luther King , Jesus and Gandhi did – take the non-violent path to the higher moral plain. I have pointed out to this fellow that, while doing so is certainly morally admirable. Saying, “We have chosen to resist your unconstitutional law and enforcement actions – arrest us and take us off to jail!” And filling those facilities to over flowing, sounds like the true path of King/Gandhian non-violent protest…it is fatally flawed in the execution of events and will probably get some people killed. Here’s why.
Getting from your front door to standing in front of a judge while shackled can be a tricky process. Ask the surviving Davidians just how difficult it was to get their day in court…watch “Waco- A New Revelation” and understand that the Davidian leader, David Koresh presented himself at the front door of his home with empty hands held up in supplication and said, “Wait! There are women and children inside, let’s talk.” The ATF’s answer was the shooting of the Branch Davidian dogs and shooting Koresh before anything else could be said. The problem lies within the emotional dynamics of how law enforcement, ALL law enforcement, approaches the presentation of a search and arrest warrant on suspicion of violation of firearms laws, AKA Gun Control enforcement. They always execute these warrants either as a “knock warrant” where who they are and what they are there for is ‘announced’ with a knock at the door followed by the door being taken down with a battering ram or a demo charge. The so-called “no-knock” warrants simply eliminates the announcement and knock at the door.
When this type of “entry” is gained by the law enforcement officers there is an assumption that the subjects in the residence or place of business are “armed and dangerous” simply because they are armed…everyone inside is a suspect and will be man handled at the point of a gun. If family pets are, in the officers sole opinion, in the way or pose a threat, they will be dispatched, stomped on, kicked sprayed with a CO2 bottle or shot, as were the Davidian dogs at their master’s front door. The sight of seeing your front door being violently breached, your dog’s shot and your wife and children being thrown against the wall and forced to the floor will inspire most men to deliver a defensive response that will get you killed in most cases. So “resisting” an unjust law and its unwarranted violent enforcement can present some very difficult questions. It just aint as simple as talking your way out of a confrontation and trotting out your attorney in front of the judge to argue the Constitutionality of it all. You can’t call your lawyer, or anyone, at this point in the process. There are numerous stories of people killed in their own home after police “announced themselves” to people who were asleep in their beds until their doors were broken down by strangers in the dark of night. Here is one brief example of one such fiasco http://www.myspace.com/paleness23mn/blog/415677957#! .
There are many law enforcement officers who have now, publicly stated that they will not enforce an unconstitutional Assault Weapons and /or magazine ban. I, for one, think there will be a large number of Officers who will be principled enough to take that stand. However, there will be large numbers of officers who either disagree with that position or are afraid of losing their jobs if they don’t “enforce” the law and let the courts decide who’s right or wrong. So what to do about those that see enforcing the law, right or wrong, as their only choice.

The Law of Unintended Consequences
You have to make some choices. Is this principle worth dying for? I think it is, but – the question is when and where do you make that kind of stand; on your front porch with your wife and children in the line of fire? I’m not suggesting that there aren’t alternatives to marching down to the police station and turning in your guns and having yourself photographed and finger printed like a common criminal. However, if you choose to “resist,” pick and choose your fight wisely! If you choose to “fight it out” through the judicial system, you should safe guard your weapons, arrange your peaceful surrender to the Feds with your friendly sheriff and your attorney, refuse to surrender your weapons- do it in front of a bank of TV and radio cameras and microphones, be booked, arranged and secure bail, so as to fight the next several months in a court of law. The Davidians and David Koresh were NOT given that option. This is a way to go about this difficult dilemma in a peaceful and lawful way.
Then there are other scenarios. When I interviewed Steven Berry, Staff Sargent, Sniper/Trainer for the Combat Applications group of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, AKA “Delta Force.” The subject of the Davidians intent the day the BATF came a calling was discussed. Berry noted that if the Federal authorities were correct in their assumption that the Davidians “laid an ambush” that morning of February 28, 1993, then the Davidians didn’t do what would have been tactically logical in a military operation, if the intent was to kill all the agents – Berry said the Davidians should have shot all of them while they were bunched up in the cattle trailers that brought them onto the property. Further, if the Davidians intent had been to “kill em ‘ all, and let God sort them out”, (an infamous motto attributed to Delta and other Special Forces units, originated by Simon de Montfort), then, the Davidians would not have allowed the BATF to call a cease-fire, and withdraw with their dead and wounded when the agents ran out of ammunition…if it was the Davidians intent to kill all the agents, they would have done so then and there. The jury that tried the surviving Davidans found the facts to be just so. The Davidians were acquitted of conspiracy to murder federal agents and the murder of the agents. The jury did find the Davidans guilty of Manslaughter. It’s noteworthy that the federal judge in the case, Walter Smith turned the jury’s verdict on its head and found them Guilty of Murder and committing the crime while in possession of a “machine gun, ” adding twenty years to each of the defendants sentence. Later, years later, the Supreme Court unanimously vacated twenty years off of their sentences because Judge Smith was not allowed to sentence them in that fashion, only the jury could do that, which they did not. Again this was years after the events transpired and not a single Federal authority has ever been charged, much less convicted of the several crimes committed against the Davidans and their children, now some 20 years later.

I relate this story, not because I support this kind of resistance. I think it would be hard to justify this type of action at the outset of any hostilities between Citizens and Federal authorities and difficult for the average citizen to pull off from a tactical point of view. However, if the federal authorities persist in this kind of approach, in fact, if they take your constitutional freedom away from you at the point of a gun and the threat of death, thus enacting open warfare upon its own citizens- this could provoke the ‘only response’ acceptable within the concept of lawful self-defense, and thus the underpinnings of Civil War would be laid and chaos would ensue., and God help us all!
Thank God – there’s still time to think about it…but the time for wisdom is quickly being supplanted by the time of needed courage to act.
But, thank God this hasn’t happened yet, with the only exception being Waco, 1993. I pray the Authorities will understand their duty to the Constitution and their responsibility to us all not to over-react in the instances where they are charged with taking citizens into lawful custody so as to answer charges in a court of law, certainly never to do again as was done at Waco, Texas. More Waco’s will not be tolerated! If the authorities fail to do their sworn duty and execute proper warrants in a lawful fashion, ALL BETS ARE OFF! They will suffer the consequences of being wrong, both intended and unintended as will those of us that are caught in the cross fire of unconstitutional law, those that sent the officers to execute on it and those that have supported such an outrageous act upon the People may be targeted as perpetrators of tyranny.
So, my friends think long and hard about what you want to do. Watch the films, several times and then ponder the possibilities. Then choose the right course of action for yourself and your family. May God guide us all in our deliberations, may He grant us the courage to choose the Right. May he guide the courses of our leaders, our law enforcement officers and may He confuse and confound the enemies of the Constitution and the People.
