New Snowden Docs Confirm NSA's Role in Drone Killings

While the world is rightly concerned about the wholesale dragnet spying of citizens across the planet, another program has emerged which shows how "intelligence" gathered by the National Security Agency (NSA) is being used in a lethal manner.
Leaked documents from Edward Snowden in October revealed a secret unit of the NSA that was designed to process the communications of certain targeted individuals.

Chillingly, as detailed in the video below, this intelligence unit actually led to the confirmed death of Hassan Ghul, an alleged associate of Osama bin Laden. Now, however, new documents released by Glenn Greenwald and his new project The Intercept indicate that the targeting of individuals is far less precise than previously believed, leading to incorrect target identification and the documented killing of innocent people.
The NSA continues to assert the benign collection of "metadata" vs. the worry of the general population that actual conversations are swept up in dragnets and listened to. The new report from The Intercept indicates that cell phone metadata collection can have lethal implications:
An anonymous former drone operator for Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) told The Intercept — a new publication helmed by Glenn Greenwald, who broke the first of many NSA revelations last year — that the US military and CIA use the NSA's metadata analysis and phone-tracking abilities to identify airstrike targets without confirming their veracity on the ground. This use of signals intelligence (SIGINT) as opposed to human intelligence ground confirmation (HUMINT), is leading the CIA and military to order strikes based on tracking data alone. Although the source is anonymous, Greenwald states that leaked documents from whistleblower Edward Snowden confirm what the former drone operator is purporting, and is also supported by the testimony from Brandon Bryant, another former drone operator who revealed his identity.
The problems with assigning metadata to human targets are many:
One problem, he explains, is that targets are increasingly aware of the NSA’s reliance on geolocating, and have moved to thwart the tactic. Some have as many as 16 different SIM cards associated with their identity within the High Value Target system. Others, unaware that their mobile phone is being targeted, lend their phone, with the SIM card in it, to friends, children, spouses and family members.
Some top Taliban leaders, knowing of the NSA’s targeting method, have purposely and randomly distributed SIM cards among their units in order to elude their trackers. “They would do things like go to meetings, take all their SIM cards out, put them in a bag, mix them up, and everybody gets a different SIM card when they leave,” the former drone operator says. “That’s how they confuse us.”
As a result, even when the agency correctly identifies and targets a SIM card belonging to a terror suspect, the phone may actually be carried by someone else, who is then killed in a strike. According to the former drone operator, the geolocation cells at the NSA that run the tracking program – known as Geo Cell –sometimes facilitate strikes without knowing whether the individual in possession of a tracked cell phone or SIM card is in fact the intended target of the strike.
“Once the bomb lands or a night raid happens, you know that phone is there,” he says. “But we don’t know who’s behind it, who’s holding it. It’s of course assumed that the phone belongs to a human being who is nefarious and considered an ‘unlawful enemy combatant.’ This is where it gets very shady.”
The former drone operator also says that he personally participated in drone strikes where the identity of the target was known, but other unknown people nearby were also killed.

As the former JSOC drone operator describes – and as classified documents obtained from Snowden confirm – the NSA doesn’t just locate the cell phones of terror suspects by intercepting communications from cell phone towers and Internet service providers. The agency also equips drones and other aircraft with devices known as “virtual base-tower transceivers” – creating, in effect, a fake cell phone tower that can force a targeted person’s device to lock onto the NSA’s receiver without their knowledge.
That, in turn, allows the military to track the cell phone to within 30 feet of its actual location, feeding the real-time data to teams of drone operators who conduct missile strikes or facilitate night raids.
The NSA geolocation system used by JSOC is known by the code name GILGAMESH. Under the program, a specially constructed device is attached to the drone. As the drone circles, the device locates the SIM card or handset that the military believes is used by the target.
Relying on this method, says the former JSOC drone operator, means that the “wrong people” could be killed due to metadata errors, particularly in Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia. “We don’t have people on the ground – we don’t have the same forces, informants, or information coming in from those areas – as we do where we have a strong foothold, like we do in Afghanistan. I would say that it’s even more likely that mistakes are made in places such as Yemen or Somalia, and especially Pakistan.”
As of May 2013, according to the former drone operator, President Obama had cleared 16 people in Yemen and five in Somalia for targeting in strikes. Before a strike is green-lit, he says, there must be at least two sources of intelligence. The problem is that both of those sources often involve NSA-supplied data, rather than human intelligence (HUMINT).

The injustice being committed overseas is an extreme version that very well could creep into domestic NSA operations if the NSA is not thwarted.

TNT - Tony 2/10/14

Tony:  Good morning, TNT!   I just sent out a tweet so that people can get back on the call. It is February the 10th, 2014.  There is a lot of information, and regardless of what others way, I am going to be honest with you all.  I’m going to have to bring some people into the real world. Some will be disappointed and some will be elated when we get off this call.

This is where we’re at:  On Friday we were ready to go public, and we were asked to hold off on that.  I’m always ready to sit down and make a deal and make this happen.  I am not interested in drama, I just want us to get on with this and get on with our lives.

Over the weekend I got a lot of information.  I saw your messages and tweets, that you wanted to say or do something.  I cannot always tweet what is going on, because I have to let it play out.  As I was informed by my partner here, we started with four agencies and now we have eleven agencies listening to this and every other call.  We have now gone up to multiple countries listening to our call.  So I have to be respectful of what we get, and of the process.

We are still in the battle!  This is the situation:  I have to figure out how to tell you guys the good stuff and say it’s almost over, it’s here, but until it actually happens we need to remain vigilant and ready for battle.  We are supposed to be on the same side!  The battle is to be treated fairly.  I cannot have and cannot be a part of this… I got a call yesterday saying 19 people were arrested in two days by Homeland Security for threatening Congressmen and Senators.  That is dumb, to start with.  I keep saying:  DO NOT THREATEN ANYONE.  That is not what we are trying to do, and it won’t get you anything but arrested, like these 19 idiots.  Don’t do that, and especially don’t say that Tony or TNT told you to do that!  I never told you that, I only asked you to make sure your Congres people that currency has been exchanged.  We are not threatening them with anything except justice and exposure.  That was the worst part of what I have today.

The best part is that #WeAreThePeople on Twitter are now very well known. I am extremely proud of you all.  Mine is the name being cussed in Washington, and none of it would have happened if you weren’t out there, making a noise and letting these issues be known.  We have been getting calls all the time that they are having calls about you guys, and that is right!  WE didn’t let it go this far – they did!  We’ve been talking about it for two weeks, asking them to please stop the madness before it gets out of hand.  I say that on every call.  And I get calls asking ME to stop the madness, but we are doing what we need to do.  It’s getting done.  I’ve got the numbers and the times and everything else.  Things are positive, and when we leave this call they will be positive today;  until it actually happens, though, I will continue saying what I have to say.

As everyone expressed to me yesterday, they spent 13 years putting this together, and it’s at a very delicate position in the last ten hours.  It’s at a place where it could go either way and we could affect it either way. It’s a global situation, and we absolutely ARE involved.  It was not our intention to threaten anyone, not Congressmen, Senators, administration or bankers.  They took that very seriously, and we don’t want to do that.   We do have new rates that they have negotiated.  I’m not going to put those out, but I will say that there’s a real possibility that we will get a double-digit rate.  There are still 800 numbers, and we could be seeing those.  The process has moved on.  We should be at the bank right now, and we’re not, for a reason.

DC:  My own disclaimer – we are not about threatening anybody, we are just trying to get people to do the right thing.  We are attempting to help the general process for the general public.  When someone very high up says we are at a sensitive spot, your people are influencing things, and we don't want to screw this up.

Pam:  Aunt B has sent you a text, DC!  Right now, the GCR is in process around the world.  It will  probably take many hours, and we are there.  This is incredibly positive, and we are right with it, so let’s not risk it by screwing up now.  We are very much in play.

East Coast:  Iraq is leading the international RV through the IMF.  As well as China, many other countries are getting more backbone, and they are getting Iraq to line up with everyone else.  All the key countries and their people are in their offices until this is done. Everybody and their mother has everyone locked down until this is dealt with, and making sure they are there to answer questions, etc.  Presence matters, so having the people on the spot is great.

Iraq is helping all this along.  A large part of this weekend was about the US (with some help from Iraq, China, and senior politicians) pushing this across the line and deciding what to do with the public.  If dinar only can exchange at the international rate, what happens to those who cashed out at $32?  It’s not fair to do that, so how do we work with it.  Many are reminding the US that they had their chances to cash people out correctly, and they missed it.  However, higher sources suggest that the new contract rates and NDAs will be acceptable to dinarians.  Those politicos seem to have carried the day.  All the paperwork has been signed, the lawyers have checked everything, and all is completed successfully.

Many were expecting release last night, and then there were some last minute shenanigans that made the international community put their collective foot down.  It puts a negative feeling in the room when one party does that:  the others cannot trust that party any longer.  It took a little while to calm everybody down, but everyone is now back on the same page again and this is happening (at last).

The UN and IMF have both been helping.  In DC, the elderly statesmen have been helping, and so has the administration.  The UST is ready;  everybody is ready throughout the world and we are being notified that this is going down. We are getting this from four independent sources that are highly placed.   Thank you to the elderly gentlemen who have got this moving at last.

Tony: IMF has signed off, and the rate is international so far as they are concerned.  Maliki signed off again as well, and his friends are hanging out with him to make sure he stays on side.  BIS and CBI have both signed off, and they have signatures from Maliki, Shabibi and others.  Everyone is done, rate is locked in.  We have three rates for the IQN and two rates for the VNN.  You have to do and EXCHANGE, not an investment;  otherwise you will be treated differently.

It should have gone last night until one group said, “Let me try one more trick”, which upset everyone.  They calmed down, and we hoped you would be going to the bank this morning.  We thought the 800 numbers would be out by now, but this situation came out.

This is what I need you to understand, and I do know how a bunch of you are feeling.  All this happened last night – woke DC up and some other people – I was still up.  What I thought about all night was how to do this call, because now we are players in this situation.  This is what I say last night:  I’ve heard it all before.  We’ve heard it, seen it, been within three minutes of this thing being activated.  So what’s different?  Well, it’s the person we’ve been hearing it from, and it is NOT President Obama.  The person we are hearing this from is so respected around the world, and has given us insight into what is going on, and the part that we are now playing in this, that we had to at least say Okay.  I expected to wake up to this, but that person had to screw it up.  They’ve sorted it out and moved on.   But WeAreThePeople, because of our numbers and tweets, and I have to respect the person.  Hopefully the numbers will come out today, and some will get in today, but the majority will go in on Wednesday.  I am looking for something this afternoon.

Wednesday?  We’ve played that movie before!  Then we started getting this other information and also the level of the person who contacted us.  He is now listening to this call, so thank you.  I am seeing so much on Tweets and Facebook, and I have to tell you, this is a joint thing between Democrats and Republicans, both.   I am not in politics, and I am now doing this to protect the Democratic party, although I am a Democrat.  The Republicans wanted to seize this chance to move all five million of us and force the government to change this.  Lately, Speaker Boehner said that the American people don’t trust President Obama;  they are trying to push this in subtle way.  They have their agenda, and we have a different agenda:  to get paid out at a fair rate.

Even while we are on this call, I got a text saying “Speak the truth about the GCR and that the people will be completed fairly.”  This is another issue we have been asked to assist with: “This thing has to go smoothly when it goes.”  When it does happen, we will have to go back to the procedures laid out in December:  how to go to your appointments, and such.  Don’t threaten the bankers; a t this point, you know more than they do!  This is all coming out, and we should see it today or tomorrow.  I’m saying this We can give out the 800 numbers and talk about the process so it can be orderly.  , and the text tells me that they are listening even now.  I am saying all this as clearly as I can.  I want it to go and I want it to work, and I want to be 100% behind you and all of us.

The rates are … I think you will be able to live with the rates and the entire situation.  They are telling me this is what’s on the table to make us feel good about the situation.  I don’t want to say one thing and then find out it’s something else.  The rates, those who have already exchanged, the NDA…all that has changed.  There is a 90% chance that there will be no NDA at all, because there were too many complications and I would never have signed it.

We are in a really, really good spot to see what happens today.  The big thing I want you to know is that we can tip the scales.  We are being told not to do that because it’s coming out in a way that we will be very, very happy.  I don’t want to say something and then they turn it around again, and I have to come back and explain again.  I don’t want to do this!  As it was explained to me last night and this morning, I think you will be happy.  We fought the good fight.

To those who worked this out, I am thankful that the senior statesmen came in.  This way, every-body wins.  We’ll be able to grow the economy, help people in the US, and it will help people in all the other countries as well.  There are a couple of little things I dint’ tell you, but we’ll see how those work out.

DC:  After the GCR, there will be some changes in the world and at the banks.  Here’s a refresher on exchanging, both information and decisions to be made at your appointments.  On exchanging, we understand there will be on e800number you can call and go through. If you are doing it through Tier 2 banks, just make an appointment with them directly.  The people you will be talking to were no with us on this ride, and they may be upset because their banks were not keeping them informed.  These guys may be confused and resentful. Also, act like you are used to having money:  be quiet and respectful, clean yourself and your language, etc.

For those places with Delarue machine will credit your account immediately;  if they don’t, it will be counted and credited overnight.  You can ask them at the 800 numbers if they have a DelaRue machine. If you find that you cannot make your appointment, be sure to call the bank and cancel so that the next person can step up.  People on this call will be at the front of the line because you are getting the information first, so be respectful when you deal with people who are new to what’s going on.  There is a learning curve here.

Once you have the cash, set aside 50% for taxes, 40% for investments, and 10% for play.  We may well not have to pay 50% in taxes, but set is aside until this becomes clear.  Set aside 40% for investment and making money, and then 10% for the things you want to buy and do.  You can never send money too slowly, so take your time.  Also, you have to OWN that money.  Under-stand what they are putting you into, when your wealth managers give you advice.  I’m going to take five years to invest my money.  If you don’t understand the investment, don’t investment.

Tony and I are both high-risk guys and we live on the edge of things.  It’s brutal, and some cannot handle that.  You need to invest in a way that suits your personality. If you are conservative and just want some income, find advisors who work that way.  I pray this is our last phone call, so I just wanted to get all that out there.

Tony:  We don't’  know about the tax, so keep the 50% in mind.  Hopefully we will have another call this evening, and then we will have all the information.  We hear they are trying to work that into the deal to make it more acceptable.

Caller:  When are we going to say “that’s enough!”?  If this doesn’t happen by Wednesday, they will have just put us off again.

Tony:  It’s my understanding that everyone is now in agreement, and we are getting confirmation from much higher than our usual sources.  I think it will happen before Wednesday.  I believe what he’s saying in part because he called me in the middle of the night, he gave me details that we didn’t have before, and because he said we are having a huge effect on this process.  Good or bad, that is making people make some decisions they didn’t think they had to make. He also said there are things going on that we couldn’t see.  It was never my intention to affect our country and government in global terms.  The text I got in the middle of this call also makes me believe even more in what he’s telling me.  If it doesn’t happen by Wednesday, then he will have done his best, and we get to do our best.

Caller:  I wish you would give us the names so that they don’t end up back in office!

Tony:  I’ll leave that to DC!  {laughter]  Sometimes you just have to do some critical thinking.  What is the last time you saw 87 Congress people drop out in mid-term.  If they were just tired or old, they would have cropped out last year or last month. Then look on the people on the committees…. I am not going to give you names on a public call.  By November, we’ll know who to support and who not to support, regardless of their party.  I’m just looking for those people.

Caller:  I’m trying to understand all this, and now I’m speechless!  With all this going on, how do you think reserves will be handled?

Tony:  I don’t think there is going to be a problem;  I know they were trying to work it out for you.  Part of the solution for the people will include the reserves.  I have to wait until it’s finalized, then we will go over it and I will tell you the best way I would handle it.

Caller:  In terms of the international rate, is this attempt to satisfy the contract rate holding up the international rate?

Tony:  The international rate is being released, and most of the South American countries, a few of the Europeans ones, and some more Middle Eastern countries are showing the new rates.  They are giving the US a last chance to bring out the higher rates to satisfy us and do the right things with some other agreements.  Because we are waiting for those contract rates to come out, we aren’t get seeing the international rates, as yet.  The other countries can now go international without us.  That’s why what we say and do is critical at this point.  It could go either way if we do the wrong thing.  We will see it today or tomorrow;  the plan is for today.

Caller:  Will we see it on the forex exchanges today?  I am not seeing it yet.

Tony:  They have been authorized and released it, and now they are giving us a little time to get it right.  Someone tried to bring in something else last night, that upset everyone, and they had to get back into alignment after twelve hours of renegotiation. You are getting up to the minute information!  We are all looking forward to going to the bank!

Caller:  The NDA situation… it’s getting smoothed out, I think you said?

Tony:  Two different options they are looking at right now – either the simple five-page option, or no NDA at all.  Those are the latest two options we’ve been given.

Caller:  I know you cannot give the rates, but before you said $3.22 to $4, and then there is a possible double-digit rate, and a middle rate?  Will the middle one be the one we don’t have to sign an NDA for?

Tony:  They just texted me saying “Please don’t say the rates”, so I won’t.  But there may be NO NDA at all.

Caller:  Vin?  Is that still strong?

Tony:  Yes, it’s strong and I think those two are still linked at the hip.

Caller:  Rupiah?  Zim been taken off the table…?

Tony:  Still $1.08.

Caller:  DC, you are a rock-star, and we may have some rock-star t-shirts for you in Vegas!  We really appreciate all you bring, DC and Tony, and RayRen is a wonderfully eloquent preacher;  he was talking about ‘a virtuous woman’ yesterday.

Caller:  How are you today?

Tony:  I feel great!  All the news, but I’m still skeptical until it actually happens.  I know that is trying to be done, and there is still that one little faction that’s throwing in things last minute and upsetting everyone.  We should have a great day and an excellent week.

Caller:  Thank you for the excellent job you all have been doing. I have just been praying and standing on the Word, and hoping we will not have to go public.  I have been in this for three years, and my children have been with me.  I know that there are people in a worse situation than we are, and I pray that the people listening will just make this real for us.  Did Jamie Diamond play a role in this at all?

Tony:  Yes, he was in some meetings and listened in on one of our calls, to take our pulse.  He wasn’t fully informed until the last two weeks.  Everybody knows now, at every level, at least for all the Congress people who are involved in this part of the government.  If they don’t know by now, then what are they doing in Washington?!  All the bankers have had meetings, individually and together with their people, so they KNOW that the people are reacting this way, and after if that is what it takes.  So I think he is fully aware.

Caller:  Is that a good thing?

Tony:  I think that the banks and bankers didn’t realize how we would react and the level of information we would have.  They might have got involved at this point only to save their own necks rather than out of a realization that they were doing the people wrong…

DC:  CYA is part of it, but also I think they didn’t want to do something that was that morally indefensible.  Chase had a bad year in 2013, and they are trying to stay away from controversy and further fines.  It is self-protection, but also about realizing that when you get out of line, it will come back and bite you in the ass.

Caller:  Do you think that they are waiting until Wednesday because of the rates being posted on that date?

Tony;  No, they want to start slower and then ramp it up.  Even if they bring it out today, it probably won’t be fully in all the banks until Wednesday.

Caller:  When are you coming to Atlanta?  Our forecast says ice tomorrow and snow on Wednesday…

Tony:  Then I’m not coming!  With 2” of snow in Atlanta, you can’t walk down the street!

Next caller:  I have dong;  do we call the 800 numbers for that?

Tony:  I don't know.  If it has the same three rates, they will probably do those appointments together.  If you just walk into the bank with a lot of currency, they will probably send you to another 800 number anyway.  We are supposed to have a call this afternoon to get more information, and I’ll schedule a call or do a blast on the website.

Caller:  Are people still being paid?

DC:  My understanding is that payments were halted to get this sorted out.

Caller:  Anything to say about Soros?

Tony:  NO!  And quit asking me about him!  I’m not scared of him, but somebody doesn’t want us talking about him

I have a question for Tony.  I'm 62, graduating from High School in 1969.  I lived in a conservative state;  I won the draft lottery that year, and so I didn’t go but had lots of friends who did.  So thank you Tony for your service, and for the oath shared by you and DC.  In the course of these conversations, you allude to a certain group that is trying to hold this up.  Is this consistently the same group?

DC:  Over the past couple of months, it has been one main group.

Caller:  Can you expand on that, in a loving way, so that they can know they now are known?  We want to be able to say “We know it’s you guys!”  I’m sure they are monitoring this call…

DC:  I don’t want to screw this up.  Cooler heads have prevailed, and for that I am thankful.  Those other folks who want this money for their own projects, and I suggest they pay attention to those projects.   We are not saying their names today.

Caller:  We all suffer from selective hearing, so I want to make sure I’m clear.  The message to those people is this:  “we are standing down for the moment, and there should be shifts starting to roll out today.”  Is that correct?

Tony:  Yes, that is correct.  WE were asked to do something, and we believe in the person asking and their information.  The situation is delicate, and we want to give them the opportunity to do what they need to do and how they need to do it.  They are telling us that we will be happy with the results.  We don’t have to wait until Wednesday;  they say it will be full-blown by Wednesday.

Caller:  Do we still have only one appointment?  At the big five banks?  And I’m not sure about letting money leave my hands…

Tony:  I don’t know.  It all changed over the weekend.  The 800 numbers will be there, and you don’t need those to go to the Tier 2 and 3 banks.  There will be one number for the higher rates, I believe.  You will be able to ask them that question when you call the 800 number.

Caller:  If the exchange center doesn’t have a DelaRue machine, you always said you didn’t want your currency to leave your hands.

Tony:  I have always said that I will only do an exchange if they can check the currency right there and then, and I have a credit slip for how much is in my account. Not all banks have that machine and those other banks say they will credit you the next day.  That doesn’t work for me!

DC:  They will count your currency and give you an receipt for dinar, dong, or whatever;  they will authenticate it overnight and credit it to your account.  If you are not happy with that, then you might have to find a place that has the right machine.

Tony:  The zim is supposed to be looked at in June;  the rupiah should still be in the basket now.

Tony:  yes, it should be fully fledged by Wednesday, and we should know something by this evening.  Hold on, there is something I want to tell you.  “Live in Germany after banks close and they’ll be able to cash in tomorrow.”  That’s in Germany…

Caller:  That’s excellent news.  Like you said, we’ve all heard these things before.  This is very good news we have heard today, and I hope it is all real.  DC, you need to change your name to SS for Seattle Seahawks, the winning team!  Can you share the text you go from Canada?

Tony:  “The BIS says keep your eyes open.”  I’d love to tell you who this is in Canada because he deals with this, but he is excited!

Caller:  I hope it is real, and I hope we don’t have to go public.

Tony:  Me, too.  We will stay ready, and hope we won’t need to go public.

Tony:  No, but I would have liked him to!

Caller:  With international rate out, will the higher rate come out at the same time, or before?

Tony:  Yes, it should be at the same time, and that’s why we don't see it already because they are giving them that time.

Caller:  So if we put this out on FB, that might block that higher rate from happening?

Tony:  No, we could put it out on FB or the news, a lot of people could see that there will be investigations and all the rest of it…. There are many things going on in DC right now that you guys are directly responsible for, in terms of information and precedents.  It is directly related to people working in DC, and people who have decided they are siding with us.  Going public would add a whole other level of pressure that some people cannot or don’t want to deal with, and that will change the focus.  That is our purpose, because that tis the only thing we can do to make it fair.  So the info we got last night is that we are ‘this close’, and they’ve asked for the space to get this right and roll it out.

Caller:  So, it will be live in Germany – the banks are already closed there, right?

Tony:  There are banks with this just sitting on the boards.  Before, 8-10 countries went live to try to force this out, and before it got to the street level, and that forced some action.  This time, they may not turn it off – they may go round the whole world.

DC:  Germany is usually friendly to the US, and is a member of the G20, so this is a big deal.  It makes it easier for the smaller countries to follow as well.

Caller:  Anything new about people with over fifty million dinar?

Tony:  I don’t know if they restructured that or not, but we should know before the announce-ments are made. We should know this evening and we’ll be able to go through it.  Originally, that part wasn’t going to be public information – just at a certain level people would walk into the bank and find that out.  It became public because we found out and we told you.  If we get to a certain level of information, we don’t want to put out anything that will cause them to change the plan. I know it will be a certain rates for a certain number of days, but I cannot put that out on a call because they would change it again. So don’t expect me to say any of that out loud. I  will try to help as much as we help.  If there is no NDA, we can help a whole lot!  If there is an NDA, I can only do what it allows me to do.

423 caller:  DC, you said it was being released one country at a time?

DC:  No, it’s not one country at a time.  If you are referring to Germany, a lot the bank systems are set up like wedding cakes:  their particular central bank gets it, and they push it down to their banks.  The US has eleven different layers, so it’s much more complicated.  Most countries have two layers, and so they can move quickly to the bank level.  If we can confirm the deal in Germany, then it tells us it is moving worldwide.  If that is true, they are getting the entire world rolled out, and that will include the US.

Caller:  How can there not always be one more thing to be adjusted?  We’ve been there so many times before.  Are we now at the place of authority where they are really saying “this is it”?

DC:  I do.  This authority is much higher than all my sources, but I’ve been getting similar info throughout the day and this weekend. We are talking about different levels, but it all matches up from different levels;  we have eleven confirmations of part or all of what this is.

Tony:  It sounds really, really good, and we want it to go, but it hasn’t gone.  No matter what other countries are doing, we don’t go until it actually happens here.  Supposedly right now, at this moment, everybody is in agreement.

DC:  Everybody wins with this (apart from lost time);  no matter what political party, you have more money coming into the system, and a growing US economy that will make the rest of the world’s economy will grow as well.  This is a wonderful thing that they want to get done;  they just want to eek out their own little projects before it gets done.

Caller:  Why does the information about the NDA have to be secret?

Tony:  I’m not sure there will be an NDA or not.  I understand they are looking at two options:  the simple original one, or no NDA at all.  A factor is how we respond – whether they need it for their protection.  I would love to tell you it’s not going to be there, but I don’t know that for a fact.

Caller:  I don’t understand how an NDA could work if it’s only for those signing at the contract rate.  Those who exchange at the international rate will not need an NDA.  They might need an NDA for anything above the international rate.  I might sign the initial one, if that is what they have reverted to.  I have some issues with the 14-page and 19-page NDA.  Under these circs, and if it is what they are telling me it is, I would not have a problem signing the shorter NDA.  I am not doing a book or film, I just want to get on with my life!   Thank you so much!

Tony:  I want to thank all you guys;  you all played a par tin this, especially in the last two months and the changes we are seeing today.  I think that if we hadn’t got together and expressed how we feel, then it wouldn’t have made the difference that you have.  Other sites didn’t gather the information or cultivate the sources, but they will see the benefits of what is happening now.  Let’s be grateful to the guys who had the meetings this weekend and decided to work it out.  I  cannot go online and tweet every time something changed because that would expose some people who are supporting the process.  I only want to give you solid information that is making a difference. February 6, 2014 -- (TRN) -- Edward Snowden, the former contractor at the National Security Agency took with him multiple "Doomsday" packages of information when he departed the country and began revealing how intensely the US Government is spying on its own citizens. He has the personal home info for all Elected Officials, Law Enforcement, Judges, Bankers, Corporate Boards of Directors and more!


At a classified briefing for members of Congress which took place on Wednesday, members found out that Snowden took with him:
  • a complete roster of absolutely every employee and official of the entire US Government.
  • The names, home addresses, unlisted personal home telephone and personal cellular phone numbers, dates of birth and social security numbers of every person involved in any way, with any department of the US Government.
  • The files include elected officials, Cabinet appointees, Judges, and  **ALL** law enforcement agency employees including sworn officers.
  • Similar files with the personal information of EVERY government contractor and all employees of that contractor!
  • Similar files with all the personal information of EVERY Bank Corporation, their operating officers and their Boards of Directors, including all current and former members of the Federal Reserve
  • Similar files with all the personal information about anyone holding any type of license from the Government such as Doctors, Lawyers, Stock Brokers, Commodities Traders . . . . and many more.
  • Similar files with all the personal information of EVERY non-bank Corporation in the U.S., including their operating officers and Boards of Directors.

Snowden has made it clear that if he is arrested, if he vanishes, or if he "dies" from any cause whatsoever, ALL of the information in his possession will be published publicly.

TRN has confirmed that, working through Julian Assange  and his "WikiLeaks" organization, copies of the encrypted data have already been distributed to more than one-thousand, two hundred (1200) web sites around the world.  Those sites have agreed to conceal the information until such time as contact with Snowden is "lost."  Once contact is lost, the sites have been told they will receive the Decryption keys via CD ROM, E-mail and P2P / Bit-Torrent file transfer.  Once the decryption keys are sent, the sites have been instructed to wait a specific amount of time to confirm Snowden's disappearance, arrest or death and upon expiration of that time period, to publish the decrypted materials.

Making the situation all the more dire for the government is that Snowden has made clear he will release some of the information under certain "other" circumstances.  For instance, if Martial Law is declared in the US or if any elections are canceled for any reason, all the government employee info goes out.  If an economic collapse takes place, all the Banker/Stock Broker/Commodities Trader information goes out.  If Corporations start hyper-inflating prices, all the information about them, their officers and Board of Directors will go out.

Snowden literally has the most powerful people in the United States in an inescapable stranglehold.  If any of the things articulated above take place, everyone throughout the country will know exactly who to blame and exactly where they live.   One can only speculate that under the right conditions, it might not be long until those responsible for the problems of our country, faced consequences for their actions; consequences delivered one at a time, in the dark of night, when there is no help . . . . and no escape.

Leading members of the House Armed Services Committee emerged from the classified briefing “shocked” at the amount of information he reportedly took with him beyond the NSA surveillance programs.

Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Texas), chairman of the Armed Service panel’s Intelligence, Emerging Threats and Capabilities Subcommittee and also a member of the House Intelligence Committee, said the briefing on the defense consequences of Snowden’s leaks was “very highly classified,” and therefore details couldn’t be discussed.

Thornberry did say that lawmakers “left the briefing disturbed and angered” after hearing that the leaks by the former Booz Allen Hamilton employee “went well beyond programs associated with the NSA and data collection.”

He characterized the leaks as so severe that they “compromise military capability and defense of the country” and “could cost lives” — while they “will certainly cost billions to repair.”

“His actions were espionage, plain and simple,” Thornberry said.

Armed Services Chairman Buck McKeon (R-Calif.) read his statement rather than making comments on the fly “because of the seriousness of this issue and the sensitivity” of the information they’d just heard.

“Ed Snowden isn’t a whistleblower; he’s a traitor,” McKeon said.

No matter what opinion people hold of the data collection programs, he added, people should be “shocked and outraged to find that a substantial amount of the information has nothing to do with the NSA.”

The evidence is clear: Fukushima radiation is still tearing up West Coas...

"Every single day, 300 tons of radioactive water from Fukushima enters the Pacific Ocean," writes Snyder about this one major sign. "That means that the total amount of radioactive material released from Fukushima is constantly increasing, and it is steadily building up in our food chain."

Radioactive debris mass the size of California still impacting West Coast

Another obvious sign is the recent mass migration of radioactive debris the size of California across the Pacific Ocean. BBC News in the U.K. reported last year that literally millions of tons of radioactive debris had begun traveling across the Pacific Ocean, and that some of it had already impacted Hawaii and even the West Coast.

There has also been a series of strange animal deaths recently, including masses of sea lions, sockeye salmon and other sea creatures washing up on the shore. Many of the polar bears, seals and walruses observed along the Alaska coastline have also been found to have major fur loss and open sores, both of which are indicative of radiation poisoning.

Then we have the scientific reports that claim radioactive water will continue to impact the U.S. West Coast for many years to come, potentially doubling in strength over the next five or six years. Plankton, bluefin tuna and other sea life collected between Hawaii and California are already testing high for radiation, and these levels are expected to continue increasing.

"Look at what's going on now: They're dumping huge amounts of radioactivity into the ocean -- no one expected that in 2011," stated Daniel Hirsch, a nuclear policy lecturer at the University of California-Santa Cruz recently to Global Security Newswire. "We could have large numbers of cancer from ingestion of fish."

Initial Fukushima radiation release more than 100 times larger than Chernobyl, confirms study


There will most certainly be a major uptick in cancer rates due to the Fukushima incident, as the Japan Meteorological Agency's Meteorological Research Institute estimates that some 60 billion becquerels of radioactive cesium and strontium are being dumped into the Pacific Ocean every single day. The Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) also admits that as much as 40 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium have been released into the Pacific since the disaster began.

Those who still say that the Chernobyl disaster was worse than Fukushima may also want to consider that a Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution study conducted in October 2011 concluded that Fukushima had already released up to 100 times more radiation into the environment than Chernobyl at that time. Today, this amount is likely astronomically higher, especially when you take into account all the airborne radioactive plumes that have been detected billowing across the ocean and over U.S. soil.

.S. Attorney General Eric Holder will step down this year, he said in an interview with the New Yorker’s Jeffrey Toobin in the magazine’s Feb. 17 edition.
In a feature article, Mr. Holder said he plans on staying in his position “well into” the year.
Last November, Mr. Holder, the first black attorney general, told CBS News he didn’t have “any plans” to step down.
Mr. Holder has made voting rights the test case of his tenure, the New Yorker reported. He has been a vocal critic of the Supreme Court case that invalidated key parts of the Voting Rights Act and has supported Congressional action to renew and revise the law.
During his five years as the nation’s top law enforcement officer, Mr. Holder has also weighed in on other controversial Supreme Court decisions. Mr. Holder said he wouldn’t defend the Defense of Marriage Act in court and over the weekend announced the Department of Justice’s plans to give same-sex couples the same rights in the federal legal system as married heterosexual couples, regardless of whether a state recognizes same sex marriage.

There can be absolutely no doubt that one of the most enigmatic, mysterious and powerful figures of the 20th century was Howard Hughes. Born on Christmas Eve in 1905, in Humble, Texas, Hughes displayed a brilliant flair for aviation and new and novel aircraft designs – to the extent that in 1932 he created the Hughes Aircraft Company, which was noted for its work in the fields of aircraft, missiles, and NASA’s space-probes.
Despite his brilliance, Hughes was plagued by psychological conditions that blighted his life, including obsessive-compulsive disorder – something which played a major role in his descent into a definitive “reclusive eccentric” state. And then there were Hughes’ ties to the secret world of U.S. Intelligence and…the UFO phenomenon.
In 1977, an astonishing book, The Hughes Papers by Elaine Davenport, Paul Eddy and Mark Huwitz, was published, and disclosed a wealth of hitherto unknown material pertaining to Hughes, including his deep associations with none other than the CIA.
Moving on, there are a number of intriguing issues that link Hughes to the UFO subject. The earliest – and certainly the strangest – story suggesting a Hughes-Flying Saucer connection can be found in the FBI’s n0w-declassified files on UFOs, all of which are online at the Bureau’s website, The Vault. Contained within the approximately 1,700 pages of documentation is a very curious letter that was sent to the FBI’s Chicago office by a source unknown.
The letter is dated July 31, 1950 and reads as follows:
“Since we are on the brink of a third world conflict, the world is more air conscious than ever. Aviation in some phases is yet in its pioneering days. Much talk goes on about the flying saucers or discs. The saucer we speak about is not a military secret, and is not yet owned by the government. The flying saucer which was seen over south Chicago last April is a large fuel tank with crystal glass wings.”
The writer continued: “It has two large jet engines on both sides. It is radio controlled. It resembles a saucer very much when in flight. The wings cannot be seen on a clear day. This is so it is a most difficult target for anti aircraft gunners. The reason for the large flat gas or fuel tank is to give the ship a long range for atomic bombing.”
The letter then reveals something very illuminating (if true, of course): “The ship was financed by Howard Hughes, millionaire aviation enthusiast. It is now being tested by the Glen F. Martin Aircraft Co., makers of the Martin Marauder. The craft is only made for one way trips. It has a range of 4,000 miles, ceiling of 25,000 feet, and a speed of 750 miles per hour.”

The Bureau’s informant also noted: “So far only a few of these craft have been made, and they usually are pitched in the lake or ocean as they cannot be landed. They are merely to carry a bomb of high destruction to enemy country. They have no wheels, but small steel rails on the bottom from which they take off. All other mechanics can be explained in detail.”
And, in closing, the FBI’s source explained that: “The man who welded the ship says it is by far the best long range bombing instrument he has ever seen. The name of the ship is the ‘Danse Macabre.’”
Then there is the notable saga of Howard Hughes’ associations and friendship with one of the most well known of all the “Contactees” of the 1950s: George Van Tassel. Prior to becoming a major player in Ufology, Van Tassel spent time in the 1940s working for Hughes Aircraft. He did far more than that, however. While employed by Hughes Aircraft, Van Tassel acted in an assistance capacity to none other than Howard Hughes himself.
As a demonstration of the fact that Hughes and Van Tassel were good friends, on many occasions Hughes flew into the Giant Rock, California area, where Van Tassel held his near-legendary UFO conventions from the 1950s to the 1970s. The reason: to specifically to hang out with Van Tassel and his wife, Eva, and to indulge in the tasty pies that Mrs. Van Tassel made and which Hughes apparently loved!
Moving onto 1964, it’s time to look at a potential connection between Howard Hughes and the famous “UFO landing” at Socorro, New Mexico in April 1964. Rich Reynolds, a long-time, well-respected researcher of the UFO phenomenon, has suggested the possibility that the strange craft seen by police officer Lonnie Zamora on that fateful day in Socorro was not an alien spacecraft, after all.

In an article titled Howard Hughes: Socorro (and Roswell?), Reynolds says: “UFO buffs and investigators have overlooked the Hughes connection to U.S. military testings of prototypical space vehicles, one of which we contend is what Lonnie Zamora saw in Socorro in April 1964.” As Reynolds also notes, both Hughes’ Tool Company and Hughes Aircraft “were employed by the U.S. military to devise various space craft and satellite equipment, including lunar landing modules in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s.”
Howard Hughes died on April 5, 1976, while being flown to Houston, Texas, for emergency medical treatment. He was a shell of his former, handsome self. The man who dated numerous Hollywood actresses, including Olivia de Havilland and Ava Gardner, was down to less than 100 pounds in weight at the time of his death. His hair was long and straggly, and his arms were riddled with needle marks. Hardly the best way to make an exit.
Was Howard Hughes really plugged deep into the world of the UFO? Right now, we have a few strands, a couple of thought-provoking leads, a few pieces of documentation, and that’s it. But, where there’s smoke, there is very often fire, too. Methinks someone out there should take a closer look at Mr. Hughes and his UFO associations. The strangest of all aspects of the man’s life may still be waiting to be uncovered…
