Ancient Laws of Constitutional Protection Shattered by TREASON

There are TWO important letters below written by Bob Lomas entitled: THE END OF A NATION and TREASON, THE WORD THAT DARE NOT SPEAK ITS NAME  in which he gives CLEAR and CONCISE detail about our ancient Constitutional law, the election of a British Monarch by its People for the People, its role and its lawful position in protecting us, as a SOVEREIGN FREE PEOPLE. All this knowledge has been deliberately hidden with smoke screens and mirrors and thus destroyed by acts of TREASON. This has finally taken place with the signing of SIX unlawful treaties by the Queen who, in so doing, systematically broke her Coronation Oath to the British People; giving away our powers and taking our nation into a Soviet style European Union which will ( jointly) head a FASCIST World Government. Our ancient British Constitutional Law is NO longer taught in our schools and, more importantly, in  LAW schools,  therefore no solicitor or barrister today understands the importance of or indeed that we have a British Constitution nor do they understand about Oaths of Office,  all of which have been surreptitiously stripped away

Our Constitution Law once protected us, the people of these Isles and indeed the Commonwealth from TYRANNY, this has now been shattered, we are now under the control of an administration called the European Union, with unelected officials who are unaccountable,  above the law, leaving the us British People in a country which will soon be a STATE of the EU, without a Sovereign/Monarch. The title of monarch is now in name only, the Queen is no long sovreign and therefore its a complete FARCE,  due to her actions and that of her ministers we are now at the mercy of tyrannical powers which have been developing since the Fabian Prime Minister Asquith committed the treacherous deed of passing the 1911 Parliament Act, bringing into being the FALSE and treasonous Automatic Consent. As stated by the late great Elisabeth Beckett  (see below image)  “Unfortunately this has been done both in the 1911 Parliament Act and in the Reform of the Constitution Act of 2005 when Blair and Lord Falconer took over the power we had given to the Queen for her lifetime.”

Elisabeth went on to warn:

“The fact is that the British people are now fighting a ‘war from within.

ENEMIES:

The strategy of our enemies is:

To abolish the Monarchy and all ordered government. 

To abolish patriotism and nationalism.

To abolish the family unit.

To abolish organised religion.

The intention is from there, to take over the world.”

The Monarchy has been abolished and exists in ‘name only’ as a titular farce, this has been achieved by the Queen’s indolence and acceptance, if you should write and ask her to confirm that she is STILL our Souverign Monarch, she will not answer. She participated in and  celebrated the signing of SIX treaties, the handing over of our nation to a ‘foreign power, ‘ this was a treasonous act and in complete breach of her Coronation Oath.

Just days before her death, Elizabeth came to the full acceptance that Queen Elizabeth ll had indeed betrayed us, her people, something she found hard to accept and wrote one final letter to Queen dated 21st January 2009, in which  she made the following profound and very important statement:

“I am old and now seriously ill. I cannot die without making clear to you,
that you have broken your oath to us your people.”

This, like many other letters Elisabeth had written to the Queen, was never answered or acknowledged.

In the the photo above,  Elizabeth hands over a letter to her local Police Sergeant, asking the Chief Constable of Penrith, Cumbria, to protect her rights under the Constitution, a  legitimate stance against an illegal tax system and treasonous government. This was a story that should have been on the front page of every newspaper, but as usual in such matters, it remained unreported in 2006/7.

In his letter (WSG 9.10.13) Mr Maurice Webb stated “..sovereignty is the inalienable birthright of the people, entrusted to the Monarch and administered by Parliament. The power of Parliament is not supreme but subject to oaths of allegiance under the British Constitution.”
In this Mr Webb is absolutely correct, he could have added that Parliament takes an oath of allegiance to the Monarch and through the Monarch to the British people, the Monarch and the people being as one. British coronations are both an election and a marriage. The gathered assembly representing the people in Westminster Abbey at the time of the coronation are asked if they will accept the heir apparent as our lawful
monarch and they have the lawful right to say nay, it is that which makes it an election.  If they say ‘yea’ the ceremony proceeds with the Monarch taking an oath, not rule or reign, but to govern the people according to their laws and customs and so becomes the official Governor of the nation and Head of the Executive. The Monarch then puts on a wedding ring that proclaims the marriage between the Monarch and the people.
The Monarch is then obliged to mount a Parliament and delegates the authority of governance to a political party of the people’s choice for a strictly limited period, but not the power of governance which remains with the Monarch and the people, thus the people maintain control over their Parliament. To ensure the Monarch, and so the people, retain absolute power over Parliament the Monarch on behalf of the people has the authority to dismiss all ministers and dissolve Parliament at any time during its short life, and to ensure this the Monarch is made Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces that by oath of allegiance are answerable only to
the Monarch and through the Monarch to the people.
From this it is clear that this nation is about the people and their elected Monarch, it is not about Parliament and the people. Parliament has no powers what so ever but it sometimes presumptuously speaks of  ‘parliamentary sovereignty’ and ‘the sovereignty of Parliament’ which is of course a nonsense as there can only be one sovereignty and that rests with the people.  All of this came to an end in 1972 when the Conservative Party mounted a political coup in Parliament and surrendered the people’s sovereignty, along with the supremacy of the Crown and our common law Constitution, to the then European Economic Community by signing up to the Treaty of Rome designed to create a single country called Europe. The Conservative Party further entrenched the offence by entering into subsequent European treaties and obligations.
In 1983 Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher signed up to the Single
European Act. In 1992 Conservative Prime Minister John Major signed up to the Maastricht Treaty which, among other things, forced EU citizenship on all British people making them, and including the Monarch, subject to the obligations and demands of that citizenship, all in absolute violation of the United Nations Charter of Human Rights to which we are supposed to be signatories. It also announced the abdication of the Monarch, there can be no sovereign head of state in a country that is no longer sovereign and no governor of a nation that is no longer self governing.
The implication for Parliament is this. As formerly Parliament drew its legitimacy from the Crown, with the surrender of the supremacy of the Crown,and the Crown is supreme or it is but nothing, Parliament ended its own legitimacy and so rendered itself an unlawful assembly. Since 1972 therefore this country has had no lawful governance and the political assemblies claiming to be governments have been no more than unlawful administrations for a foreign political power. We the British people now find ourselves subordinate to an unelected unaccountable political dictatorship, denied our law and any means of redress and forced to watch our social and economic structures wither away as draconian foreign law and a police state are surreptitiously built in our midst. Conservative Prime Minister and EU enthusiast David Cameron is reported to have said that next year we should widely celebrate the start of the First World War. For him of course that would seem logical, as it heralded the beginning of the
destruction of this once great nation and its eventual take over and absorption into the land of his forefathers.

It has been reported in the WSCT that Horsham District Council had questioned the validity of a meeting mounted by Steyning Parish Council claiming that the meeting was in breach of the Local Government Act 1st April 1972.   It seems that the HDC, like virtually everyone else, are unaware that on the 17th October 1972 the passing of the European Communities Act nullified existing English law, as under the ECA 72 European Community law became the supreme law of the land.   Under the terms of the Treaty of Rome which the Queen signed up to through her minister Edward Heath and plenipotentiaries MPs Home and Rippon, it was announced that English law could still be practiced but it would be subordinate to EEC law.   In reality however it was not that simple.
The signing up to the Treaty of Rome also meant the surrender of the people’s national sovereignty, together with the supremacy of the Constitution and the Crown which are supreme or they are but nothing at all.   This was essential to the purpose of the Treaty of Rome 1957 which was, and remains to this day, to create a country called Europe.  In effect it was an act of capitulation of the nation state to a foreign political power.  Since 1972 all has been hidden in and behind a smoke and mirrors deceit created to pretend that we are still a sovereign nation and so keep the people confused and ignorant of the truth in their incredulity.
The truth however is hidden in its own simplicity.   National law that is subordinate to a foreign law is no law at all.   Sovereignty by definition means complete and absolute self autonomy, one cannot exist without the other.  Up to 1972 Parliament drew its legitimacy from the Crown. With the surrender of the supremacy of the Crown Parliament destroyed its own legitimacy and became an unlawful assembly.  When the Queen agreed to the surrender of the nation’s sovereignty she effectively ended the monarchy, for there can be no sovereign head of state in a nation that is no longer sovereign or a governor of a nation that is no longer self governing; bearing in mind that the monarch is, or was, the official Governor of the nation, the government of the day being no more than a delegated authority accountable and subordinate to the monarch by oath and so through the monarch to the people.  Since the abandonment of constitutional constraint which was essential to protect the perpetrators of the treason, for that is what it was, there has been no lawful governance or legislature in Westminster, only an administration for the foreign political dictatorship that now rules the British people who fund it at the expense of their children’s education, health care, the old and the vulnerable, their national defence and the nations economic future.
Having been robbed of our birthright to be an independent people of self political determination we find ourselves a nation undone, a people living in a lawless political structure that makes for some people becoming disproportionately rich, in particular the new political class, whilst many people live in poverty and penury especially the old who in bloody conflict saved this country from previous European aspirations in the 1940s and rebuilt it in the 1950s/60s.  So who brought us to this sorry state and how?
Increasingly people are realising who it was and it was of course the Conservative and Unionist Party which has proved itself to be neither.  In the 1960s the Conservative Party worked towards a political coup designed to overthrow the nation state. The plan came to fruition in 1972 with the signing of the Treaty of Rome.  The Prime Minister at that time was Edward Heath.  Over the following years other treaties and agreements came along to further the aim of creating a country called Europe.  In 1983 Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher signed up to the Single European Act.   In 1992 the Conservative MPs Maude and Hurd under Prime Minister John Major signed up to the Maastricht Treaty that, among other commitments, confirmed that the British people had been made citizens of the EU whether they wanted to be or not, including the Queen,  thus confirming that the office of the monarch no longer existed and imposing upon her the duties and obligations of that citizenship.  No one can be both monarch and citizen at the same time.
It took the Russian people seventy years to rid themselves of the oppressive Soviet Union, and it might take the British people just as long to rid themselves of the oppressive European Union, but that is the price of people’s political neglect.   Fortunately the people are gradually realising that they have been deceived and robbed and by whom.  According to another WSCT report, the Conservative Francis Maude is claiming to be a ‘Eurosceptic’.   With the nation falling apart at the seams under the oppression of a foreign power, claiming to be no more than sceptical about it is typical meaningless political appeasement.   Maude, we are informed, is also claiming that his treasonous party is to hold a referendum on whether we should stay in or leave the EU.   More political appeasing clap trap.  Anything in fact to avoid having to admit that our joining the EEC flew in the face of our lawful Constitution, which encapsulates and protects all that we are as a nation state, including our national sovereignty.  Not even the British people themselves have a lawful right to decide on the surrendering of the nation’s sovereignty for it is not only our inalienable birthright but the birthright of generations yet unborn.   With this regard a referendum is not the answer especially as it could so easily be manipulated to dig our grave even deeper.
What is needed to save this country, and perhaps ultimately Europe, is a concerted effort to expose the illegality of our membership of the EU and the villainy and lawbreaking, especially the acts of treason that were perpetuated against the British people to bring about the destruction of this nation as a free, independent and sovereign people of self political determination, something oppressed people in many parts of the world are still fighting for at this very time, a democratic principle that is recognised world wide as having emanated from this country but now alas no longer exists within our shores.

Why General Patton Was Murdered by Eustace Mullins In December of 1984, it will be forty years since one of America's greatest heroes, General George S. Patton, was executed by his Communist foes. General Patton was struck down the day before he was scheduled to make a triumphant return to the United States. He had just been removed from his command of the Third Army, which was in charge of governing the American sector of Germany. Because he not only opposed the dismemberment of Germany, but also because he favored military action against the Communists. As the most popular hero of the Second World War, Patton would have been unbeatable in a Presidential race. This was the reason his skulking enemies ordered his execution before he could leave Germany. The Patton Papers, 1940-45 recently published by Houghton Mifflin Company in Boston, gives ample reasons for the murder of General Patton. A few months before he was killed, his driver for five years, Master Sergeant John L. Mims, was replaced. Patton was asked by Major General Gay to accompany him on an excursion for a few hours the day before he was to return to America. At 11:45 A.M. in clear weather and on a straight stretch of road, the driver of a GMC military truck turned his vehicle directly into the side of the 1938 Cadillac 75 Special limousine in which Patton was the only person injured. He suffered some internal injuries but did not seem to be seriously hurt. On Dec. 21, 1945, it was announced that he had died of an "embolism", that is a bubble of the blood which is fatal when it reaches a vital organ. It can be introduced into the bloodstream with a syringe by anyone with brief medical training. Patton was a vigorous sixty years old with enormous reserves of energy, who seldom needed more than a couple of hours sleep a night. Not only did the U.S. Army make no investigation into the "accident" which had put him into the hospital, but no questions were raised about his "embolism". On previous occasions when attempts were made to kill him investigations were made, despite the fact that he was one of the most popular and most powerful figures in America's history. He recorded in his diary that on April 20, 1945, while observing the front in his personal plane, which was clearly marked, an RAF Spitfire made three passes at his plane, which attempting to shoot it down, then went out of control and crashed. The story was later put out that a Polish flyer had been piloting the Spitfire. Patton was not injured. Patton's military exploits were such that he was the only American general whom the Germans feared. They transferred entire divisions as soon as rumors were spread that he was on a given front. The Germans' contempt for Patton's fellow generals was shared by himself, as he proves on many pages of his diary. During much of World War II, Patton survived repeated efforts of his fellow generals, as well as the British leaders, to get rid of him. In 1943, when he had turned the tide in Africa with his brilliant victories at Gafsa and Gela, Patton was removed from command after Drew Pearson printed a story that Patton had slapped a malingerer at a field hospital and called him a "yellow-bellied Jew." Eisenhower used this incident as an excuse to refuse Patton command of American ground troops in England, giving the command instead to Omar Bradley, whom Patton exposed as a cowardly dullard. We will never know how many casualties Bradleys' cowardice and incompetence cost us, but it must have been many thousands. Patton wrote in his Diary Jan. 18, 1944, "Bradley is a man of great mediocrity. At Benning in command he failed to get discipline. At Gafsa when it looked as though the Germans might turn our right flank, he suggested we withdraw corps headquarters to Feriana. I refused to move." Patton cited numerous other examples of Bradley's cowardice. As for Eisenhower, his references to him are always contemptuous. Patton refers to Ike as "Divine Destiny" but more customarily as "fool". On March 1, 1944 Patton noted in his Diary, "Ike and I dined alone and had a very pleasant time. He is drinking too much." Patton was extremely disgusted with Eisenhower's infatuation with his "chauffeur", Kay Summersby, and he persuaded Ike not to divorce Mamie in order to marry her. Kay Summersby was a British Intelligence Officer who had been ordered to prostitute herself to Ike so that he would send American troops into the line instead of the British. England had experienced such a terrible bloodletting at the hands of the German armies in World War I that Churchill and the other British leaders determined to sacrifice Americans wherever possible on the Western front. Although Kay Summersby secretly despised Eisenhower, she was a loyal British subject, and she successfully carried off the affair. It is estimated that she cost the United States 100,000 casualties which otherwise would have been borne by the British. Patton had noted in his Diary, July 5, 1943 before his successful African campaign, "At no time did Ike wish us luck and say he was back of us—fool." On July 12, 1944, Patton wrote in his Diary, "Neither Ike nor Bradley has the stuff. Ike is bound hand and foot by the British and doesn't know it. Poor fool." As a result of Patton's bold advances in France, Field Marshall Montgomery persuaded Eisenhower to issue one of the most amazing military orders in history. All of the Allied Armies must advance exactly abreast, so that no one (meaning Patton) would receive "undue credit." Throughout the war, Patton achieved his amazing victories by being in the field, whereas the other generals remained far behind the front in their dugout "headquarters" or in luxurious villas far from the sound of gunfire. During a press conference on May 8, 1945, Patton was asked, "Would you explain why we (the Americans) didn't go into Prague." "I can tell you, exactly," Patton replied. "We were ordered not to." Patton wrote to his wife on July 21, 1945. "I could have taken it (referring to Berlin) had I been allowed." Eisenhower's refusal to allow Patton to take Prague and Berlin, holding him back while the Russians occupied these critical capitals, remains one of the greatest performances of treason since Benedict Arnold, like Eisenhower, sold out to the British. Patton apparently was writing his own death warrant when he entered his frequently voiced opinion in his Diary on May 18, 1945, concerning the advisability of fighting Russians: "In my opinion the American Army as it now exists could beat the Russians with the greatest ease, because while the Russians have good infantry, they are lacking in artillery, air, tanks, and in the knowledge of the use of these combined arms; whereas we excel in all three of these. If it should be necessary to fight the Russians, the sooner we do it the better." The danger which Patton presented to his enemies was not merely that he was a great American patriot; he also was impervious to any sort of undue influence. He had married Beatrice Ayer, one of the wealthiest women in America. This made him financially invulnerable, and he was happily married, which made it impossible for him to succumb to the blandishments of foreign agents such as Kay Summersby. He opposed Jews and Communists, not only because they were enemies of America, but, because they were a lower order of human beings. He refers to the fact that the Jew is an Asiatic, devoid of feeling for human life. Shortly before he was killed he wrote in his Diary Oct. 1, 1945, "THE JEWISH TYPE OF DISPLACED PERSON IS, IN THE MAJORITY OF CASES, A SUBHUMAN SPECIES WITHOUT ANY OF THE CULTURAL OR SOCIAL REFINEMENTS OF OUR TIME." Patton was removed from command in Germany because he actively opposed the swarm of locusts, such as the recently recruited Soviet agent Henry Kissinger, who fought Patton to win control of the Military Government in Germany. In his Diary, August 29, 1945, Patton wrote, "Today we received a letter in which we were told to give the Jews special accommodations. If for Jews, why not Catholics, Mormons, etc." On August 31, 1945, Patton wrote to his wife. "THE STUFF IN THE PAPERS ABOUT FRATERNIZATION IS ALL WET. ALL THAT SORT OF WRITING IS DONE BY JEWS TO GET REVENGE. ACTUALLY, THE GERMANS ARE THE ONLY DECENT PEOPLE LEFT IN EUROPE. Patton noted in his Diary on August 31, 1946, "I also wrote a letter to the Secretary of War, Mr. Stimson on the questions of pro-Jewish influence in the Military Government of Germany." As a result of Patton's opposition to the Kissingers, who believed they had won the war and should rule Europe, a furious press campaign again was launched against him. A pro-Patton observer named Mason wrote, "The Daniell-Bevin-Morgan plot to destroy Patton was successful because Bernstein of PM was the most powerful force in Germany in 1945 because he had the support of Harry Dexter White, and Henry Morgenthau, Laughlin Curry, David K. Nile and Alger Hiss." On Sept. 29, 1945, Patton wrote to his wife, "The noise against me is only the means by which the Jews and Communists are attempting and with good success to implement a further dismemberment of Germany." Removed from command by the Jewish plot against him, General George S. Patton would have to return to the United States to work for the good of his country. It was to prevent this that a truck smashed in the side of his car in one of the strangest and most-ignored event in America's military history. Those who fight for America are always in danger, always thwarted by the plotting and the treachery of the subhumans whom Patton recognized and battled to the end of his life. What happened when an actor wanted to launch a political career and become governor? The whole news division of a major network surrendered itself, for one ratings-busting night, to a talk show.
Now that ex-governor, Arnold, born in Austria, apparently wants to change the law so he's qualified to become the next President of the United States.
As a resident of California, my memory of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is dim. He got fatter. He confessed to cheating on his wife and fathering a child with the housekeeper. He mainly carried on in the fine tradition of sinking CA deeper into bureaucratic muck and insolvency.
Muck is a requirement of the job.
Each new governor is guided into a secret room where, among heavily armed androids, he's told: "Your orders are to screw this whole state up worse or you're dead, understand?"
Several years ago, I looked into how Arnold won the governor's race. It all came down to his famous appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, where he announced that he was going to run.
I obtained a copy of show, watched it many times, and transcribed the dialogue and noted the audience reactions.
Breaking down the segments revealed what happens when news and entertainment and PR and political advocacy all blur together in a single wave.
The show had been hyped as the moment when Arnold would announce whether he was going to run in the recall election against California Governor Gray Davis.
The public anticipation was sky-high. No one seemed concerned that NBC was turning over its news division, for one night, to its entertainment division.
This was precisely the subject of the best movie ever made about television, Paddy Chayefsky's Network. That didn't register with the national media, either.
If Arnold decided to run, he wouldn't be announcing it at a stale press conference at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, after a brief introduction from The Snoozer, LA Mayor Richard Riordan. No, Arnold would obtain a rocket boost from Jay Leno.
Keep in mind that talk shows warm up and prep their studio audiences to act and respond with amphetamine-like enthusiasm.
And then that audience transmits its glow and howling racket to the wider television audience, thereby blowing an artificially enhanced event across the landscape.
On the night of August 6, 2003, Tonight Show host Jay Leno devoted two six-minute segments to The Arnold.
Of course, it was more than an interview. Jay had been touting this night as the occasion for a key revelation in the comic play called the California Recall.
Arnold would say yes or Arnold would say no. He would run for governor or he would decline.
Bigger than conventional news, Arnold strode out on to Jay's stage. A Tonight Show camera picked him up from a grossly complimentary low angle, making him appear even larger and more physically imposing than he is. Jay was positioned standing behind him, applauding, lending an affirmative gloss to the entrance. Already, it looked and felt political.
This was not a beginning; the impression was of something already in motion, a train to catch up with.
As the man of the hour sat down next to Jay, he commented that there was a big audience in the house ("Can you believe all these people here?") and, capping his first gambit, he stated that every one of them was running for governor of California. Ha ha. (At one point, there were 135 gubernatorial candidates.)
Quickly, Jay gets down to business. The business of making the evening extra-special: "Now, I don't think we've ever had this much press at The Tonight Show for any---[let's look at] our press room---normally [the press] sit in the audience."
Cut to a stark room, shot from above. About 40 reporters doing almost nothing at tables. Obviously, the room was set up for this event.
Jay cracks a couple of jokes about the press gaggle, lowers his voice and turns his full attention to Arnold: "...it's been weeks...and people going back and forth...taken you awhile, and you said you would come here tonight and tell us your decision. So what is your decision?"
Arnold replies, "Well, Jay, after thinking for a long time, my decision is..."
The sound cuts off, and the TV screen displays an old PLEASE STAND BY notice. Thick white letters against a background of an ancient station test pattern from the 1950s. A mechanical tone plays for several seconds.
The audience laughs. There is applause, too.
Cut back to Jay and Arnold. Arnold says, "That's why I decided that way." Big audience laughter.
Jay, going along---as if Arnold had spilled the beans during a momentary technical malfunction---shouts, "Right, good, right! I tell you I am shocked! I can't believe it! I can't believe it!"
Jay then starts out from the bottom again. "[Whether you're going to run has been] in my monologue...it's been good for, like, a thousand jokes over the last couple of weeks..."
Once more, he gently poses the question. "What are you going to do?" It's still too early for an answer, and Jay knows it.
Arnold wants another false start. He's planned it.
"Well, my decision obviously is a very difficult decision to make, you know...it was the [most] difficult decision that I've made in my entire life, except the one in 1978 when I decided to get a bikini wax."
Laughter, applause, whistles.
The studio audience warms to the fact that Arnold glimpses an absurdity about the whole proceeding.
"He's our Arnie, laughing the way we laugh. Hell, all we've got are laughs in this life, and our boy isn't going to go stuffed shirt on us."
An absolutely important confirmation.
Arnold then gives his rehearsed political speech.
He reflects that California was a grand land of opportunity when he arrived in 1968. It was the greatest state in the greatest nation.
However, now the atmosphere in California is "disastrous," he says. There is a "disconnect" (thank you, pop psych 101) between the people and the politicians.
"The politicians are fiddling, fumbling, and failing." Very big applause follows. The audience is doing its job.
Close by, off camera, we hear Jay thumping his own personal hand claps. The host is pumping his studio crowd and giving his seal of approval to a remark whose veracity is supposed to be tested by the recall election itself.
And there is a phalanx of teen-age girls screaming at a very high pitch in the studio. They're adding a major element of hysterical enthusiasm. Where did they come from? Are they a legitimate Arnold demographic? Were they pulled out of a Valley mall to paper the crowd? Do they migrate from talk show to talk show? From this point forward, they'll play a huge role in every audience outburst.
Arnold gathers steam. He tells one and all that the people of California are doing their job.
They're working hard.
Paying their taxes.
Raising their families.
But the politicians are not doing their job.
Now he executes a decent blend around the far turn: "And the man that is failing the people more than anyone is [Governor] Gray Davis!"
The crowd goes wild. The girls scream as if they're at a kiddie rock concert in the magic presence of four sixteen-year-old pretty boys. It's eerie.
And now the audience is suddenly on edge.
They can handle the juice. The longed-for result.
Arnold senses it.
He lets the audience-hysteria roller coaster die down and then, taking it up to heaven, announces that, he, Arnold is...
yes...
GOING TO RUN FOR GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA.
Boom. Bang. Pow. Zow.
The studio audience cracks the ceiling. Wilder than wild. The girls are shrieking walls of sound way above high C. Undoubtedly, the show is flashing applause signs.
Jay shakes his head and grins like a pro hypster who's just witnessed a very, very good variation on bait and switch. As if Arnold was supposed to say no, but now he's saying yes.
The Tonight Show band lays down some heavy chords.
Jay shouts, "There you go! There you go! That woke 'em up! That woke 'em up!" We cut to the press room, and sure enough, the reporters are now on phones, typing at their keyboards. The story is live and good to go. A global event is underway.
Amid the roar and the music, Jay, smiling broadly and wisely, shakes his finger at Arnold and says to him, "You know something?"
It seems Jay's about to utter, "That's the best damn switcheroo I ever saw!" But he doesn't do it. Instead, as the noise abates, he says it's a good time to go to a break.
The band plows into a funk riff, under the applause, and the show cuts to commercial.
The sea has parted. The consecration has been performed.
The ax felled the tree in the forest, and everyone heard it.
Marshall McLuhan rolled over in his grave, sat up, grinned, lit a cigar, and sipped a little brandy.
After the commercials, in the next six-minute segment, Jay and Arnold attain a few more highs of audience madness.
High one: Arnold mentions that 1.6 million Californians have signed the recall petition and are saying, "We are mad as hell and we are not going to take it anymore!" Wowee.
No one notices or remembers this line was made massively famous in Network, the bitter satire on news as entertainment.
Is it remotely possible Arnold recalls the 1976 Paddy Chayefsky film and its newsman, Howard Beale, who survives a ratings dive by delivering a delirious populist message on air, and becomes, for a short time, the most revered man in America?
Is it possible Arnold knows the TV network portrayed in the film gave its news division to its entertainment division---exactly what's transpiring right there, for the moment, on The Tonight Show?
High two: Arnold clarifies his message to all politicians everywhere. "Do your job for the people and do it well, or otherwise you're out. Hasta la vista, baby!" Zowee.
High three: After telling the crowd they all know Gray Davis can run a dirty campaign "better than anyone"---and that Davis has been selling off pieces of California to special interests---Arnold says with conviction and confidence, "I do not have to bow to any special interests; I have plenty of money; no one can pay me off; trust me, no one." Audience hysteria. They love that he's rich.
High four: Arnold says of Davis, "Everyone knows this man has to go!" Huge roar.
High five: Arnold plays a final pun card. "I will pump up Sacramento!" Yet another roar.
The band takes it out with more funk. Jay stands up and goes over and hugs Arnold, in profile, near his desk, and follows him closely toward an exit at stage left. Jay starts to whisper something in Arnold's ear, but pulls back and smiles and, still on camera, applauds Arnold along with the audience.
It's show biz in a bottle. Jay, Arnold, the crowd, the band, bouncing off one another and yielding the effect of absolute (synthetic) thrill.
The Tonight Show provided the moment for a globally famous actor to decide to run for office in the same state where the show originates. In the entertainment capitol of the world. In front of the clear prime-cut admiration of the host.
And the studio audience, that specialized creature from whose maw instant credibility can be coaxed and birthed in seconds---was very, very ready to go. All along.
Imagine an advance man pre-selling this kind of PR stunt:
"I know a guy who can introduce your message to the softest, wildest, water-cooler crowd this side of paradise."
"Oh yeah? How big a crowd?"
"Only a thousand or two. But they're instantly hooked up to, say, ten million people in the target area. It's as infectious as Ebola."
"Come on."
"And that's not all. I've got a host for that softest, wildest audience, and he has the whole world in the palm of his hand. When he exposes your message---for the first time anywhere---and when his audience goes nuts with glee, nothing will stand in your way. Your opponents will go down like bowling pins."
"Too good to be true."
"Wrong. And let me point out what I'm saving you from, you most fortunate of all mothers. If you tried to launch your message at a shopping center or a press club or a hotel ballroom or construction site or on a movie-studio sound stage, you could get laughed right out of town. Really. Because, let's face it, you do have a pretty vapid message when you boil it down. You need a unique venue, where the joke and the camp and the craziness are all folded into the event itself, and the shock and surprise and hoopla are integrated. You need an audience that celebrates bad and good jokes as all good, and the host has the ability to marry up every shred of this bizarre happening and take his crowd to orgasm. Talking multiple."
"And the contagion factor?"
"The audience in the television studio and the viewing audience at home are One. My boy, what stuns and delights the former incorporates itself into the living cells of the latter. The home audience is terrified of being left out. The host and his in-studio crowd give instant universal legitimacy to the moment. Believe me, it's irresistible."
"Like that McLuhan thing. The audience becomes the actor."
"Precisely."
That is how it happened. That is how Arnold S obtained his billion-dollar ad on Jay Leno, on August 6, 2003, and that was when he won the recall election. There was no counter-strategy for it.
Gray Davis was left with his putz in his hand.
The announcement of Arnold's candidacy was the end of the election.
In the aftermath, media pundits did not punch up this piece of mind control with any serious heat; nor did they immediately seek a heavy investigation of NBC's ethics in allowing the Leno-Arnold event to take place.
The Tonight Show was a perfect killing ground: Arnold, the earnest and powerful and Germanically jolly and occasionally self-deprecating soul, aware of the comic-book component of his success; Jay, the jokester, who can work as a homer and straight man at the drop of a hat; and Jay's audience, willingly propelled into the late-night nexus of "we'll laugh so hard at any old damn thing we'll make a cosmic celebration out of it."
Something out of nothing.
GE (the owner of NBC): We bring good things to life.
An election campaign message was passed, hand to hand, mind to mind, adrenal gland to adrenal gland, from a concocted, groomed, cultivated, prepackaged television studio audience to every voter-district in California, and out to the whole world.
When people show up in the studio to see Leno in person, they soon understand the game. They're not just there as happy onlookers. They're drawn into the process. They're offered a trade-off.
If they become active shills for the show right there in the studio, they'll become part of the story. They'll attain new status. Their laughs and squeals and shrieks and rebound guffaws, their revved-up salvational applause, at those moments when a guest segment or a joke is falling flat, will provide key segue and filler and affirmation and speed candy for the larger audience at home. It's a group collaboration.
Who cares---except when a fading movie action hero trying to roll a seven on his latest film suddenly says he's going to take over the reins of California?
In the television studio, and in millions of homes, the audience roared and helped Arnold go for his coronation. They experienced a reasonable facsimile of emotional torque and busted a move that showered sparks around Arnold's head and pushed him through a porthole into an ozone that just might have been the closest thing they'd ever find to immortality.
On October 10, three days after Arnold scored number one in the recall vote count, The NY Times ran a piece by Bill Carter headlined, "NBC Supports the Politically Partisan Leno."
It was merely about Jay, on the night of October 7, taking the stage in Los Angeles to introduce Arnold as the recall winner.
This was the issue? This was the barrier that Leno had crossed?
Jeff Zucker, head of entertainment at NBC, told Carter that he was aware Jay was going to introduce Arnold at the victory celebration. "I did not and do not have a problem with it," he said.
Zucker noted that Jay was a private citizen with all the accruing rights of same.
Not a word about the propriety of Leno hosting Arnold's campaign launch on August 6.
The Audience Party, on the night of August 6, 2003, fingered and chose and elected a governor of California.
Jay Leno has gone on to thousands of other jokes. But he'll never forget that one.

(The righteous in the City of Edom are asked to come out of her.  Elizabeth in her arrogance will be brought down as Father YHWH judges her.)

(As the old fiat monetary system is stripped of its power and shut down, NO ONE will participate in the merchandise of that old system anymore.  The City of Edom will be destroyed in YHWH’s wrath. )
