Take care of your internal hot spot
Hi JohnIf I were to ask you what your body's "hot spot" for digestion was, what would you say?
"My stomach?"
Nope.
"Oh, my colon, right? That's it. You always talk about how important the colon is."
Wrong again.
It's your small intestine.
And considering the HUGE role that it plays in digestion and really your overall state of health from head to toe, there's nothing "small" about it!

Here are some fun facts for you:
The small intestine is only called small because the "tube" is not as wide as the large intestine (colon).
End to end your small intestine is about 20 feet long! (Versus your "short" 5-foot large intestine.)
The inside wall of it is covered with thousands of little finger-like structures called villi and each villi is covered with hair-like microvilli--this is where your nutrients get absorbed.
And if you opened it up and spread it out flat with all the little villi and microvilli laying individually on their sides it would cover the surface of an ENTIRE tennis court!
Somehow I doubt Rafael Nadal has that mental picture when he's volleying for the win...
Where the action is
The small intestine is where the REAL digestive action is.
Although your mouth and stomach are responsible for the initial breakdown of foods, the crucial point is just AFTER this.
The vital functions of your small intestine are to:
- Finish the digestion of your food and
- Absorb nutrients
When your food leaves your stomach, ideally it should be broken down to a thick, pea soup-like mass called chyme--pronounced 'kime.'
As the chyme drips out of the stomach and into the duodenum (the upper section of the small intestine), digestive enzymes are secreted by your small intestine, plus bile from the liver (thanks to the gallbladder) and digestive juice and enzymes from your pancreas.
Talk about a team effort!
At this point proteins are completely broken down into their amino acids, fats are reduced to fatty acids and carbohydrates become simple sugars.
In other words, your FOOD is ready to become YOU--nutrients that your body can use for cell energy and growth.
You are quite literally what you eat!
Then your small intestine absorbs the nutrients through tiny blood vessels in its microvilli.
The small intestine is a GENIUS--it knows what nutrients you need the most and absorbs those first. Then it will take up any remaining carbs, proteins, and then fats last.
The nutrients are put into your blood, sent off to the liver to have any toxins filtered out, and then transported all over your body.
Once digestion and nutrient absorption is done, what’s left of the food (which is now just some fiber, waste and water) moves to the large intestine where fiber is broken down, water is absorbed and...
Your next bowel movement is created!
Don't screw up a good thing
This is a magnificent process that is vital to your health and life. Your body needs nutrients to function and, well, to even exist at all.
So why would anyone want to screw up this crucial process?
But that's what millions of people do every single day!
You see, the hard to digest, acid waste-creating diets that most people have put a tremendous strain on ALL of your digestive organs and can lead to illness, disease and death.
It ends up being a domino effect--here's what I mean:
The domino effect of disease creation
When your stomach has trouble breaking down what you've eaten, it has to repeatedly secrete acid. This is how it attempts to jump-start digestion that has been halted or slowed.

The large amount of acid and toxins in your chyme also ruins nutrient absorption--instead of just nutrients, the microvilli end up absorbing LOTS of toxins, which then sail on to your liver.
So now your liver gets stressed out by filtering more toxins than it's supposed to. It can only do so much, and eventually toxins end up staying in your blood and getting transported everywhere.
That leads to inflammation all over your body. Since your blood vessels go everywhere, your entire body is fair game.
And you become the perfect home for obesity, sickness and chronic disease to flourish.
Keep things running smoothly
It's essential to keep ALL of your digestive organs running smoothly, especially the all-important small intestine.

I was having stomach problems for years, accompanied by headaches, dizziness, weakness, and sleepiness nights. I was going crazy.
I finally had an endoscopy done and they found I had H-Pylori and esophagitis Grade C. I was told by my gastro enologist that I had to change my diet, which I had already done, and to stop drinking alcohol and eating spicy foods. I was also put on Nexium, a proton pump inhibiter.

(Who actually ‘bought’ a ticket to this game and

TIME YOU would also have to know how the game of Baseball was once played)

of History. You had to KNOW IT to realize how bad This ‘Team’ really is.

the older and currently-in-use rifles and a much fancier
name...........
The XM25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement System has a range of
roughly 2,300 feet - and is to be deployed in Afghanistan soon. I would call
it the “Equalizer.” Some call it the “Punisher”.

The rifle’s gunsight uses a
laser rangefinder to determine the exact distance to the obstruction, after
which the soldier can add or subtract up to 3 meters from that distance to
enable the bullets to clear the barrier and explode above or beside the target.
Soldiers will be able to use
them to target snipers hidden in trenches rather than calling in air strikes.
The 25-millimeter round
contains a chip that receives a radio signal from the gun sight as to the
precise distance to the target.
Lt. Col. Christopher Lehner,
project manager for the system, described the weapon as a ‘game-changer’ that
other nations will try and copy.
He expects the Army to buy
12,500 of the XM25 rifles this year, enough for every member of the infantry
and special forces.{My note: Is that the extent of our infantry and
special forces??? If so, why so few?}
Lehner told FoxNews: “With
this weapon system, we take away cover from [enemy targets] forever.
Tactics are going to have to be rewritten. The only thing we can see
[enemies] being able to do is run away.”
Experts say the rifle means
that enemy troops will no longer be safe if they take cover. The XM25 appears
to be the perfect weapon for street-to-street fighting that troops in
Afghanistan have to engage in, with enemy fighters hiding behind walls and only
breaking cover to fire occasionally.
The weapon’s laser finder
would work out how far away the enemy was and then the U.S. soldier would add
one meter using a button near the trigger.
When fired, the explosive
round would carry exactly one meter past the wall and explode with the force of
a hand grenade above the Taliban fighter.
The army’s project manager for
new weapons, Douglas Tamilio, said: ‘‘This is the first leap-ahead technology
for troops that we’ve been able to develop and deploy.”
A patent granted to the
bullet’s maker, Alliant Techsystems, reveals that the chip can determine how
far it has travelled. Mr. Tamilio said: “You could shoot a Javelin missile, and
it would cost about $69,000. These rounds will end up costing $25.00 apiece.
They’re relatively
cheap. Lehner added: “This is a game-changer. The enemy has learned
to get cover, for hundreds if not thousands of years. Well, they
can’t do that anymore. We’re taking that cover from them and there’s only
two outcomes: We’re going to get you behind that cover or force you to
flee.” The rifle will initially use high-explosive rounds, but its makers
say that it might later use versions with smaller explosive charges that aim to
stun rather than kill.
What one of the revolutionary
bullets looks like that can be pre-programmed to explode to hit eneny troops
that are hiding.

Under the interim agreement, Tehran will be allowed access to $4.2 billion in funds frozen as part of the financial sanctions imposed on Iran over suspicions that its nuclear program is aimed at producing an atomic bomb. As part of the deal Iran has committed to: - Halt uranium enrichment to above 5 per cent. - Dismantle equipment required to enrich above 5 per cent. - Refrain from further enrichment of its 3.5 per cent stockpile. - Dilute its store of 20 per cent-enriched uranium. - Limit the use and installation of its centrifuges. - Cease construction on the Arak nuclear reactor. - Provide IAEA inspectors with daily access to the Natanz and Fordo sites. Iran's foreign minister, Javad Zarif, called the deal a “major success” and said Tehran would expand its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). While Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced that the deal reached in Geneva shows that world powers have recognized Tehran's “nuclear rights.” “Constructive engagement [and] tireless efforts by negotiating teams are to open new horizons,” Rouhani said on Twitter shortly after the announcement. In turn, the IAEA said it is ready to that Iran keeps its commitments under the deal. "With the agreement of the IAEA's Board of Governors, the Agency will be ready to fulfill its role in verifying the implementation of nuclear related measures," said Director General Yukiya Amano as cited by Reuters. Foreign ministers from the US, Russia, UK, France, China, Germany and the EU hailed the deal as a step toward a “comprehensive solution” to the nuclear standoff between Tehran and the West. The interim deal was reached early Sunday morning in Geneva after some 18 hours of negotiation. “While today's announcement is just a first step, it achieves a great deal,” US President Barack Obama said in a statement at the White House. “For the first time in nearly a decade, we have halted the progress of the Iranian nuclear program, and key parts of the program will be rolled back.” However, Obama said that if Iran fails to keep to its commitments over the next six months, the US will “ratchet up” sanctions. US Secretary of State John Kerry, a key participant in the Geneva talks, said that Iran still had to prove it is not seeking to develop atomic weapons. 
Uranium
enrichment
As part of the agreement, the international community has accepted
Tehran’s right to a peaceful nuclear program. But after the deal was struck,
participants in the Geneva talks put different interpretations on the issue
of Iran’s right to enrich uranium.Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi wrote on Twitter that the right to enrichment had been recognized in negotiations, and after the deal was clinched Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the deal accepted Tehran’s right to enrich uranium. “This deal means that we agree with the need to recognize Iran's right for peaceful nuclear energy, including the right for enrichment, with an understanding that those questions about the [Iranian nuclear program] that still remain, and the program itself, will be placed under the strictest IAEA control,” Lavrov told journalists.  “The first step, let me be clear, does not say that Iran has a right to enrich uranium,” Kerry said. Israel has already voiced its opposition to the deal with Iran, claiming it is based on “Iranian deception and self-delusion.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the agreement as a "historic mistake" and said the world had become a more dangerous place. |
My Quick/Easy Sprouting Technique for Desperate Times
Experience has led me to a quick, easy, and cheap way to
do sprouting. Remember that when the next prolonged electrical power outage
occurs, everyone will soon be desperate for food.
Forget your outdoor garden, unless you plan on guarding
it day and night.
All you do is stock up on dried lentils from any
supermarket, buckwheat groats from some supermarkets (e.g. Whole Foods) or from
Chinese and Korean grocery stores, and maybe sunflower seeds, available at
health stores and on the Internet. Of course, you can sprout mung beans,
alfalfa seeds, etc. also. But be sure to really stock up, because sprouts may
be a major source of food for the family and for starving neighbors who won't shoot
you if you give them some food.
Here's the quick/easy sprouting process -- no messy
cheese cloth.
At your local Chinese or Korean grocery store, buy this
brand of kim chee, a fermented vegetable mix which is quite beneficial to
proper digestion and general health, but buy it in the large stout jar that you
see on the left of the three jars pictured in the advertisement on this web
page:
This jar is sized and shaped ideally for sprouting.
Moreover, it has a plastic (non-corrosive) lid with a smooth top surface. Put
your sprouting seeds into the clean empty jar and fill it with tap water to
soak for half a day. Then hold the flat smooth top of the lid over the mouth of
the jar and slowly turn the jar upside down. Very slowly slide the top of the
lid off center very slightly from the mouth of the upside down jar until air is
just barely able to get sucked into the jar as the water trickles out. It only
takes about 20 seconds to pour off the water in this manner, and none of the
seeds have ever escaped when I do it this way. Then turn the jar right side up,
wiping the lid top across the mouth of the jar to deposit the remaining seeds
back into the jar. Place the jar of wet seeds on your counter, and use a fork
to wipe the seeds from the wall of the jar into the bottom of the jar. Take a
small brown paper bag and shorten the length of the bag by cutting several
inches crosswise off the top of the bag.
Now cut several very small holes in the bottom of the
bag. Place the bag upside down over the jar, so that the seeds can sprout on
your sunny counter top in relative darkness, but with necessary air
circulation. Furthermore, the heat from the sun shining on the heat absorbent
brown paper will help to elevate the temperature of the seeds to, say, 70
degrees or more, which is conducive to sprouting.
I found that I never forget to rinse the seeds about four
times a day because my eye always catches that upside down paper bag on the
kitchen counter. When the seeds have sprouted sufficiently, you can take the
bag off and let them get some sunshine to green them up a bit. Then, when they
have sprouted enough, partially fill the jar of sprouts with water and shake in
some baking soda, which will prevent mold from growing. In fact, I use baking
soda to kill the mildew in the shower stall and also, I soak my cut up fresh
coconut in baking soda and water for a couple of hours before storing it in the
fridge, otherwise the coconut gets that red mildew spotting.
After a couple of hours, rinse out the baking soda water
several times with fresh water, drain the sprouts, put the jar in the fridge
with the cap on. Each time I harvest some sprouts from the fridge, I give the
jar of sprouts a cold water rinse/drain, and put the jar back in the fridge,
otherwise they tend to dry out after a few days.

There are two major political parties in America. I’m a member of the naïve, stupid, and cowardly one. I’m a Republican.
How stupid is the GOP? They still don’t get it.
I told them 5 years ago, 2 books ago, a national bestseller ago ("The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide"), and in hundreds of articles and commentaries, that ObamaCare was never meant to help America, or heal the sick, or lower healthcare costs, or lower the debt, or expand the economy.
The GOP needs to stop calling ObamaCare a “trainwreck.” That means it’s a mistake, or accident. That means it’s a gigantic flop, or failure. It’s NOT.
This is a brilliant, cynical, and purposeful attempt to damage the U.S. economy, kill jobs, and bring down capitalism.
It’s not a failure, it’s Obama’s grand success.
It’s not a “train wreck,” ObamaCare is a suicide attack. He wants to hurt us, to bring us to our knees, to capitulate- so we agree under duress to accept big government.
Obama’s hero and mentor was Saul Alinsky -- a radical Marxist intent on destroying capitalism. Alinksky’s stated advice was to call the other guy “a terrorist” to hide your own intentions.
To scream that the other guy is “ruining America,” while you are the one actually plotting the destruction of America. To claim again and again…in every sentence of every speech…that you are “saving the middle class,” while you are busy wiping out the middle class.
The GOP is so stupid they can’t see it. There are no mistakes here. This is a planned purposeful attack.
The tell-tale sign isn’t the disastrous start to ObamaCare. Or the devastating effect the new taxes are having on the economy. Or the death of full-time jobs. Or the overwhelming debt. Or the dramatic increases in health insurance rates. Or the 70% of doctors now thinking of retiring- brining on a healthcare crisis of unimaginable proportions. Forget all that.
The real sign that this is a purposeful attack upon capitalism is how many Obama administration members and Democratic Congressmen are openly calling Tea Party Republicans and anyone who wants to stop ObamaCare “terrorists.”
There’s the clue. Even the clueless GOP should be able to see that.
They are calling the reasonable people…the patriots…the people who believe in the Constitution ... the people who believe exactly what the Founding Fathers believed…the people who want to take power away from corrupt politicians who have put America $17 trillion in debt…terrorists?
That’s because they are Saul Alinsky-ing the GOP. The people trying to purposely hurt America, capitalism and the middle class…are calling the patriots by a terrible name to fool, confuse and distract the public.
ObamaCare is a raving, rollicking, fantastic success. Stop calling it a failure. Here is what it was created to do. It is succeeding on all counts:
1. ObamaCare was intended to bring about the Marxist dream -- redistribution of wealth.
Rich people, small business owners, and the middle class are being robbed, so that the money can be redistributed to poor people (who vote for Democrats
Think about it. If you’re rich or middle class, you now have to pay for your own health care costs (at much higher rates) AND 40 million other people’s costs too (through massive tax increases).
So you’re stuck paying for both bills. You are left broke. Brilliant.
2. ObamaCare was intended to wipe out the middle class and make them dependent on government.
Think about it. Even Obama’s IRS predicts that health insurance for a typical American family by 2016 will be $20,000 per year. But how would middle class Americans pay that bill and have anything left for food or housing or living? People that make $40K, or $50K, or $60K can’t possibly hope to spend $20K on health insurance without becoming homeless.
Bingo. That’s how you make middle class people dependent on government. That’s how you make everyone addicted to government checks. Brilliant.
3. As a bonus, ObamaCare is intended to kill every decent paying job in the economy, creating only crummy, crappy part-time jobs.
Why? Just to make sure the middle class is trapped, with no way out. Just to make sure no one has the $20,000 per year to pay for health insurance, thereby guaranteeing they become wards of the state. Brilliant.
4. ObamaCare is intended to bankrupt small business, and therefore starve donations to the Republicans. Think about it. Do you know a small business owner? I know hundreds of them. Their rates are being doubled, tripled and quadrupled by ObamaCare.
Guess who writes 75% of the checks to Republican candidates and conservative causes? The GOP.
Even if a small business owner manages to survive, he or she certainly can’t write a big check to the GOP anymore. Money is the “mother’s milk” of politics. Without donations, a political party ceases to exist. Bingo.
That’s the point of ObamaCare. Obama is bankrupting his political opposition and drying up donations to the GOP. Brilliant.
5. ObamaCare is intended to make the IRS all-powerful.
It adds thousands of new IRS agents. It puts the IRS in charge of overseeing 15% of the U.S. economy. The IRS has the right because of ObamaCare to snoop into every aspect of your life, to go into your bank accounts, to fine you, to frighten you, to intimidate you. And Obama and his socialist cabal have access to your deepest medical secrets.
By law your doctor has to ask your sexual history. That information is now in the hands of Obama and the IRS to blackmail GOP candidates into either not running, or supporting bigger government, or leaking the info and ruining your campaign.
Or have you forgotten the IRS harassed, intimidated and persecuted critics of Obama and conservative groups?
Now Obama hands the IRS even more power. Big Brother rules our lives. Brilliant.
6. ObamaCare is intended to unionize 15 million healthcare workers.
That produces $15 billion in new union dues. That money goes to fund Democratic candidates and socialist causes -- thereby guaranteeing Obama’s friends never lose another election, and Obama’s policies keep ruining capitalism and bankrupting business owners long after he’s out of office.
Message to the GOP: This isn’t a game. This isn’t tiddly-winks. This is a serious, purposeful attempt to high jack America and destroy capitalism.
This isn’t a train wreck. It's purposeful suicide.
It's not failing, it's working exactly according to plan. Obama knows what he’s doing. Stop apologizing and start fighting.
Oh and one more thing…Conservatives aren’t “terrorists.” We are patriots and saviors. We represent the Constitution and the Founding Fathers. We are the heroes and good guys. Unless you get all this through your thick skulls, America is lost…forever.
