Jim was amazed that David Rockefeller admitted he was part of a "secret cabal" for "one world," and he wondered why the press/media had not picked up on this. I told Jim that David Brooks in THE NEW YORK TIMES had written a long book review about Rockefeller's book, but nowhere in it did he mention the "secret cabal" quote. I went on to say that I tried to get a USA TODAY reporter who had written about the Bushes and Skull & Bones to write about what Rockefeller had said, but he declined.
I explained to Jim that we have not really had an independent press for a long time, and I quoted John Swinton (editorial page editor of THE NEW YORK TIMES, 1860-1870) as saying to a gathering of journalists at the Twilight Club in New York City on April 12, 1883: "There is no such thing in America as an independent press, unless it is in the country towns. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dare to write his honest opinions, and if you did you know beforehand they would never appear in print....The business of the New York journalist is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vililfy. to fawn at the feet of Mammon....You know this an I know it, and what folly is this to be toasting an 'independent press.' We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping-jacks; they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."
Following this, I gave Jim 4 examples from the 20th century to back up my point. On February 9, 1917, U. S. Rep. Oscar Calloway inserted the following statement in the CONGRESSIONAL RECORD: "In March 1915 the J. P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interests, and their subsidiary organizations got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press of the United States. These twelve men worked the problem out by selecting 179 newspapers, and then began, by an elimination process, to retain only those necessary for the purpose of controlling the general policy of the daily press throughout the country. They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of twenty-five of the greatest newspapers. The twenty-five papers were agreed upon; emissaries were sent to purchase the policy, national and international, of these papers; an agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information...."

J. P. Morgan was the banker in the United States who was helping to facilitate Cecil Rhodes' secret Society of the Elect's plan to "take the government of the whole world." And Rhodes wanted to control four mail aspects of life---politics, economics, education, and journalism. Therefore, Morgan's takeover of the press in this country was toward the fulfillment of Rhodes' plan.
The second example was from Christopher Hobhouse's OXFORD AS IT WAS AND IS TODAY (1939), in which he revealed: "It is the Editor of THE (LONDON) TIMES and his circle of associates...(who) elect to consider themselves the powers behind the scenes. The duty of purveying honest news is elevated in their eyes into the prerogative of dictating opinion. It is at All Souls (College, Oxford University) that they meet to decide just how little they will let their readers know."
The third example is from Herman Dinsmore (foreign editor of THE NEW YORK TIMES from 1951 to 1960), who wrote in ALL THE NEWS THAT FITS (1969) THAT "THE NEW YORK TIMES today is deliberately pitched to the so-called liberal point of view....Positively and negatively, the weight of THE (NEW YOK) TIMES has generally fallen on the side of the communists since the end of World War II." Four years after Dinsmore's book was published, Power Elite member David Rockefeller in the August 10, 1973 NEW YORK TIMES wrote a glowing op-ed article praising the Communist dictator Chairman Mao, even after most people knew he had killed millions of his own innocent people.

Rockefeller was chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) from 1970 to 1985 and chairman emeritus since then. And, as example number four, in the October 30, 1993 edition of THE WASHINGTON POST, that newspaper's ombudsman, Richard Harwood, described the role of the CFR's press and media members in the following manner: "Their membership is an acknowledgment of their ascension into the American ruling class (where) they do not merely analyze and interpret foreign policy for the United States; they help make it."
Rockefeller once told Congressman William Dannemeyer that some men are born to rule, but most men are born to be ruled. Power Elite member Rockefeller was and is helping to facilitate fellow Power Elite member Cecil Rhodes' plan for world control, including the use of journalism via the journalists' CFR membership.

  • Thomas Gilbert, 70, was allegedly shot in the head by Thomas Gilbert Jr, 30, at his $6,000-a-month Manhattan home, according to police sources
  • Gilbert Sr founded $200million hedge fund Wainscott Capital in 2011
  • Father and son were discussing 'differences in their relationship' before shooting, according to reports
  • It is believed that the 30-year-old sent his mother out to get him a sandwich so she would not be in the home at the time, according to reports

  • Gilbert Jr, who attended $50,000-a-year school, arrested on Sunday night after barricading himself in his Chelsea apartment
  • NYPD have not named Gilbert Jr as a suspect and have not ruled out the possibility of suicide

A 30-year-old Princeton graduate, who allegedly shot dead his multimillionaire hedge-funder father, was upset that his weekly allowance had been cut back, according to published reports.
Tommy Gilbert Jr, a former pupil of Manhattan's most prestigious private schools, was being questioned by police on Monday after 70-year-old Thomas Gilbert Sr, founder of $200 million hedge fund Wainscott Capital, was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
A source told the New York Daily News that Mr Gilbert Sr had cut back Tommy's weekly allowance to $300 and threatened to stop paying his rent.
Gilbert Jr lives in a one-bedroom apartment in Chelsea where, according to listings, guarantors were accepted on the $2,400-a-month rent.

The Ivy Leaguer, who was a regular fixture at Manhattan's black-tie benefits with society beauties on his arm, reportedly slipped past the doorman and into his parents' building shortly before the attack at 3.30pm on Sunday.
According to The New York Post, Gilbert Jr went to his parents' eighth-floor apartment and asked his mother to leave to get him a sandwich.
The father and son were discussing 'differences in their relationship', according to The Wall Street Journal.
Gilbert Sr's wife Shelley, 67, found her husband dead in the bedroom within minutes of the alleged attack and called 911, police said.
According to a Daily News report, he had the gun on his chest in an alleged attempt to make it look like suicide.
Gilbert Jr was then seen walking out of the building in Manhattan's Turtle Bay area covering his face with a hoodie around 3.35pm, the New York Daily News reported.
The 30-year-old was found in his ground-floor apartment at 10.30pm on Sunday, after he fled from his parents' home in midtown, multiple media outlets claimed, citing police sources.

Police recovered a Glock 22 .40-caliber handgun from the scene.
At 10.30pm on Sunday, Gilbert Jr was arrested without incident at his apartment after NYPD officers dressed in riot gear, chopped down the door and found him hiding inside.
He was taken to the 17th precinct in midtown.
Gilbert Jr was being questioned and has not been named a suspect, according to the NYPD. Police have not ruled out the possibility of suicide prior to a report from the city's medical examiner.

The NYPD have not released details of a potential motive.
A spokesperson told Daily Mail Online on Monday that the investigation was ongoing.
Gilbert Jr had a lawyer and was refusing to speak to detectives. He was expected to be charged, The New York Post reported on Monday.
Thomas Gilbert Sr started Wainscott Capital in 2011, growing the fund to a value of $200 million.
He attended Princeton and Harvard Business School before a 40-year career on Wall Street.  According to Wainscott Capital's website, he had extensive knowledge of the stock market, private equity, real estate and the fixed income market.
His son, Tommy Gilbert Jr, attended The Buckley school on Manhattan's Upper East Side from kindergarten until eighth grade. Tuition costs around $35,000 a year.
Noteable alumni of the school include actor James Harder, philanthropist David Rockefeller Jr and Robert Wagner, former deputy mayor of New York.
He then went on to the $50,000-a-year Deerfield Academy in Western Massachusetts, which counts the King of Jordan and Prince of Jordan among its alumni.
After graduating from Deerfield in 2003, Gilbert Jr accepted a place at Princeton University where he graduated in 2009.
A friend told Daily Mail Online on Monday: 'He was a really nice person. He was smart, athletic and he went to Princeton.
'He took some leave of absences from Princeton which is why it took him so long to graduate. He must have been really angry to do something so out-of-character.'
A classmate, who attended Deerfield with Gilbert Jr, also said: 'Tommy was my classmate. This story is an incomprehensible tragedy. My heart goes out to the entire Gilbert family.'
Details of Gilbert Jr's profession remain unclear but he was photographed on multiple occasions at black-tie society events.
The 30-year-old was pictured in March 2014 at the School of American Ballet's winter ball with Arielle Patrick, a 2012 Princeton grad, child of Manhattan private schools and now a PR director, who sources told the Daily Mail Online that he had dated.
Miss Patrick refused to confirm whether the pair had dated on Monday.
A fellow Princeton graduate told Daily Mail Online that Gilbert Jr was a 'highly disturbed individual'. Another friend told Today that 30-year-old Gilbert Jr had become 'volatile' in recent years.
Friends in the 30-year-old's circle told Daily Mail Online that he loved surfing, was 'handsome and nice' but extremely quiet and never talked.

The family property is a $6,000-a-month rental apartment at 20 Beekman Place on 50th Street, a few blocks north of the United Nations on the east side of Manhattan.
The building's porter told the New York Daily News that Gilbert Sr was 'friendly, very nice' and a 'gentleman'.
According to the paper, the son was spotted slipping past the doorman wearing a hoodie shortly before the attack.
'I immediately got a bad vibe,' the doorman told police, according to the Daily News. 'The kid got into the elevator before I got the chance to pick up the telephone.'
A neighbor, named as Bernard, said: 'Five minutes later he comes running out covering his face with a hoodie.'
Gilbert Sr also owns a $10 million property in the Hamptons which is listed for sale at $11.5million.
The 2.5 acre property has five bedrooms, four baths, a heated pool and screened in porch and sits in one of the area's most exclusive enclaves.

Wainscott Capital avoided losses which plagued other hedge funds in October last year, gaining 1.65 per cent that month.
In an interview with FINalternatives, Gilbert Sr attributed the success to their moderate risk profile.
'We’re not trying to beat all of the biotech funds, we’re basically trying to avoid drawdowns,' he said.
Named in the annual Who's Who In America list for five years running (1999-2004), Gilbert Sr started his career with a seven-year stint at Loeb Partners Corporation as managing director.

Clinton identified in lawsuit against his former friend and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had 'regular' orgies at his Caribbean compound that the former president visited multiple times

Bill Clinton identified in lawsuit against his former friend and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had 'regular' orgies at his Caribbean compound that the former president visited multiple times

  • The former president was friends with Jeffrey Epstein, a financier who was arrested in 2008 for soliciting underage prostitutes
  • A new lawsuit has revealed how Clinton took multiple trips to Epstein's private island where he 'kept young women as sex slaves'
  • Clinton was also apparently friends with a woman who collected naked pictures of underage girls for Epstein to choose from
  • He hasn't cut ties with that woman, however, and invited her to Chelsea's wedding
  • Comes as friends now fear that if Hillary Clinton runs for president in 2016, all of their family's old scandals will be brought to the forefront
  • Epstein has a host of famous friends including Prince Andrew who stayed at his New York mansion AFTER his arrest

A new lawsuit has revealed the extent of former President Clinton's friendship with a fundraiser who was later jailed for having sex with an underage prostitute.
Bill Clinton's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, who served time in 2008 for his illegal sexual partners, included up multiple trips to the onetime billionaire's private island in the Caribbean where underage girls were allegedly kept as sex slaves.
The National Enquirer has released new details about the two men's friendship, which seems to have ended abruptly around the time of Epstein's arrest.

Tales of orgies and young girls being shipped to the island, called Little St. James, have been revealed as part of an ongoing lawsuit between Epstein and his former lawyers Scott Rothstein and Bradley Edwards.
It is unclear what the basis of the suit is, but they go on to call witness testimony from some of the frequent guests at Epstein's island to talk about the wild parties that were held there in the early 2000s.
Convicted: Epstein was investigated in 2005 after a woman reported that he paid her 14-year-old daughter for sex

Flight logs pinpoint Clinton's trips on Epstein's jet between the years 2002 and 2005, while he was working on his philanthropic post-presidential career and while his wife Hillary was a Senator for their adopted state of New York.
'I remember asking Jeffrey what's Bill Clinton doing here kind fo thing, and he laughed it off and said well he owes me a favor,' one unidentified woman said in the lawsuit, which was filed in Palm Beach Circuit Court.
The woman went on to say how orgies were a regular occurrence and she recalled two young girls from New York who were always seen around the five-house compound but their personal backstories were never revealed.
At least one woman on the compound was there unwillingly, as the suit identifies a woman as Jane Doe 102.
She 'was forced to live as one of Epstein's underage sex slaves for years and was forced to have sex with... politicians, businessmen, royalty, academicians, etc,' the lawsuit says according to The Enquirer.
Epstein's sexual exploits have been documented since 2005, when a woman in Palm Beach contacted police saying that her 14-year-old daughter had been paid $300 to massage him and then have sex.
The claim prompted a nearly year-long investigation that led to the eventual charge of soliciting prostitution which came as part of a plea deal. He spent 13 months of a 18-month sentence in jail and remains a registered sex offender.

Several of his famous friends cut ties- including Clinton and then-New York Governor Eliot Spitzer who returned his campaign donations- but not all of them: Prince Andrew reportedly stayed at Epstein's mansion in New York in 2010, months after he was released from jail.
Keeping ties: Clinton was also friends with an unnamed woman who stored pictures of underage girls for Epstein, and though Clinton cut ties with Epstein after his arrest, he invited the woman to Chelsea's 2010 wedding
+6

Clinton's connection to Epstein, who worked as a financier and education philanthropist before more than 40 women came forward with claims about him being a sexual predator, has been long-established, but The Enquirer also tells how the former president was also friends with some of Epstein's seedy acquaintances.
The lawsuit claims that Clinton was friends with an unnamed woman who 'kept images of naked underage children on her computer, helped to recruit underage children for Epstein... and photographed underage females in sexually explicit poses'.
While he cut off ties with Epstein, this woman's abuses apparently did not end their relationship as she was reportedly one of the 400 guests at Chelsea Clinton's 2010 wedding.

Though the lawsuit may be bringing up sexual skeleton's from Clinton's past, he has added to the drama of late by posing for a photo with two known prostitutes at a fundraiser in Los Angeles last month.
The drama of his extramarital affairs is apparently just one concern for Clinton family loyalists, as a Wall Street Journal article released today details how
'I'm not in the political camp; I'm in the friends camp. And the friends camp definitely has concerns about her running,' the former Secretary of State's friend Linda Bloodworth-Thomason told the paper,
