Some interesting data on the 'state' of Illinois ... There are more people
on welfare in Illinois than there are people working. Chicago pays the
highest wages to teachers than anywhere else in the U.S. averaging
$110,000/year. Their pensions average 80-90% of their income. Wow, are
Illinois and Chicago great or what? Be sure to read till the end. I've never
heard it explained better. Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago ?
Body count: In the last six months, 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago . 221
killed in Iraq ; AND Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the entire
US.

Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. Can't blame
Republicans; there aren't any!

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois .
And he is going to 'fix' Washington politics for us?

George Ryan is no longer Governor, he is in prison.

He was replaced by Rob Blagojevich who is, that's right, also in prison.

And Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned, .. and that's right, he and
his wife both are in prison also.

The Land of Lincoln , where our Governors and Representatives make our
license plates. What?

As long as they keep providing entitlements to the population of Chicago ,
nothing is going to change, except the state will go broke before the
country does.

OKLAHOMA - may soon have plenty of new residents!

Oklahoma is the only state that Obama did not win even one county in the
last election... While everyone is focusing on Arizona 's new law, look what
Oklahoma has been doing!!!

An update from Oklahoma :

Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9 an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on
the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the
ACLU,said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on
Christian values... HB 1330

Guess what... Oklahoma did it anyway.

Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal
immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to
get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. HB
1804. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU,
they said it would be a mistake.

Guess what... Oklahoma did it anyway.

Recently we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegal's
to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said
it was unconstitutional SB 1102

Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state,
not under the Federal Government directives. Joining Texas , Montana and
Utah as the only states to do so.

More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Carolina's,
Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi and Florida. Save
your confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again.

right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a

Just this month, the state has voted and passed a law that ALL drivers'
license exams will be printed in English, and only English, and no other
language. They have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that
ALL of the road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma
, you must read and write English.

 Max Liberty) – Russian troops are already on US soil! They are occupying US/Alaska Wrangell Island in the Arctic. Putin’s troops are astoundingly getting help from President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry. What kind of foreign aid is this gigantic giveaway?

They used to say “The Russians are coming.” But now they have already gotten here and occupied US soil.

The Obama/Kerry State Department is giving away seven strategic, resource-laden Alaskan islands to the Russians. Yes, to the Putin regime in the Kremlin.

The seven endangered islands in the Arctic Ocean and Bering Sea include one the size of Rhode Island and Delaware combined (Wrangell). The Russians also get the tens of thousands of square miles of oil-rich sea beds surrounding the islands. The Department of Interior estimates billions of barrels of oil are at stake.

The State Department has undertaken the giveaway in the guise of a maritime boundary agreement between Alaska and Siberia. Astoundingly, the State Department itself drew the line to put these seven Alaskan islands on the Russian side. But as an executive agreement, it can be reversed with the stroke of a pen by President Obama or Secretary Kerry.

The agreement was negotiated in total secrecy. The state of Alaska was not allowed to participate in the negotiations, Congress was not notified, nor was the public given any opportunity for comment. The Alaska Legislature has passed resolutions of opposition, and so has California’s legislature but the State Department doesn’t seem to care.

The imperiled Arctic Ocean islands include Wrangell, Bennett, Jeannette and Henrietta. Wrangell became American in 1881 with the landing of the U.S. Revenue Marine ship Thomas Corwin. The landing party included the famed naturalist John Muir. It is 3,000 square miles in size.

Northwest of Wrangell are the DeLong Islands, named for George Washington DeLong, the captain of USS Jeannette. Also in 1881, he discovered and claimed these three islands for the United States. He named them for the voyage co-sponsor, New York City newspaper publisher James Gordon Bennett. The ship’s crew received a hero’s welcome back in Washington, and Congress awarded them gold medals.

In the Bering Sea at the far west end of the Aleutian chain are Copper Island, Sea Lion Rock and Sea Otter Rock. They were ceded to the U.S. in Seward’s 1867 treaty with Russia.

Now is the time for the Obama administration to stand up for U.S. and Alaskan rights and invaluable resources. The State Department’s maritime agreement is a loser – it gives us nothing in return for giving up US/Alaska’s sovereign territory and invaluable resources. We won the Cold War and should start acting like it. We can’t be kicked around by Russia’s Putin any more.

The Obama administration must stop the giveaway immediately. No more Russian troops on US soil.

The shocking minutes relating to President Putin’s meeting this past week with US Secretary of State John Kerry reveal the Russian leaders “extreme outrage” over the Obama regimes continued protection of global seed and plant bio-genetic giants Syngenta and Monsanto in the face of a growing “bee apocalypse” that the Kremlin warns “will most certainly” lead to world war.

According to these minutes, released in the Kremlin today by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation (MNRE), Putin was so incensed over the Obama regimes refusal to discuss this grave matter that he refused for three hours to even meet with Kerry, who had traveled to Moscow on a scheduled diplomatic mission, but then relented so as to not cause an even greater rift between these two nations.

At the center of this dispute between Russia and the US, this MNRE report says, is the “undisputed evidence” that a class of neuro-active insecticides chemically related to nicotine, known as neonicotinoids, are destroying our planets bee population, and which if left unchecked could destroy our world’s ability to grow enough food to feed its population.

So grave has this situation become, the MNRE reports, the full European Commission (EC) this past week instituted a two-year precautionary ban (set to begin on 1 December 2013) on these “bee killing” pesticides following the lead of Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Slovenia and Ukraine, all of whom had previously banned these most dangerous of genetically altered organisms from being used on the continent.

Two of the most feared neonicotinoids being banned are Actara and Cruiser made by the Swiss global bio-tech seed and pesticide giant Syngenta AG which employs over 26,000 people in over 90 countries and ranks third in total global sales in the commercial agricultural seeds market.

Important to note, this report says, is that Syngenta, along with bio-tech giants Monsanto, Bayer, Dow and DuPont, now control nearly 100% of the global market for genetically modified pesticides, plants and seeds.

Also to note about Syngenta, this report continues, is that in 2012 it was criminally charged in Germany for concealing the fact that its genetically modified corn killed cattle, and settled a class-action lawsuit in the US for $105 million after it was discovered they had contaminated the drinking supply of some 52 million Americans in more than 2,000 water districts with its “gender-bending” herbicide Atrazine.

To how staggeringly frightful this situation is, the MNRE says, can be seen in the report issued this past March by the American Bird Conservancy (ABC) wherein they warned our whole planet is in danger, and as we can, in part, read:

“As part of a study on impacts from the world’s most widely used class of insecticides, nicotine-like chemicals called neonicotinoids, American Bird Conservancy (ABC) has called for a ban on their use as seed treatments and for the suspension of all applications pending an independent review of the products’ effects on birds, terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates, and other wildlife.

“It is clear that these chemicals have the potential to affect entire food chains. The environmental persistence of the neonicotinoids, their propensity for runoff and for groundwater infiltration, and their cumulative and largely irreversible mode of action in invertebrates raise significant environmental concerns,” said Cynthia Palmer, co-author of the report and Pesticides Program Manager for ABC, one of the nation’s leading bird conservation organizations.

ABC commissioned world renowned environmental toxicologist Dr. Pierre Mineau to conduct the research. The 100-page report, “The Impact of the Nation’s Most Widely Used Insecticides on Birds,” reviews 200 studies on neonicotinoids including industry research obtained through the US Freedom of Information Act. The report evaluates the toxicological risk to birds and aquatic systems and includes extensive comparisons with the older pesticides that the neonicotinoids have replaced. The assessment concludes that the neonicotinoids are lethal to birds and to the aquatic systems on which they depend.

“A single corn kernel coated with a neonicotinoid can kill a songbird,” Palmer said. “Even a tiny grain of wheat or canola treated with the oldest neonicotinoid — called imidacloprid — can fatally poison a bird. And as little as 1/10th of a neonicotinoid-coated corn seed per day during egg-laying season is all that is needed to affect reproduction.”

The new report concludes that neonicotinoid contamination levels in both surface- and ground water in the United States and around the world are already beyond the threshold found to kill many aquatic invertebrates.”

Quickly following this damning report, the MRNE says, a large group of group of American beekeepers and environmentalists sued the Obama regime over the continued use of these neonicotinoids stating: “We are taking the EPA to court for its failure to protect bees from pesticides. Despite our best efforts to warn the agency about the problems posed by neonicotinoids, the EPA continued to ignore the clear warning signs of an agricultural system in trouble.”

And to how bad the world’s agricultural system has really become due to these genetically modified plants, pesticides and seeds, this report continues, can be seen by the EC’s proposal this past week, following their ban on neonicotinoids, in which they plan to criminalize nearly all seeds and plants not registered with the European Union, and as we can, in part, read:

“Europe is rushing towards the good ol days circa 1939, 40… A new law proposed by the European Commission would make it illegal to “grow, reproduce or trade” any vegetable seeds that have not been “tested, approved and accepted” by a new EU bureaucracy named the “EU Plant Variety Agency.”

It’s called the Plant Reproductive Material Law, and it attempts to put the government in charge of virtually all plants and seeds. Home gardeners who grow their own plants from non-regulated seeds would be considered criminals under this law.”

This MRNE report points out that even though this EC action may appear draconian, it is nevertheless necessary in order to purge the continent from continued contamination of these genetically bred “seed monstrosities.”

Most perplexing in all of this, the MRNE says, and which led to Putin’s anger at the US, has been the Obama regimes efforts to protect pesticide-producer profits over the catastrophic damaging being done to the environment, and as the Guardian News Service detailed in their 2 May article titled “US rejects EU claim of insecticide as prime reason for bee colony collapse” and which, in part, says:

“The European Union voted this week for a two-year ban on a class of pesticides, known as neonicotinoids, that has been associated with the bees’ collapse. The US government report, in contrast, found multiple causes for the collapse of the honeybees.”

To the “truer” reason for the Obama regimes protection of these bio-tech giants destroying our world, the MRNE says, can be viewed in the report titled “How did Barack Obama become Monsanto’s man in Washington?” and which, in part, says:

Every day, hundreds more people are getting involved. Your tears flowed today when you were told that the BUDDHISTS have become involved in removing the dark energy that has engulfed your world. When people of the light work together as one, MIRACLES HAPPEN, and this is what you can expect. The work on the ley lines had to happen first, before you could attempt anything else. As you know, my dear, one always has to set the stage. Also, the energy that has been released along with the intentions of all those good people, will give more energy to our other projects. We are on the right track, have no doubt about that. The goodwill of the people who have come together, will enable all our projects to succeed. It was important for people to wake up to the significance of energy and how it is used against humanity. Eventually, everything will blossom into life and man will reach his full potential. The land will recover, and once more, yield good wholesome food, so that people can recover from all the chemicals that they have had to endure during the dark times. You have taken the first steps and we will guide the way for you. Do not lower your vibration by being angry or vindictive towards those who have held you hostage, even though they have continued with their evil plans to destroy your planet. Remember that those who made the original plans have long since left the Earth. Raise your own vibration as much as possible. This will protect you and yours. No need to click on them For many of us with blogs, social media groups, and websites we get to deal with trolls, but only if we are spreading any type of truth to the masses while trying to change the world for the better. I have tried to figure out what type of a person would be so willing to attempt to do these things for a measly 10 bucks an hour or so. What type of a person would be willing to run around and knowingly put people down, make threats, try to discredit them, or just cause disharmony? I would say they are people that need a lot of help. Possibly suffering from some type of internal damnation, mental illness, fear, or self hate? To get off on harming others in any way shape or form is just sick. Many of us have read or been warned that in these times of change and truth coming out, there will be many more running around trying to spread disinformation. Trying to take down as many truthers as they can or just spread misery and hate. I have noticed in several groups that most of these people can't be helped with Love or Kindness at this time. It’s like some sick twisted thinking going on in them heads of theirs.  I have watched them twist so many things around that half the time they make no sense at all. I also know that if you don’t play along with their game they end up really getting angry and it shows through them like a huge red target! You can’t miss them. I also see that so many more of us can actually intuitively just “FEEL” their horrible energy coming through the computer screen. So how should we really deal with trolls these days? Before we start casting them off to some hell, or torture chambers; how about we just let them go play their games elsewhere. When they find themselves all alone in their negative bashing crowd of other trolls, and become tired of that game, we can welcome them with open arms? That would be when they fix whatever mental illness or internal struggles they are dealing with. In this day in age I would assume that there is so much “lack of” that some people have just lost their natural abilities to have empathy and compassion for one another. I have noticed so many that are just angry inside. It’s like they can’t deal with life anymore and just don’t give a shit. I find that really sad myself. I wish I could show them how to be happy and enjoy life, but like the old saying goes, “You can’t love someone, until you love yourself.” So I would just say that they lacked some sort of normal childhood and have learned to hate or just not care anymore, or for whatever reason they are just plain horrible when they come out of the woodwork. I belong to so many groups these days I sit back and watch people. It’s interesting to do. Some believe the Global Reset, Ascension, reality as it is in 3D while others believe the world is doomed for WWIII, and some just don't even have a clue of any of this stuff. Often times I have wondered just what gets people into these different groups of beliefs. Although I myself believe in a Global Reset, Golden Age and Ascension, I have to remember that not all are on that same path. I don’t know what the future holds at the moment, but I am okay with that. My views will change as I learn more, isn’t that what life is about, learning? If I worry about something that has not even happened yet, then what’s the use of living? I was watching some in one group bashing those that they call the New Age Kool-aid Drinkers, other groups bashing people such as Drake, Cobra, Buck, Obama, Kerry, and Fulford; and so on and so forth. They claim they don’t care and most of the comments mention things like, “It is beyond me how these people can follow these clowns” and others in the same context, some much more vulgar then that. It is really interesting that these bashing groups get made to begin with by those who claim these people are clowns and they don’t care one bit. They just can’t figure out how anyone would want to follow what any of these people say. Yet their groups are full of post after post copying and pasting the so called "Clowns" words just to talk smack about them. So in the end they left the groups because they did not believe these people, yet are still surrounding themselves with the very thing they say they think is bullshit? I wonder why they even bother to bash them or post screen shots of conversations from other social media or groups. If they don’t care or consider these people clowns, then what is the purpose of doing such things? To me it would seem that deep down they would want the things being said to happen, yet they are too afraid to believe them for fear of being let down? Maybe they are just hateful? Maybe they just see things differently. Or maybe it’s just the actual Troll Club itself where they do troll training? The thing is they never have anything proof to back up what they complain about, nor do many of us have much proof to back up the claim that these people are right. Proof can be subjective in of itself also. I’ve seen some pretty downright hateful things posted in such groups. In the world of cyber space anyone can be on the other side of the screen, and you would never know who it was. I could have been talking to Kevin Costner under the alias Divine Lightning and never even known it. Don’t mistake my saying they have no proof as me saying I am in agreement with anyone I listed. I agree with many things that each one of them says and I also disagree with many things. That alone does not mean they are wrong or right, it only means that this is what I am willing to see as my truth in the moment. Truth alone is subjective to ones beliefs most of the time. With all the things going on in the world today one would think things are ready to start blowing up all over. We have protest everywhere; riots, market crash predictions, and lame-stream Media is depicting things as all hell breaking loose! Still in the background on Social Media we have to deal with these damn trolls. It is one thing to send Love and Light to people; it is another to let them bring you down and keep them in your space to do so.  We can choose to be hateful or argumentative towards them and feed them, or we can choose to just send them on their way with blessings for their path in life and leave it at that. I do know that when I send them on their way and leave it at that, I do feel much more peaceful inside. If I let myself get angry and all uptight, I find I lose my center and get off kilter. So before we spread hatefulness when we come across those trolls in our lives, let’s just tell them the following. “Thank you for visiting. I send you blessings for your life path” and then let them go. Kick them out, erase their messages, block their email address, or block their names and what not. Just don’t waste your energy on them. That is exactly what they want. They want to cause disruptions and arguments. They live off watching disharmony in action. So just let them go! We do have to be careful in doing this though. I have noticed in many groups and comment sections that if someone does not always agree with the status quo within that group or comment area, they are automatically labeled a troll. An example in one group, someone I had known for months had pointed out an important piece of information that went against the main person providing “Intel” within this group. It was about a picture this main "Intel" provider had posted stating he had been helping this women in another country with school. When this person I had known pointed out he found this picture of this women that was supposedly being helped on an escort service site, he had tried to keep it private and messaged the admins about it. Obviously they did not want to deal with it, which was evident when I had read the conversation between them. So very politely he had posted it publicly in the group since it was being ignored. I believe he had said something to the affect of, “Since _______ is the main “Intel” provider in this group and I found the picture of the women he said he is helping on an escort service site, I feel he owes the group here an explanation of what this is all about”. One of the other admins had come in and started yelling at him to stop. I believe he had made one final statement, something like, "I believe if most of the people here are putting their trust into ______ and this shows deception in some way, he owes us all an explanation."  It took all of 2 minutes for him to be deleted. I watched in anger as the admin of the group started telling everyone he was a troll. Other group members got involved and started bad mouthing this person. It really made me sick because I knew he was not a troll, he had just run across something that did not look good for the admins or “Intel” provider. I myself would want answers as well. If your a truther, you question everything until you find the facts or have the experience necassary to prove such facts. If anyone is listening to anyone for any type of truth or “Intel”, it is your responsibility to ensure you are not being taken for a ride. I found out at that moment I really did not want to be part of the follow the “Intel” crowd. When the things I hope for happen, I am sure I will know as everyone will be talking about it. I don’t think I will miss it and that is why I stopped listening to the “Intel” itself. It is not really going to make a difference if I know a day in advance or not. I still have my life to live today so something that has not happened yet is not really going to affect it any. So before we start judging those who don’t agree we have to be careful not to be hateful I would think. Just because we don’t agree on a topic does not mean we have to fight about it until the other agrees with you. It’s not a race, it’s not about who’s right or wrong, it’s about you and your path alone. It's about working together for the betterment of Humanity as a whole. It is not mandatory that your belief or truth as you see it. is seen that way by anyone else. What should be mandatory in our natural way of thinking and behaving is being respectful towards one another and understanding that we are all on our own path. My path will not be the same as yours, nor is yours the same as anyone else’s. We are each important in our own ways. There are so many good things we can learn from each other if we just learn to put aside our differences and listen from an observers stand point. So while we are out there watching our groups, blogs and websites for those pesky little trolls, let’s be careful not to alienate those that are not trolls. If you have not had many experiences with trolls you can get a good idea of how they are by others. Just ask questions. One good way of spotting them is when you ask them to please be respectful to others when they get out of line. When they just don’t quit, it’s usually a troll. While we sniff out the internet for our truth and whatever floats our boat, let’s not send out hateful intentions for anyone. We can learn to raise our awareness’s by being the Conscious Objective Observer of our own experience. We can also do this by always placing ourselves in others shoes. Looking at things from all viewpoints in life, as it gives you a much better advantage to see the forest for the trees. So to those trolls that have already attacked my blog and left horrible messages. I know my spelling is not that great. I don’t need to be reminded of that. When one worries so much about the spelling of things, they tend to miss the point of the message. Putting down groups and people in them is just childish and sad. It really shows that you are coming from a place of FEAR, ANGER and HATE. So enjoy posting all your crappy comments and I will enjoy deleting them as I wish you the best in your life’s journey. I JUST DON’T HAVE TO BE A PART OF YOUR JOURNEY nor do I have to deal with it!  So I leave you with this link. This levels the playing field so all people have the same opportunity and reward.  Personally I like this scenario. Why? Because, if you go back when you purchased your dinar and dong, you were thrilled with the thoughts that the rate could be a dollar for the dinar and 5 cents for the dong.  Whatever you come out with will be a blessing beyond belief, right?

One man who is out to open many old “secrets” in the Catholic church is Pope Francis. Some of the beliefs that are held in the church but contrary to the loving nature of God are now being set aside by the Pope who was recently named The Man of The Year by TIME Magazine…..
In his latest revelations, Pope Francis said:
“Through humility, soul searching, and prayerful contemplation we have gained a new understanding of certain dogmas. The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer. This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God.”
In a shocking speech that is reverberating across the world, Pope Francis declared that:
“All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.”
In the last six months, Catholic cardinals, bishops and theologians have been deliberating in the Vatican City, in discussing the future of the church and redefining long-held Catholic doctrines and dogmas. The Third Vatican Council, is the largest and most important since the Second Vatican Council was concluded in 1962.
Pope Francis convened the new council to “finally finish the work of the Second Vatican Council.”
The Third Vatican Council concluded with Pope Francis announcing that…
Catholicism is now a “modern and reasonable religion, which has undergone evolutionary changes. The time has come to abandon all intolerance. We must recognize that religious truth evolves and changes. Truth is not absolute or set in stone. Even atheists acknowledge the divine. Through acts of love and charity the atheist acknowledges God as well, and redeems his own soul, becoming an active participant in the redemption of humanity.”
One statement in the Pope’s speech has sent traditionalists into a fit of confusion and hysteria…
“God is changing and evolving as we are, For God lives in us and in our hearts. When we spread love and kindness in the world, we touch our own divinity and recognize it. The Bible is a beautiful holy book, but like all great and ancient works, some passages are outdated. Some even call for intolerance or judgement. The time has come to see these verses as later interpolations, contrary to the message of love and truth, which otherwise radiates through scripture. In accordance with our new understanding, we will begin to ordain women as cardinals, bishops and priests. In the future, it is my hope that we will have a woman pope one day. Let no door be closed to women that is open to men!”
A few cardinals in the Catholic church are against Pope Francis’ latest declarations. Watch out for the report.

** FLASH ** Earthquake Strikes Crimea; Russian Troops Blame U.S. HAARP – Furious – Saying U.S. “Used a Weapon of Mass Destruction against Russian Military”

March 1, 2014  11:43 PM EST — (TRN) — A significant earthquake has struck the Crimean peninsula in the Ukraine within the last hour and Russian military sources are claiming it was a deliberate attack by the United States using it’s HAARP Array in Alaska, in retaliation for Russia placing troops into the Ukraine.
UPDATE: The earthquake is confirmed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center HERE
According to sources on the scene, Russian military surveillance detected INTENSE bursts of electromagnetic long-waves prior to the earthquake.  They say the bursts were specifically timed and repetitive in nature, which caused a resonance in the ground, triggering the earthquake.
They claim this was a deliberate attack by the United States and are using frightening language to describe it.  One spokesman said bluntly “The earthquake in Crimea was caused by the use of a weapon of mass destruction by the United States against the Russian Army.”
The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is a U.S. Department of Defense research program jointly funded by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the University of Alaska, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Designed and built by BAE Advanced Technologies (BAEAT), its purpose was to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance. The HAARP program operates a major sub-arctic facility, named the HAARP Research Station, on an Air Force–owned site near Gakona, Alaska, as shown in the image below.

The main instrument at HAARP Station is the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI). This is a high power, high-frequency phased array radio transmitter with a set of 180 antennas, disposed in an array of 12×15 units that occupy a rectangle of about 33 acres (13 hectares). The IRI is used to temporarily energize a small portion of the ionosphere.
The IRI is used to temporarily excite a limited area of the Ionosphere. Other instruments, such as a VHF and a UHF radar, a fluxgate magnetometer, a digisonde (an ionospheric sounding device), and an induction magnetometer, are used to study the physical processes that occur in the excited region.
The HAARP project directs a 3.6 MegaWatt signal, in the 2.8–10 MHz region of the HF (high-frequency) band, into the ionosphere. The signal may be pulsed or continuous. Then, effects of the transmission and any recovery period can be examined using associated instrumentation, including VHF and UHF radars, HF receivers, and optical cameras. According to the HAARP team, this will advance the study of basic natural processes that occur in the ionosphere under the natural but much stronger influence of solar interaction, and how the natural ionosphere affects radio signals.  The antenna array necessary to accommodate this enormous power is shown in the close-up photo below. The IRI can transmit in continuous waves (CW) or in pulses as short as 10 microseconds (µs). CW transmission is generally used for ionospheric modification, while transmission in short pulses frequently repeated is used as a radar system.
HAARP is the subject of numerous conspiracy theories. Various individuals have speculated hidden motives and capabilities to the project, and have blamed it for triggering catastrophes such as floods, droughts, hurricanes, thunderstorms, earthquakes in Iran, Pakistan, Haiti and the Philippines, major power outages, the downing of TWA Flight 800, Gulf War syndrome, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
A Russian military journal wrote that ionospheric testing would “trigger a cascade of electrons that could flip earth’s magnetic poles”.
The European Parliament and the Alaska state legislature held hearings about HAARP, the former citing “environmental concerns”.
Nick Begich Jr., the son of former U.S. Representative Nick Begich and author of “Angels Don’t Play This HAARP,” has claimed that HAARP could trigger earthquakes and turn the upper atmosphere into a giant lens so that “the sky would literally appear to burn”.
“The History Channel” did a show on this topic, explaining exactly how HAARP could be used to cause an earthquake. A 3 minute segment of that broadcast appears below:
