HOLOCAUST LIST FOUND
This story was aired on
CBS on "60 MINUTES" about a long-secret German archive that houses a
treasure trove of information on 17.5 million victims of the
Holocaust. The archive, located in the German town of Bad Arolsen ,
is massive (there are 16 miles of shelving containing 50 million pages of
documents) and until recently, was off-limits to the public.
But after the German government
agreed earlier this year to open the archives, CBS News' Scott Pelley traveled
there with three Jewish survivors who were able to see their own Holocaust
records. It's an incredibly moving piece, all the more poignant in
the wake of the meeting of Holocaust deniers in Iran and the denial speeches in
the UN.
We're trying to get word out
about the story to people who have a special interest in this
subject. It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in
Europe ended.

Foreign Troops on U.S. Soil & the Coming Tribulation...
John,
I was having a discussion with a friend regarding the
current state of events. I am copying a portion of that discussion as a
heads up.
I was not assuming that this was the tribulation.
Otherwise, I would agree completely and would not have made the comment.
However, such an event would have such far reaching consequences across the
globe that it would likely precipitate a global crackdown necessary to
consolidate power, that we would find ourselves in the tribulation be default.
I agree that, if there is serious social
disturbance, it needs to be dealt with to maintain the peace. However,
bringing in foreign troops is a whole other matter. They have no affinity
to this country, it is not their home and they are effectively mercenaries on
foreign soil. Once they are threatened, they will perceive the public as
the enemy. There won't be the troops against the rioters... it will be
the troops against the public because they don't know who is peaceable and who
isn't... who is bearing arms and who isn't. Everyone will be seen as
a potential combatant.
This, in turn, will cause the opposite reaction in the
population, who will see troops as the enemy and not the protectors of the
peace. The clash will then be complete and unnecessary conflict will run
its course over time... unless the troops withdraw. The only way to
turn this around would be for U.S. forces to confront the foreign troops so
that the public sees that they have a protector that they can rally
behind. In any event, the destruction would be massive resulting in a
blood bath.
There really are enough U.S. forces to handle
riots. Of any country in the world, besides China and Russia, we
have the standing army in order to do what is necessary, without
resorting to foreign troops. The fact that they have resorted to bringing
in foreign troops removes all legitimacy of returning this country back
to its republic roots.
At first I thought that the foreign troops was an
NSA/DHS/FEMA ploy. But now that DHS has been gutted, why continue
with the smoke screen of joint antiterrorist maneuvers under FEMA? Maybe
the article is just more disinformation... but until the troops are sent home,
we don't know that. As long as they remain here, they pose a very real
threat to the republic. We wait and see.
I wouldn't have given this issue much weight, except for
Judith's dream and similar dreams posted by others of great destruction here
and foreign troops rounding up everyone they saw as a threat. That seems
to be the clincher.
Plus, we still have no release of the global realignment
of currencies. I just don't see the two events as being mutually
compatible. If someone is planning on invading a country, the last thing
you would do is release a huge amount of liquidity, as this only allows
the flames to be fanned with lots of spending for individual self defense.
Until these troops are sent home and we see a real vote
of confidence by the new powers that be, everything seems to be up for
discussion.

acting chief Danny Werfel vows to fix ‘trust’ in the agency
Danny Werfel, the acting Commission of the IRS yesterday told Congress that
he would fix trust in the agency. He has promised they would come in and
clean up the IRS. Really?
Haven’t we heard this before?
We are fortunate that the Republicans control the House of Representatives
or this scandal would have been swept under the rug as so many others have been
in the past.
Where do we take this from here? What must we insist the
conservatives do about the IRS scandal to make sure this really does not happen
again?
If anyone really believes that that Danny Werfel or for that matter anyone
in the Obama Regime really wants to restore trust in government, they are proof
of life after brain death.
Government is the enemy. We have repeated proof of that. Just
take a look at the poster child of government evil, Lois Lerner. Before
she was persecuting Tea Party groups under the Obama Regime, she was
persecuting the Christian coalition under the Clinton administration.
Werfel’s plea that he wants to restore trust is just the Regime’s way of
saying, “let’s move on and forget about this.”
We must never forget.
We must also make sure this never happens again.
There is only one way to do that.
Some conservatives are talking about abolishing the IRS and replacing it.
That is the problem.
You cannot replace the IRS.
That is the equivalent of giving someone aspirin for pain in the arm
without setting the broken bone.
The problem that gives rise to IRS abuses is the taxation
of income.
The left has always demanded the taxation of income. Go to any state that does not have a state income tax and what is the
left in that state demanding? They are demanding the state go to an
income-based form of taxation.
Why does the left have an almost religious obsession with the income tax?
It is simple. All the income tax does is provide for the easy,
endless expansion of government.
Do you know who have been the worst about seeing the income tax expand
government?
It has been Republicans.
Republicans have repeatedly voted to increase the size of government and
after Democrat administrations, they refuse to cut the increase in the size of
government. But that is not where the Republicans have really gone wrong.
Tax cuts are a mantra of the Republican Party. It is a good idea, as taxes must
be extremely low for there to be economic prosperity and freedom.
When Republicans cut taxes Democrats scream about the deficit. That is
the only time they are concerned about the deficit. What is the typical
Republican response? The Republicans tell people that cutting taxes will
boost the economy, which will in turn bring in more tax receipts.
They are right.
Every time we have cut taxes, revenues to the Treasury have
risen. What happens when revenues to the Treasury rise?
You guessed it. The politicians figure out new ways to spend that
money that is coming in.
The only way to break this cycle and to stop the endless,
easy expansion of government is to eliminate the income tax. The only way we
will ever prevent another round of IRS abuses is to abolish the income
tax. The only way we can restore “trust” with the government is to be able
to control the size of government and the only way we can do that is to abolish
the income tax.
This is the only answer.
Either we abolish the income tax, which does away with the need for or IRS
or we simply wait another ten years for another IRS scandal.

Congressman: Benghazi Survivors Forced to Sign Non-Disclosure Agreements
Virginia Republican Congressman Frank Wolf said Thursday that survivors of the Benghazi, Libya terror assault have been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements prohibiting them from speaking out about the deadly attack.“According to trusted sources that have contacted my office, many if not all of the survivors of the Benghazi attacks along with others at the Department of Defense, the CIA have been asked or directed to sign additional non-disclosure agreements about their involvement in the Benghazi attacks,” Wolf said on the House floor. “Some of these new NDAs, as they call them, I have been told were signed as recently as this summer.”
Wolf said that if accurate, “this would be a stunning revelation.”
“It also raises serious concerns about the priority of the administration’s efforts to silence those with knowledge of the Benghazi attack in response,” Wolf said.
The congressman said he was requesting from the CIA, Defense Department and State Department a list of all personnel or contractors asked to sign non-disclosure waivers.
“Perhaps through a list of all the employees that have signed the NDAs related to Benghazi we may finally develop a witness list to subpoena for eyewitness testimony to learn what happened that night where we lost four American lives,” Wolf said. “I do not expect the Obama administration to be forthcoming with answers, but if this Congress — if this Congress — does not ask for the information and compels its delivery the American people will never learn the truth.”

Earlier this
week, one Colorado town floated
the idea of letting its residents buy hunting permits for drones. Now, the
FAA has responded to the proposal by telling Americans to please stop thinking
about shooting down drones.
The proposal
itself sounds more like a clever way to get Rand Paul-type libertarians to
donate to a local government budget than a viable way to protect a town from
federal drones. According to the draft of the proposed ordinance, residents
of Deer Trail, Colorado could pay $25 a year for a drone hunting permit.
And there's a $100 reward for any successful downed drone, providing the
unmanned aerial vehicle's "markings and configuration are
consistent with those used on any similar craft known to be owned or operated
by the United States federal government." The man behind the Deer Trail proposal, who seems to be one of the few people in the town taking it seriously, knows the idea is against the law, but doesn't really care. Phillip Steel, speaking to CNN, said "Is it illegal? Of course it is. But it's also illegal to spy on American citizens...If they fly in town, we will shoot them down."
The FAA, too, is taking the idea very, very seriously, it seems. The agency, which is already behind schedule to meet a 2015 deadline for new regulations governing drone use in the U.S., released a statement reminding Deer Trail that the federal agency is responsible for regulating the air space over the town, and indicating that they'd enforce existing laws to punish any enterprising drone hunters in Colorado or anywhere else. Here's the AP, quoting from the statement:
A drone "hit by gunfire could crash, causing damage to persons or property on the ground, or it could collide with other objects in the air," the statement said. "Shooting at an unmanned aircraft could result in criminal or civil liability, just as would firing at a manned airplane."
But until the FAA integrates drones into the national airspace, however, the residents of Deer Trail won't have very much "game" out there to shoot down. The FAA hasn't been terribly transparent about the number of unmanned aircraft flights they've authorized in the U.S., but we do know of a few government agencies who do, or who have in the past, used drones to patrol American soil. The Customs and Border Protection, for instance, have stepped up their drone game dramatically recently, even conducting drone missions on behalf of other agencies. And a North Dakota town apparently used a drone on loan from the Department of Homeland Security to catch a cattle thief in 2012.

There are very few African-Americans who haven’t had the experience of getting on an elevator and a woman clutching her purse nervously and holding her breath until she had a chance to get off. That happens often.
Obama mentioned his white grandmother being afraid of black men on the sidewalk in his last speech about race, in 2008. That speech included much more on whites' racial fears — that affirmative action is unfair, or that their kids have to be bused to school across town. But this speech was focused on what African-Americans were feeling — that context and history were being ignored in the Zimmerman trial, the biases on display in the proceedings. As Jelani Cobb pointed out at The New Yorker, the prosecution based their case for second-degree murder on the idea that Martin was losing the fight, and Zimmerman killed him anyway. So what if Martin was winning? "[I]s an unarmed black teen-ager ever entitled to stand his ground?" And Obama addressed what has been the central question in the Martin case all along:
And that all contributes, I think, to a sense that if a white male teen was involved in the same kind of scenario, that, from top to bottom, both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different.
It's not that this is new ground. What's new is that a president is saying it.
