U.S. and North Korea have been secretly discussing having ‘talks about talks’

U.S. and North Korea have been secretly discussing having ‘talks about talks’

By Anna Fifield February 2
TOKYO — The United States and North Korea have been actively discussing the possibility of returning to denuclearization talks, raising the prospect of a new round of diplomacy even as Washington takes a tougher line against Pyongyang.
The countries’ nuclear envoys have been discussing the idea of “talks about talks,” according to multiple people with knowledge of the conversations. But they have not been able to agree on the logistics — in no small part because of North Korea’s continuing Ebola quarantine.
“We want to test if they have an interest in resuming negotiations,” a senior U.S. administration official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “I think we’ve made it very clear that we would like to see them take some steps first.”
Those steps would include suspending work at North Korea’s nuclear facilities and pledging not to conduct any further nuclear tests, he said.
After years of broken North Korean promises, American negotiators are wary about taking Pyongyang at its word. But North Korea reacted angrily Sunday to the suggestion that it, not Washington, was the hurdle to resuming talks.
Relations between the United States and North Korea have explored new levels of acerbity in the weeks since Washington accused Pyongyang of being behind the devastating hack at Sony Pictures Entertainment, apparently in retaliation for “The Interview,” a movie that revolves around a scheme to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
In response, Washington has imposed new sanctions aimed at further limiting North Korea’s access to the international financial system, and Congress has been pushing for more. President Obama has been talking about the regime’s inevitable “collapse.”
When North Korea said it was willing to suspend nuclear tests if the United States and South Korea canceled annual military drills, the State Department turned down the offer, calling it “an implicit threat.” The immediate response surprised proponents of engagement, who say the offer, although unacceptable, represented an opening from North Korea that should have been considered.
But behind the scenes, former and current officials have been discussing the idea of holding talks about how to resume the six-party negotiations aimed at persuading North Korea to abandon its nuclear ambitions.
Last month, a group of former American officials — including Stephen Bosworth and Joseph DeTrani, both of whom have a long history of dealing with North Korea — met in Singapore with Ri Yong Ho, North Korea’s vice foreign minister and lead nuclear negotiator.
The meeting was designed to check “the lay of the land,” according to one person familiar with the talks. Multiple Americans with knowledge of the various discussions spoke about them on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.
The Singapore meeting resulted in the suggestion that Sung Kim, the U.S. special envoy for North Korea policy, meet with a North Korean counterpart. He was in Asia last week for meetings with Japanese, South Korean and Chinese officials, and he is understood to have raised the prospect of holding a meeting with the North Koreans in Beijing.
North Korea offered to send Ri to Beijing or suggested that Sung Kim meet in Pyongyang with Kim Kye Gwan and Kang Sok Ju, both more senior in the Foreign Ministry than Ri.
U.S. officials thought Kim’s and Kang’s ranks were better matched with Sung Kim’s position but did not like the “optics” of the American envoy traveling to Pyongyang, because it would have made the North Koreans look as though they were in the stronger position, according to the people close to the discussions.
Another big hurdle: North Korea still has strict quarantine rules in place following last year’s Ebola outbreak in West Africa. All people who have traveled outside the country — including, apparently, Ri, after his return from Singapore — are required to stay at home for 21 days.
The few foreign arrivals have similarly been quarantined in Pyongyang; their only contact with the world outside their apartments is when a state-appointed doctor comes each day to check their temperatures, said foreigners living in the North Korean capital who have been subjected to the rules. This practice is continuing, even as the Ebola crisis subsides.
But the bigger problem is the crevasse between the countries’ starting positions.
“We have made it very clear publicly that we are open to engagement, substantive dialogue with North Korea about the issue of denuclearization,” Sung Kim said after his meetings in Beijing on Friday.
The United States’ fundamental position is still that “we’re willing to deal with the government that’s in power in North Korea if they will work with us sincerely towards credible negotiations on the nuclear issue,” he said.
North Korea responded angrily on Sunday.
In rejecting its invitation to host Sung Kim in Pyongyang, the United States was instead “working hard to shift the blame onto [North Korea], misleading public opinion by creating [the] impression that dialogue and contacts are not realized due to the latter’s insincere attitude,” an unnamed Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a statement carried by the officialKorean Central News Agency.
David Straub, a former U.S. negotiator with North Korea, said the North Koreans “want to give the impression that it’s the Americans who are being unreasonable right now.”
But both sides have wanted to talk to each other for decades, he said. “The issue is not whether they want to talk but on what terms? What do they want to achieve?” Straub said. “The North Koreans have made it clear publicly and privately that they are a nuclear weapons state and that they intend to be a nuclear weapons state forever.”
Scott Snyder, a Korea expert at the Council on Foreign Relations, said getting back to talks is just the first test.
“The challenge of pursuing talks is how to resume them without accepting North Korea’s nuclear status, while simultaneously keeping up the pressure,” he said. “In the past, renewed dialogue has been accompanied by relaxation of pressure, especially from Beijing.”
The United States and North Korea have been negotiating directly and multilaterally over the latter’s nuclear program for more than two decades, with some successes — such as a 1994 normalization agreement and a 2005 six-party deal in which Pyongyang agreed to abandon its pursuit of nuclear weapons — but many more failures.
The six-party talks — including the United States, Russia, China, Japan and the two Koreas — began in 2003 and broke down in 2009 when North Korea said it would withdraw from the talks and resume its nuclear weapons program. A breakthrough seemed to come with a “Leap Day deal” in 2012, when the United States offered food aid, and North Korea said it would suspend uranium enrichment and allow in international inspectors. Less than six weeks later, North Korea launched a rocket, scuppering the deal, and then conducted its third nuclear test early in 2013.
Recent satellite imagery showed new activity at North Korea’s Yongbyon nuclear plant, possibly indicating that a reactor there was being restarted, according to analysts at the 38 North Web site. The reactor was the source of plutonium used in North Korea’s nuclear tests.

The Legacy of Debt: Interest Costs Poised to Surpass Defense and Nondefense Discretionary Spending

The Legacy of Debt: Interest Costs Poised to Surpass Defense and Nondefense Discretionary Spending

The U.S. has come a long way since the days of trillion-dollar deficits, just a few years ago. The White House projects 2016 will have the smallest budget deficit in eight years. Yet the budgetary impact of the debt that’s been accumulated–$18 trillion in total, $13 trillion of that owed to the public–will reassert itself.
Currently, the government’s interest costs are around $200 billion a year, a sum that’s low due to the era of low interest rates. Forecasters at the White House andCongressional Budget Office believe interest rates will gradually rise, and when that happens, the interest costs of the U.S. government are set to soar, from just over $200 billion to nearly $800 billion a year by decade’s end.
By 2021, the government will be spending more on interest than on all national defense. according to White House forecasts. And one year later, interest costs will exceed nondefense discretionary spending–essentially every other domestic and international government program funded annually through congressional appropriations. (The largest part of the budget is, and will remain, the mandatory spending programs of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Mandatory spending is over $2 trillion and is set to double to $4 trillion by 2025.)
The total dollars spent on defense and nondefense discretionary spending will continue to rise, albeit slowly, in the coming decade. But as a share of the economy, both categories of spending are poised to shrink for the next decade, squeezed down as interest rates rise. Mandatory spending will rise from 12.4% of GDP to about 14.5% of GDP over this period.
By 2025, the White House projects interest costs will be 2.8% of GDP. The CBO is somewhat less optimistic and expects it will be 3%. Most economists and budget experts would agree that interest payments at 3% of GDP are manageable for an economy. The true cost may be the squeeze to other places the government could be spending a decade from now.

White House: Deficit Will Increase 20% This Year (Despite Record Tax Revenue)

White House: Deficit Will Increase 20% This Year (Despite Record Tax Revenue)

February 3, 2015 - 12:00 PM

(CNSNews.com) - The data that the White House published with President Obama’s fiscal 2016 budget proposal yesterday indicate that the federal deficit will increase by 20 percent during this fiscal year (2015) even though the administration predicts the Treasury will bring in record revenue during the year.
According to Table S-1 in the “Summary Tables” appendix to the Obama budget, the deficit was $485 billion in fiscal 2014 and will be $583 billion in fiscal 2015—an increase of $98 billion, or 20.2 percent.
The federal fiscal year begins on Oct. 1 and ends on Sept. 30.
In fiscal year 2015, according to the Obama budget tables, the federal government will take in $3.176 trillion in tax revenue and spend $3.759 trillion.
The $3.176 trillion in tax revenues the White House estimates the federal government will bring in this year is a record in both current and inflation-adjusted dollars.
According to the White House Office of Management and Budget’s historical table that shows federal tax receipts and outlays in constant 2009 dollars, fiscal 2015 federal receipts will equal $2.8952 trillion in constant 2009 dollars.
The previous record for inflation-adjusted federal tax revenue in a fiscal year, according to the OMB, was last year, when the federal government brought in $2.7912 in constant 2009 dollars.
In current year dollars, according to the OMB, federal tax receipts were $3.0215 in fiscal 2014—the first time they ever exceeded three trillion. This year’s receipts, OMB estimates, will be $3.1761 in current dollars.
In his speech announcing the release of his budget proposal yesterday, President Obama said: “Now, since I took office, we have cut our deficits by about two-thirds.”
“Since 2010,” says the Obama budget proposal, “federal deficits have shrunk at an historic pace—the most rapid sustained deficit reduction since the period just after World War II. The turn away from austerity in 2014 was accompanied by another steep drop in the deficit, bringing it to 2.8 percent of GDP—the lowest level since 2007, about one-third the size of the deficit the president inherited, and below the 40-year average.”
Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, in the fourth month of fiscal 2009. On Feb. 17, 2009, he signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), his economic stimulus bill.
“When ARRA was being considered, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation estimated that it would increase budget deficits by $787 billion between fiscal years 2009 and 2019,” the CBO said in a report published last year. “CBO now estimates that the total impact over the 2009–2019 period will amount to about $830 billion. By CBO’s estimate, close to half of that impact occurred in fiscal year 2010, and more than 95 percent of ARRA’s budgetary impact was realized by the end of December 2013.”
On March 11, 2009, Obama signed the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009, which the Washington Post described as “a $410 billion spending bill to fund most of the federal government for the remainder of the year.”
In fiscal 2008, the last full fiscal year when George W. Bush was president, the federal deficit was $458.6 billion, according to the historical tables published by the White House OMB. In fiscal 2009, presided over by both Bush and Obama, the deficit was $1.4127 trillion. In 2010, it was $1.2944. In 2011, it was $1.2996 trillion. In 2012, it was $1.0870 trillion. In 2013, it was $679.5 billion. In 2014, it was $484.6 billion. And, in 2015, the OMB is estimating it will be $582.5 billion.
The fiscal 2008 deficit of $458.6 billion was 3.1 percent of GDP, according to the OMB. The OMB estimates that the $582.5 billion deficit it is projecting for this year will be 3.2 percent of GDP.
Since Obama took office, the federal debt has climbed from $10,626,877,048,913.08 to $18,082,294,157,510.20--an increase of $7,455,417,108,597.12.

OPEC leader: Oil could shoot back to $200

OPEC leader: Oil could shoot back to $200

By Matt DiLallo of The Motley Fool   @CNNMoneyInvest
Your video will play in 00:19

Right now the oil market is totally focused on finding a bottom for oil prices. However, according to OPEC's Secretary-General Abdulla al-Badri we've already hit bottom.

Not only that, but he sees a real possibility that oil prices could explode higher to upwards of $200 per barrel in the future. He's far from the only one that sees a return of triple-digit oil prices.
Finding a bottom: According to recent comments by the Secretary-General when he was in London, the oil market doesn't need to look for oil prices to bottom as the market has already bottomed. Instead, he offered quite bullish comments by saying, "Now the prices are around $45-$55, and I think maybe they [have] reached the bottom and we [will] see some rebound very soon."
Normally that type of remark would be just another layer of noise, but this is coming from OPEC's Secretary-General so it comes with a lot of weight behind it.
That said, he's not saying that OPEC will come in and rescue the oil market by reversing its previous decision to hold steady on production. Instead, he sees the signs that the oil market is self-correcting as oil companies have made deep cuts to spending, which will eventually lead to lower production growth.
Further, the rig count in the U.S. is plunging, which is usually a key to a bottom in oil prices. However, in the midst of cutting back as the industry works through the current oversupply the Secretary-General is now warning that the industry is putting future oil supplies at risk by under investing today.
Underinvestment leads to a shortage: The Secretary-General said that, "if you don't invest in oil and gas, you will see more than $200" when it comes to future oil prices. While he didn't give a time frame, he did note the correlation between investment and future production.
This is because oil production naturally declines and oil companies need to invest in new production to not only replace this decline in production from legacy oil fields but to add new production to meet growing demand. However, oil companies are reluctant to invest in new production as their cash flows decline.
Over time this could become a problem as oil fields around the world naturally decline by an average of about 5% per year. As we see in this chart from a Chevron Corporation (CVX) investor presentation, in order to overcome this decline oil companies need to develop about 200 billion barrels of oil supplies over the next decade and a half just to meet demand.
crude oil
These supplies will require the industry to invest $7-$10 trillion. However, with the big capital budget reductions oil companies have announced this year it could make it harder for the industry to meet future supply needs. In fact, the industry might defer up to $150 billion oil projects this year due to the collapse in crude prices. Many of these investments, however, wouldn't have yielded actual production for a couple of years due to the long lead time of major projects.
As an example, Chevron delivered first oil on two of its Gulf of Mexico projects late last year after beginning construction on the fields in 2011. Meanwhile, another $6 billion project it just sanctioned at the end of last year won't produce any oil until 2018. It's these long lead time projects that are being delayed, which is setting the world up for higher oil prices in the future as an under investment today has the potential to lead to a constriction in future supplies.
Investor takeaway: OPEC's Secretary-General is calling the bottom in oil prices. While he's not the first to call a bottom, he does lead the organization that currently controls the oil market so his comments do have a lot of weight.
Further, he's also suggesting that the cuts that oil companies are making could have a dramatic impact on future oil prices as the under investment has the potential to cause oil prices to rocket higher if demand grows faster than future supplies. That, however, would all be part of OPEC's plan as it purposely pushed for lower oil prices now so it could control market share once oil prices surged in the future. It's willing to endure short-term pain for the potential of a big long-term gain.
Matt DiLallo has no position in any stocks mentioned, though he is bullish on oil prices in the future. The Motley Fool recommends Chevron.

The Big Lie: 5.6% Unemployment

The Big Lie: 5.6% Unemployment

The Big Lie: 5.6% Unemployment

Here's something that many Americans -- including some of the smartest and most educated among us -- don't know: The official unemployment rate, as reported by the U.S. Department of Labor, is extremely misleading.
Right now, we're hearing much celebrating from the media, the White House and Wall Street about how unemployment is "down" to 5.6%. The cheerleading for this number is deafening. The media loves a comeback story, the White House wants to score political points and Wall Street would like you to stay in the market.
None of them will tell you this: If you, a family member or anyone is unemployed and has subsequently given up on finding a job -- if you are so hopelessly out of work that you've stopped looking over the past four weeks -- the Department of Labor doesn't count you as unemployed. That's right. While you are as unemployed as one can possibly be, and tragically may never find work again, you are notcounted in the figure we see relentlessly in the news -- currently 5.6%. Right now, as many as 30 million Americans are either out of work or severely underemployed. Trust me, the vast majority of them aren't throwing parties to toast "falling" unemployment.
There's another reason why the official rate is misleading. Say you're an out-of-work engineer or healthcare worker or construction worker or retail manager: If you perform a minimum of one hour of work in a week and are paid at least $20 -- maybe someone pays you to mow their lawn -- you're not officially counted as unemployed in the much-reported 5.6%. Few Americans know this.
Yet another figure of importance that doesn't get much press: those working part time but wanting full-time work. If you have a degree in chemistry or math and are working 10 hours part time because it is all you can find -- in other words, you are severely underemployed -- the government doesn't count you in the 5.6%. Few Americans know this.
There's no other way to say this. The official unemployment rate, which cruelly overlooks the suffering of the long-term and often permanently unemployed as well as the depressingly underemployed, amounts to a Big Lie.
And it's a lie that has consequences, because the great American dream is to have a good job, and in recent years, America has failed to deliver that dream more than it has at any time in recent memory. A good job is an individual's primary identity, their very self-worth, their dignity -- it establishes the relationship they have with their friends, community and country. When we fail to deliver a good job that fits a citizen's talents, training and experience, we are failing the great American dream.
Gallup defines a good job as 30+ hours per week for an organization that provides a regular paycheck. Right now, the U.S. is delivering at a staggeringly low rate of 44%, which is the number of full-time jobs as a percent of the adult population, 18 years and older. We need that to be 50% and a bare minimum of 10 million new, good jobs to replenish America's middle class.
I hear all the time that "unemployment is greatly reduced, but the people aren't feeling it." When the media, talking heads, the White House and Wall Street start reporting the truth -- the percent of Americans in good jobs; jobs that are full time and real -- then we will quit wondering why Americans aren't "feeling" something that doesn't remotely reflect the reality in their lives. And we will also quit wondering what hollowed out the middle class.

What Gloria Steinem, Henry Kissinger Have in Common: CIA Pay

Henry Kissinger, former U.S. secretary of state

Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) -- The front organization was one of the earliest and most trusted weapons in the psychological Cold War between the U.S. and the Soviet Union.
These seemingly independent and high-minded anticommunist entities were often created or co-opted by the bright young spies who became the founding fathers of the Central Intelligence Agency. Together, the groups formed what one U.S. agent called a ``Mighty Wurlitzer,'' an organ for playing variations on an anticommunist fugue.
Hugh Wilford takes that phrase as the title for his superb new account of the underground combat in ideas and checkbooks that unfolded in the 1950s and early '60s. In ``The Mighty Wurlitzer: How the CIA Played America,'' he explains that the U.S., in bankrolling front groups, was tacitly emulating a Soviet technique for manipulating elite and popular opinion.
Aiming to thwart the appeal of communism, the CIA and its forerunners co-opted labor unions, magazines and universities. They created scores of bogus committees and phony associations -- groups of Soviet-bloc emigres, artists and intellectuals, students, blacks and women.
The galaxy of early Cold War front organizations is studded with acronyms, conferences, disputes, conspiracy, lore and still-classified information. Wilford heroically resists getting bogged down in marginalia, keeping his narrative at a relatively high altitude over the voluminous material.
Kissinger Lures Emigres
He enlivens every chapter with sketches of larger-than-life figures: Frank Wisner, for example, was the half-mad genius who coined the Wurlitzer image; he devised elaborate subterfuges to champion freedom. Henry Kissinger, for his part, lured young emigres to Harvard seminars with government funds, Wilford says.
What of the patriotic volunteers? Gloria Steinem, the future feminist, has acknowledged that she worked for a CIA front, the amusingly named Independent Service for Information, whose purpose was to undermine a Soviet-bloc youth festival in Vienna. Tom Dooley, the celebrated humanitarian doctor in 1950s Vietnam, had no issues with his CIA cash, Wilford reports.
Neither did Eugene Groves, the president of the National Student Association -- until he finally decided the organization could no longer live a lie. The outing of that program by Ramparts magazine and its crusading editor, Warren Hinkle, exposed a spectrum of suspected front organizations, embarrassed the U.S. government and blemished the CIA for a generation.
Not Ignoble?
One important insight Wilford brings to this history is that it wasn't necessarily ignoble to promote American values in the face of a menacing communist alternative in those two decades.
``The alliance between Cold War anticommunism and liberal idealism still appeared natural and right,'' writes Wilford, a British-born historian at California State University, Long Beach.
He also recounts cases where fronts were as opportunistic as their masters, taking CIA money and continuing to say and do as they pleased. Civil-rights leader James Farmer, for example, used a high-profile trip to Africa to criticize the U.S. government, even though he later voiced suspicions that the travel was funded by CIA largesse, Wilford writes.
The Committee of Correspondence, a CIA-whelped anticommunist group of letter-writing women, adopted as its slogan Jesus' promise from the book of John, ``The truth shall make you free.'' The CIA later engraved these words on a wall at headquarters.
``Considering what some of these people were doing, that phrase was really chutzpah,'' a committee veteran later remarked.
Neither the CIA nor their witting fronts had the wit to see that the arrangement corrupted the very American values of truth and freedom that they were promoting.
Collateral Damage
Hypocrisy aside, the damage wasn't just to those exposed as front organizations and to the agency responsible, as Wilford reminds us. It was to all the other organizations that are truly independent and reflected genuine engagement and opinion. To this day, NGOs, charities and media organizations struggle to maintain their credibility as neutral actors against suspicions of collusion first planted in the days of the Mighty Wurlitzer.
``The Mighty Wurlitzer'' is published by Harvard University Press (342 pages, $27.95).

Sheriff Mack Recovering From Heart Attack: Prayers and Help Requested

Who is Sheriff Mack?

Some of our newer members may not be aware of the work former Sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, Richard Mack has been doing for well over twenty years.  Sheriff Mack was a police officer at Salt Lake City, Utah, and became a twice-elected Sheriff of Graham County, Arizona. Sheriff Mack is a member of Oath Keepers’ Board of Directors and the founder/president of Constitutional Sheriffs And Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), as well as a beloved friend and champion of Constitutional restorative work across America. Sheriff Mack travels all over America and appears on television shows, radio broadcasts, and countless websites as he spreads the word about the Constitution and the rule of law under the highest law of the land.  Richard is also a book writer. As a Board member for Oath Keepers he is a cherished stalwart and a deeply-appreciated friend.

What’s This About A Heart Attack?

Sheriff Mack is in a bit of a tight spot, as he has suffered a heart attack. He has received excellent treatment at a hospital and is recovering nicely, but slowly, and he has had to greatly reduce (for some undetermined length of time) his customary activities and works for the liberty movement.  All things point to his ultimate recovery and a new “lease on life”, but he requires a recovery period, during which he can use our help in keeping the wolf away from the door at home. Being self-employed, he has no insurance policy and the hospital bills are rolling in quickly now.

How Oath Keepers Can Help

I have taken this from a page at Sheriff Mack’s personal website:
In November of 2014, Richard Mack’s wife Dawn was hospitalized with serious medical issues. Then, in early January of 2015, Richard suffered a heart attack that required surgery. Because they are self-employed, they have no medical insurance and are in desperate need of our assistance. But there is yet another way our members can help, and help themselves directly in the process. Sheriff Mack has books for sale, and he would love to see a lot of folks purchase his books.  “Are You A David?” is Sheriff Mack’s most recent book. Here are several pages of books and things we can buy from Sheriff Mack’s website:

So our brother in the fight for liberty is now in a difficult time and can use our help.  Oath Keepers is requesting that all members and supporters please give generously.
With a salute to Carol Asher, (former assistant to the late Officer Jack McLamb), I am posting her “forward” of an Officer’s description of the moment Sheriff Mack experienced the onset of a heart attack and his brave dash to the hospital, with updates about Sheriff Mack’s condition and situation.
I wanted more information, and decided that Officer Rick Dalton, Mesa, Arizona (who partners with Richard Mack in CSPOA) would be the best man to call. I reached Rick and he explained this: Richard Mack was working out at the gym on Monday when his attack occurred. From experiences as a peace officer (and Rick confirmed), he knew that in calling 911 it takes, on average, a good 10-12 minutes for paramedics to arrive. Deciding he could do better than that, Richard jumped into his own vehicle and raced to the hospital – arriving there in just 4 minutes’ time!
He went into Emergency and rushed to the front of the line and explained that he was having severe chest pains and needed help immediately. Doctors took one look at him and said, “Yes, this is the real thing – let’s go!” They placed Richard on a gurney and rushed him up to surgery. As he worked, the doctor said to Richard, “This could hurt a little,.” and Richard waited for something really big to happen. But after some minutes (within just a half-hour total and to Richard’s surprise) the doctor said, “Okay, we’re done,.” having already inserted and installed a stent in the affected artery.
As Rick explained, they found that the left descending artery (the abdominal aorta), coming out of the heart and going down, was totally blocked, causing the problem. Rick says that the prognosis is that Richard is going to be okay! He added that (again some knowledge gained from police work) if the same total blockage occurs on the right side of one’s heart, it’s much more apt to be fatal, so we can certainly be thankful there.
Thanks so much for your concern, Michael. Rick Dalton said he was very surprised that some of us (like here in Idaho) are just now (Friday afternoon) getting the word about Richard, since this happened a whole 4 days ago. Anyway, better late than never, and we can just be SO grateful that the news is this good and hopeful! Richard did remain hospitalized for 2 days, but was able to come home yesterday, Thursday afternoon.
Rick did suggest, also, that any help friends can give (in addition to the continued prayers and good wishes) will be greatly appreciated. For example, people might offer support by buying an extra copy of one of Richard’s books, or maybe by just plain send along a donation. (More than likely, there will be some extra medical expenses to pay.)
Mailings can be sent to Richard Mack, CSPOA, P.O. Box 567, Higley, Arizona 85236.

SOLUTIONS: Iraq Veterans Against the "foreign Occupied" governments terrorism policies in Iraq

We need to truly watch this video below and listen to these soldiers, especially if we truly want to know what we are really doing in Iraq and to Iraqi civilians and finally to our soldiers who are committing suicide in record numbers. What I am finding out, is that we are being lied to about the number of dead and wounded and permanently maimed soldiers from all these bogus globalizing wars.

Further, our sons, daughters, spouses, brothers etc, as soldiers, are being order by superior officers "to murder unarmed Iraqi civilians."  Does that sound familiar?  Aren't law enforcement here in the states starting enmass to murder unarmed and not dangerous American civilians?  You don't think so????  Then read all of these.

I am sooo mad right now.  Read these figures below and check out my VN:  I went back to 2011 to prove the figures were much much higher and found the blog I had done from Government sites, was gutted by someone (probably Israel since they have a full NSA site in Jerusalem, now who did that to allow a foreign country to spy on us?

Traitors, that who.  We have some serious work to do, since we have no system anymore and no one else to rely on to handle these things.  Like Europeans in WW II, we are going to have to take care of these things ourselves or be prepared to become extinct.  They do NOT WANT US AROUND.

That tells me, it was correct info, so I am going to stand by it just based on their hacking it and gutting it, otherwise, why would they do that without some sort of contact with me about the information, if it were wrong.  I believe these soldiers know this and why they are starting to rebel against what they are seeing.

I don't know that for a fact, but its becoming clear, we do NOT KNOW A LOT FOR A FACT, since we have been lied to so very badly for so very long. I am going down WW II rabbitholes and finding just how badly we have been lied too and we are only now finding out about it. You can imagine just how badly they are lying to us right now.

We need to make laws that prevent these khazars from owning anything to do with information, communication, or public discourse and those infiltrated in our government, need to be purged immediately if not sooner.  Like Iceland, lets just throw their silly A-- in jail and never let them out.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS THAT OUR VETERANS ARE COMING OUT AGAINST THESE WARS.  We need to stand and support them.  I had no idea our soldiers had been sooo betrayed by their leaders, such, that they have paid a price far greater than ever in the history of this country.  Many have lost jobs,  spouses, families, etc due to the perpetual call up for war.

I know, I see them homeless on our streets, and without any kind of support, with even the VA treating them like parasites.  We better wake up and stand up, if we are going to survive what these satanist traitors have planned for us.  Our soldiers are our future leaders in resistance and the PTB know it.

Iraq Veterans Against the War, Rise

Iraq veterans who are against perpetual wars deserve our support and respect.

tumblr_
In 2012, about 50 Iraq veterans angrily discarded their war medals. Last September, it was reported that “Probably no Americans are more abidingly tired of war than those who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.”[1]

One army sergeant, “who was about to be sent to Iraq for his second tour,” declared, “We’re getting maimed for bullshit.”[2]

If you think the sergeant is kidding, USA Today declared last January that “As two of the nation’s longest wars finally end, most Americans have concluded that neither achieved its goals.”[3]

In other words, the six-trillion dollar war was a total waste. Men, women and children  who ended up losing their precious lives were all pawns in the Zionist schemes. The only people who are still laughing right now are the Dreadful Few.

The sad part is that when those maimed are done fighting Zionist wars and come back home, they are largely discarded as non-humans:

“Nearly 50,000 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans were either homeless or in a federal program aimed at keeping them off the streets during 2013, almost triple the number in 2011…”[4]

Our American men and women deserve better. We certainly cannot continue on this Zionist path and expect to have a bright future as Americans. And the statistics about the wars are just intolerable. Read the the following statistics produced by Antiwar.com:

American Military Casualties in Iraq
Date Total In Combat

American Deaths -

Since war began (3/19/03): 4493 3528
Since “Mission Accomplished” (5/1/03) (the list) 4347 3424
Since Handover (6/29/04): 3627 2899
Since Obama Inauguration (1/20/09): 256 128
Since Operation New Dawn: 66 39
American Wounded Official Estimated
Total Wounded: 32021 Over 100000

(VN: we published a blog on these figures from official sources and its way over what he is showing here.  That is how pervasive the liars are in their manipulations. I just went to get the link and guess what?  THEY HAVE GUTTED THE ENTIRE BLOG WITH ALL THE SPECIFICS i GOT FROM THE GOV SITE ABOUT THE DEAD AND INJURED. Now I can'f find the original in google search.  Trust me, its over a million both wounded and dead, and the dead was put at 78,000 soldiers, which is 50% higher again, then the entire Viet Nam war, and that was in sept 11, 2011.  Its got to be more now.

We ARE DEFINITELY UNDER ATTACK WITH SOFT KILL OR HIDDEN KILLINGS. The whole purpose to to kill off our resistance fighters to their global plans, to alienate us from the rest of the planet, to make us into the new nazi's and start WW III between Muslims and Americans, and then take control of the planet.   They are attacking our military FROM WITHIN.... TREASON BIG AS HECK, no wonder they purged so many of our top officials out of the pentagon.  They may have been making noises about all this.  So who is left?  The khazars causing all this? Listen to these soldiers in the video below and they will tell you how bad it is, and why we should insist that our gov get out of war everywhere. )

This is just a small fraction of the facts. Time simply will not allow us to provide all the evidence showing that the Iraq war was a complete disaster.

Iraq veterans, then, have legitimate reasons to voice their righteous anger against the powers that be, and perhaps the following video clips provide an accurate picture of their small but significant voice:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWUQ_N_vHc0&feature=player_embedded&x-yt-cl=85114404&x-yt-ts=1422579428

Those Iraq veterans deserve our respect and support. Michael Blake, a former specialist who served in Iraq between 2003 and 2004 in the clip, delivered one of the most moving and passionate testimonies ever. Thank God for young men like him. Let us work harder this year to make sure that Americans are aware of what is happening to decent people in the Middle East.

Why Big Pharma Killed President Eisenhower

Eisenhower

Dear Friend,
On September 24, 1955, President Eisenhower – World War II hero and beloved president – was playing golf at his Denver home, when he suddenly collapsed from what was a rare disease at the time.
He had a heart attack.
Although nobody knew it then... and though you won’t read about it in any history book...
This was a watershed moment that would change the course of modern medicine forever.
One that would make heart disease the #1 killer of Americans – and would establish Big Pharma as America’s #1 most profitable industry.
Hi, my name is Dr. Al Sears.
The story I’m unveiling today has HUGE implications for your personal health, and that of your family.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with heart disease, you need to know the exact details of what took place.
Because this story doesn’t just tell you WHO is responsible...
It tells you WHY.
As in...
  • WHY heart disease rates have soared since 1955 – even as consumption of “heart-healthy” foods and cholesterol-lowering drugs has skyrocketed.
  • WHY you could become victim of this drug-induced tragedy – no matter your cholesterol levels or intake of fat.
  • And 100 billion reasons why Big Pharma will NEVER cure heart disease.
That’s why historian Larry Schweikart calls it “the single most important medical case of the twentieth century.”
Yet the REAL story behind it is virtually unknown.
Within 24 hours of Ike’s heart attack, special interests seized the opportunity.
They manufactured a crisis, a founding myth, and a “solution.”
They shoved this propaganda down the American public’s throat.
And in doing so, they singlehandedly sent America’s health spiraling downhill for the next six decades.
Over the next few minutes, I’ll expose this near-60-year-old Big Pharma conspiracy. I’ll name the names. I’ll track the money. And at each stage, I’ll answer the BIG question: “Who benefits?”
What’s more, I’ll reveal how you can safeguard yourself from heart disease forever with solutions that are 100 percent natural, affordable, effective, and safe.
