NWO STILL CREATING FALSE FLAG SHOOTINGS TO TAKE YOUR GUNS!!!!!!

OREGON  SHOOTING:  13  TROUBLING  SIGNS  OF  POTENTIALLY  YET  ANOTHER  FALSE  FLAG!!

false flag shooting

By Bernie Suarez

When you practice something all the time you eventually get very good at it. The one thing many awakened and vigilant Americans have become good at over the past few years is sniffing out government false flags because they have so much practice at it. You may find that the events surrounding the recent Umpqua Community College shooting in southern Oregon may ring a few familiar false flag bells after you consider what the mainstream media is saying about the shooting. It is at least extremely reasonable to suspect that this is yet another gun control shooting false flag event since it has many of the characteristics of it.
Sounds crazy? Yes, it always does. False flags are supposed to divide people in addition to tricking them. But as I’ve said repeatedly in the past, when considering a suspected false flag event you have to start somewhere. Look for the beneficiaries of course and look for common patterns. I think many of us know the patterns by now and what to look for when suspecting a false flag shooting.
The college where the latest shooting took place is located six miles north of Roseburg, Oregon and was a very small town where you would expect everyone to be known to most people yet early on it appears this is not the case. Thirteen so far unknown people are said to be murdered and another 20 wounded.
So, should we believe that the Oregon shooting is legitimate with no government involvement? I would like to think so, but as always many things surrounding this latest shooting force us to consider if we’re dealing with yet another gun grab shooting designed to push anti-gun legislation. With the new world order’s Agenda 2030 pushed last week with help from the Pope, we know that Obama now has gun control as one of the remaining major items on the top of his list before he leaves office in 2016. The administration desperately needs this gun-control agenda to be pushed through and we’ve seen a laundry list of proven false flag shootings over the past several years.
Are you someone who wants to believe this is not so? Then deal with these 13 points which at the very least bring into question this latest shooting.

1 – Grandiose mainstream media headline demanding your attention to this story.

Without the same grandiose mainstream media headline, I myself would not have noticed this story online. Here we go again? This is now the latest 24/7 story that the mainstream media seems to want and need you to be fascinated by. This alone is a huge tell-tale sign no one should overlook.

2 – Immediate call for gun control in the story sub-headlines.

This latest Oregon school shooting comes with no holds barred. Even in the very headline there was a quick post announcing the need for gun control. Whenever you have gun control pushed on you before you can understand what just happened, that should be a red flag.

3 – Obama himself immediately calls for gun control seizing the moment Sandy Hook style.

Obama even admits his desperate gun control agenda is political
“This is something we should politicize,” he said, calling on Americans of all political stripes to hold their elected leaders accountable for acting on the issue.
It goes without saying that whenever Obama jumps into a topic you should run the other way and fast. Very few actions tell me this shooting has an agenda behind it more than seeing Obama immediately calling for gun control on cue. I’m thinking, doesn’t Obama have presidential work to do? Why is he so involved in specific stories that perfectly fit the new world order agenda? Are we to ignore this or consider this timing coincidental?

4 – Shooter is dead as usual.

We all know the script by now and once again and as usual the shooter does not live to tell the tale or defend his intent. That’s because dead men tell no tales. Consequently, the story as usual is left to the story tellers. And with the usual dead shooter there is much less need to worry about any account conflicts or future revelations of government involvement. Some things for everyone to consider are the following – Did the shooter try to lower his gun? What circumstances led to police actually killing the shooter? Are police reports available for us to see? Don’t police disable people any more?? Isn’t there policy for this? Did police follow correct procedure?

5 – Shooter identity completely unknown but repeated mention of “4 guns” very known.

How often does a shooting take place and no one knows who the shooter is (as of the time of this article)? Students didn’t recognize their own classmate? Or did the shooter decide to shoot a bunch of strangers in a school that he’s never attended? How is it that no one knows the shooter? This certainly was not the case in the Virginia Tech shooting of 2007 or Columbine shooting where everyone seem to know or recognize the shooter. Consider this carefully.

6 – “Conflicting reports” in the number of dead people. Identity entirely unknown as well.

Who are these dead people? What are their names? And why is there confusion as to how many people are dead at a small school. Is the body count that high? That difficult? You decide what this might mean given the context of all the facts coming out. It would certainly not be the first time we’ve heard conflicting stories and body counts.

7 – Oregon is recent state of political interest to Neocon former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

It’s not a far stretch to imagine that a good town for a false flag shooting would be one where trusted criminals have influence or are in power. Is it just me or has anyone else been wondering what the heck in former Mayor Bloomberg was doing in Oregon? Is it a coincidence that former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been dumping a lot of money into pushing legislation in Oregon? In the past, others within alternative media have called for watchful eyes in Oregon given this connection. No big deal? You decide.

8 – Social media controversy already brewing.

Recall after the Sandy Hook shooting false flag we saw criminal Lt Paul Vance come on TV and call social media exposure of the Sandy Hook shooting “disinformation” and a “crime” to be “prosecuted.” Similarly, again we are seeing an early immediate attack and discrediting of social media in an attempt to control the information. Perhaps they are doing this knowing that soon more information will come out. Everyone should consider that this social media stunt may be purposely bogus to discredit social media. I suspect this may be what is happening. This is just another attempt by the controllers to condition people into thinking that the only reliable news comes from mainstream media sources.

9 – Initial images and videos show no ambulances, no blood or dead bodies.

If anyone has these images please provide them so we can see them but as of the time of this article this evidence was not available.
This reminds us of almost every shooting false flag where the mainstream media hides the images of the crime scene. Where are the images of the police yellow tape? The blood on the floor? The bodies? The ambulances and emergency vehicles?? By hiding all of these images all of the story and images is left to your imagination and this allows for maximum control of the information.

10 – Shooting has a divisive religious twist to it – opens door for blaming Islam, others later on.

Without any further explanation we’re told that the shooter demanded that his victims state what their religion was before shooting them. No one seems to offer what the intent of this was or what does this mean. Is this an attempt to leave the door open for a possible blaming of ISIS or some other extremist related patsy? Consider that the shooter up to now (the time of this article) can be anyone. Conveniently the controllers have held back the identity of the shooter.

11 – No clear cut witnesses actually saw the shooting.

Yes, believe it or not. After reading the story it appears there are only 3 witnesses accounted for. The closest thing to an eyewitness is Kortney Moore:
Kortney Moore, 18, told the local News Review newspaper that she was in her writing class in Snyder Hall when a gunshot came through the window and struck her teacher in the head.
The remaining 2 supposed witnesses only HEARD the gunfire according to reports.
Student Cassandra Welding told CNN that she heard 35 to 40 shots.
Student Brandy Winter, in a posting on Facebook, said she was in a classroom in Snyder Hall, next door to the room where the shooting began and ran, along with her classmates, when they heard the gunfire.
Winter also says that “from talking with a student in the classroom where it happen, almost every person in the room was shot by a man with four guns,” admitting she herself did not witness the shooting.
Anyone who knows about guns might find this statement a bit peculiar since you can only shoot someone with a gun one bullet at a time. You cannot fire 4 guns at once. Also, studies show that when someone is shot with a gun most of the time they will actually survive the shooting since the bullet must penetrate vital organs. Also people who are severely shot won’t die right away giving them time to potentially tackle the shooter. So it’s not easy to actually shoot and kill a room full of people with 4 guns. Also surely after the first few rounds everyone afraid for their lives would have run full speed out of the room.
So where are the people who actually saw the shooting with their own eyes? And, again, why did no one tackle the shooter as he switched guns given that most likely he could get off no more than 10 rounds at a time? I’m sure we’ll hear from the wounded victims much later on like the interview we saw with Greta Van Susteren and the Virginia Shooting survivor crisis actor.

12 – All students quickly treated as strip-searched suspects instead of victims.

Did the police not want the students to get a good view of the evidence and scene as they passed by? Was this part of the drill to condition students to give up their 4th amendment rights Boston bombing style under shooting conditions? And why were students joking?? Were these students not just exposed to a shocking bloody gruesome scene? I find this a little odd.
“They walked us straight through the crime scene with our hands up,” 18-year-old freshman Andi Dinnetz said. “It was more tense outside. In the classroom, everyone was trying to make jokes and keep it from being as serious as it was.”

13 – Social media manifesto-like messages once again posted to further substantiate shooter intent.

Mainstream media is posting a chain of messages posted by an anonymous character on 4chan.org the night before:
Don’t go to school tomorrow if you are in the northwest.
Once again, a would-be shooter in America whose shooting would quickly serve the gun control agenda just so happens to pre-post threats announcing or hinting at what he is going to do. This is another trademark of false flag shootings.

Conclusion

I want to believe this latest shooting is not a false flag. I have no other information except what mainstream media wants us to know. I (we) have an obligation to receive the information in the right context. And what context is that? That the globalists are desperate and they are running out of time to get more gun legislation in. The context that a month ago they suffered a horrific failure in Virginia when overwhelming evidence clearly shows the shooting was a false flag. Following this, the Virginia TV Reporter shooting disappeared completely from mainstream media news, and it disappeared for a reason. Surprisingly and ironically there was no mention of the late August Virginia TV Reporter shooting in this recent story which, by the way, mentions several of the other shootings from the past. Given that it only happened a month ago isn’t this a little odd?
Also consider this story in the context of the embarrassment that the U.S. is suffering with respect to ISIS being called out and bombed in Syria. The U.S. and the new world order is in the midst of a tumultuous period. They need a victory soon and just as everyone is looking at the ISIS/Syrian crisis failure here comes a new shooting to get your attention away from Syria.
Is this latest shooting a perfectly coincidental event for the globalisst or just another false flag shooting? You consider the evidence for yourself and decide. I’m sure new evidence will emerge. Whether that evidence debunks my suspicions or confirms it will remain to be seen.

A 15-year-old British boy who came within days of successfully plotting an Anzac Day parade “massacre” in Melbourne after being radicalized by ISIS has been sentenced to life in jail.
The teenager, from Blackburn in northwest England, sat expressionless flanked by his teary parents as Judge John Saunders told Manchester Crown Court the youth remained a significant danger to the community.
“I have given this matter very careful thought because of the consequence so passing a sentence of detention for life on someone of (boys) age but I have a duty to protect the public,” the judge said.
“I have concluded all the evidence that I have that the only proper sentence is one of detention for life.”

Russia Already In, China To Come: Chances Of WW3 In Syria Just Got Higher

Russia Already In, China To Come: Chances Of WW3 In Syria Just Got Higher

With Russia already in Syria (getting help from Iran and Iraq), there’s now a report China is sending in its troops too. A Syria WW3 scenario just got more likely. Will World War 3 break out there?
With Russia already in Syria (getting help from Iran and Iraq), there’s now a report China is sending in its troops too. A Syria WW3 scenario just got more likely. Will World War 3 break out there?

The likelihood of a Syria WW3 scenario just increased with the latest news that China is about to send military troops to team up with the Russians (who are getting help from Iran, Iraq and Syria itself with a joint information center) in defending the Syrian Army of President Bashar Al-Assad and targeting ISIS. The Iranians have been assisting Assad for a long time as part of their regional alliance through channels such as Hezbollah; then on September 21, 2015, there were reports of Russia sending troops, jets and other military equipment to Syria. With the US, UK, Israel, France, Turkey and others already operating in Syria as a loose alliance on one side, and Russia, China, Iran, Iraq and the official Syrian Army involved on the other, the probability is getting higher all the time that the situation could erupt into a world conflict, and that we could potentially witness a Syria WW3 scenario.

China Sending Naval Vessels to Syria

China and Russia are joining forces militarily; they must be prepared for a Syria WW3 outbreak

The following article from International Business Times stated:
“After the Russians and Iranians, Chinese troops reportedly are teaming up with the Syrian regime forces in what is being termed as the deal that will allow President Bashar al-Assad to stay in power. A report claims that a Chinese naval vessel carrying dozens of “military advisers” is on its way to Syria and the Chinese troops will then join with the “hundreds” of Russian soldiers. “The Chinese will be arriving in the coming weeks,” a Syrian army official told Lebanon-based news website – Al-Masdar Al-‘Arabi. The Chinese ship has crossed the Suez Canal in Egypt and is currently in the Mediterranean Sea. However, according to Israeli military news website – DEBKAfile, the aircraft carrier, Liaoning-CV-16, is already docked at the Syrian port of Tartus, accompanied by a guided missile cruiser.”

US Meddling in Syria in Line with the Wolfowitz Doctrine

It is certainly disturbing to see so many of the world’s greatest military powers gathering in such a small country and actively operating there. Even if they say there are all mainly there to fight ISIS and are not directly targeting each other (yet), there is always the chance that hostilities could be triggered by accidental crossfire. However, to understand what is going on, we need to remember the grand NWO (New World Order) plan as it relates to geopolitics. Ever since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the US has emerged as the world’s sole superpower. Since then, no matter who has been in power, its foreign policy has been driven by schools of thought like the Wolfowitz Doctrine and Brzezinski’s The Grand Chessboard, which urge the need for the US to unashamedly dominate Eurasia (where most of the world’s resources lay). Even France is getting in on the action, absurdly claiming they are bombing Syria in “self-defense”!

WW3 in Syria May be Part of the Grand New World Order Agenda

Many sources inform us that Syria is a target of the Zionist-US-UK NWO.
Many sources inform us that Syria is a target of the Zionist-US-UK NWO.

Remember how General Wesley Clark said that he was told around 10 days after the 9/11 false flag attack that the US plan was to attack 7 countries in 5 years (Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran)? Remember how arch-manipulator and war criminal Henry Kissinger said that the events unfolding in Egypt were just the First Scene of the First Act of a very long play? Remember how 33° Freemasonic Grandmaster Albert Pike wrote a letter to Giuseppe Mazzini in 1871, prophesizing 3 World Wars to come? Pike’s WW3 prediction stated:
The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion …We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view.”

The creation of ISIS by the US may be because Syria has been such a hard nut to crack. But will they risk a Syria WW3 scenario?
The creation of ISIS by the US may be because Syria has been such a hard nut to crack. But will they risk a Syria WW3 scenario?

The Zionist-US-UK axis was able to knock off countries like Iraq, Libya and Sudan with relative ease, but Syria has been a stumbling block on their road to world domination, because it has powerful allies like Iran and Russia who have stepped in to defend it. We know this Zionist-US-UK axis has gone to great lengths to conquer Syria and to remove Assad from power, including creating and funding a hard-core group of religious militant terrorists, ISIS/IS/IL/Daesh. The ISIS psy-op has been thoroughly exposed, however, and it is now common knowledge that Israel and US are behind ISIS (see David Icke’s humorous picture above).
The questions now remains: are these geopolitical manipulators crazy enough to trigger WW3 in Syria? Will they go to any length to conquer this small Middle Eastern nation? Will they risk a Syria WW3 outbreak? If what we know of their plans is correct, they have to first take out Syria in order to then take out Iran – so that the Eurasian encircling of Russia and China is complete. Time will tell if a Syria WW3 scenario erupts, but disturbingly, as the days go by, the military buildup – and therefore the likelihood – keep increasing.

From Reader Joe. TY!

I wonder how many other people spot this anomaly.
When Bill Clinton was president, Web Hubbell obediently went to prison by claiming all responsibility for the Whitewater scandal. (That is why he is still alive)
(He is also Chelsea's real father, but that's another story)
Then there were allegations uncovered of massive fraudulent campaign donations to slick Willie. Ron brown was his campaign finance manager. Ron Brown
was rewarded for his efforts by being made Secretary of Commerce. As the manure started hitting the fan, Ron brown said, "I am not going to prison for
Bill Clinton". (That sealed his fate)
Ron Brown went on a death flight to Bosnia in a military version of the Boeing 737.. It was later discovered in a medical class he had a .45 bullet hole in the top of his head.
http://whatreallyhappened.com/RANCHO/CRASH/BROWN/bullet.html
Knowing this might cause lots of un-needed speculation, Clinton and the CIA devised a very clever "False Flag" to divert media attention.
The FBI had the Unabomber under round the clock surveillance in his cabin for the previous seven months, waiting for a needed diversion to "Break the case".
Ron Brown was deliberately killed on a Sunday, a slow news day, and within hours, the Unabomber was "Discovered and captured".
Fast Forward to 09.30.2015. Vladimir Putin fills the sky over Syria with Migs and "ORDERS" the US Air Force to stand down.
This is the most serious threat to Obama's "Non-presidency" that will ever exist.
A diversion is needed.
A mind-controlled robot (Sirhan Sirhan, Mark Chapman, Lee Harvey Oswald, James Earl Ray, John Hinckley, etc, etc)
shoots up a college campus in Oregon
A rather convenient media diversion, wouldn't you say?
Preposterous you say?
None dare call it conspiracy.

DURHAM, Ont. - An Ontario farmer who has long fought for the right to sell unpasteurized milk says public health officials have raided his farm northwest of Toronto and have seized raw milk and dairy equipment.
Michael Schmidt says about 20 officials raided his farm at 10:30 a.m. Friday and remain on the property in Durham as they remove equipment and computers.
Schmidt says he offers a cow-sharing service for customers who want raw milk products, which he distributes weekly.
York Region says it has an active investigation into Schmidt's farming collective and raided one of his van's on Tuesday to confiscate milk.
The Ontario government maintains the unprocessed milk poses a significant risk to public health, but Schmidt insists there's no evidence anyone has ever fallen ill from his milk, and he and his supporters argue raw milk offers health benefits.
York Region officials said they will issue a statement about the farm raid later on Friday.

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan to step down at end of year

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan to step down at end of year

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan plans to step down from his cabinet position by the end of the year, leaving the Obama Administration more than a year before the president’s term will end, according to two administration officials and an e-mail he sent to this staff.
[Read Duncan’s e-mail to his staff, announcing his decision]
“We can confirm that President Obama will announce today that Education Secretary Arne Duncan intends to step down in December, and that the President has selected John B. King Jr., who currently acts as Deputy Secretary of Education, to replace him,” said a White House official, speaking on condition of anonymity ahead of the official announcement.
King  is a Brooklyn native who often credits teachers with guiding him toward a successful path after he was orphaned at age 12. A former charter school leader in Boston and New York, he joined the education department in January after a turbulent tenure as commissioner of education for the state of New York. In that role, he was a key architect of new teacher evaluations tied to test scores and played a key role in pushing New York to adopt new tests aligned to the Common Core State Standards years before other states did the same.
King defended those moves, favored by Duncan and the Obama administration, even as they made him the target of public outrage. Parents saw their children’s test scores fall and teachers unions called for his ouster.
Duncan, 50, has been the longest-serving education secretary and, by most accounts, the most influential.
He took an agency long considered a quiet outpost in the power landscape of Washington, D.C. and – through luck and strategy – oversaw a vigorous expansion of the federal role in the nation’s 100,000 public schools. He largely bypassed Congress to induce states to adopt landmark changes that none of his predecessors attempted – policies such as teacher evaluations and higher academic standards.
Duncan tried to straddle the deep national divide about the best way to improve public education, working between those who believe that competition, accountability and market forces are the best route and others who argue for heavier investment to address the many needs of poor children who increasingly fill public schools.
To Duncan, that has meant a rapid expansion of public charter schools, promoting a national set of K-12 academic benchmarks known as the Common Core State Standards in math and reading, holding teachers accountable for student progress as measured in part by test scores; enrolling more low-income children in preschool and a desire to invest in “wraparound services” such as medical care, mentoring and family services.
Duncan was able to cajole and convince states to adopt his favored policies by taking advantage of two powerful tools: competitive federal grants known as Race to the Top and waivers that excused states from the requirements of No Child Left Behind law, a federal law widely disliked by states. In order to compete for a grant under Race to the Top, or to receive a waiver under No Child Left Behind, states had to adopt Duncan’s favored policies. Today, more than 40 states hold such waivers, leading some critics to accuse Duncan of acting as “the national school superintendent.”
[How Duncan and Obama have changed America’s schools]
One of those critics, Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), couched his disagreements in gentle terms when reacting to Duncan’s news on Friday. “Arne Duncan was one of the president’s best appointments,” he said in a statement. “When we disagree, it is usually because he believes the path to effective teaching, higher standards and real accountability is through Washington, D.C. and I believe it should be in the hands of states, communities, parents and classroom teachers.”
Duncan, who has been the longest serving member of Obama’s cabinet,  has come under increasing criticism from both the right and the left. Congress, in pending legislation, has moved to strip his power, and in July 2014 delegates of the National Education Association called on Duncan to resign, citing policies they believed hurt teachers and unions.
In a move that made a profound difference to schools across the country but has been little noticed in the larger debates about Duncan’s legacy, his agency directed $100 billion in stimulus funds to districts small and large that were otherwise facing severe job cuts in the wake of the 2008 recession. The move  preserved an estimated 350,000 teaching jobs. He also oversaw a major expansion of the department’s Office of Civil Rights as the department investigated sexual assault on college campuses, and he pushed the nation’s schools to change discipline policies that resulted in the disproportionate suspension and expulsion of minority children.
[Even as Congress moves to strip his power, Arne Duncan holds his ground]
Duncan spoke often about the importance of early childhood education and pushed unsuccessfully for a major expansion of federally funded preschool programs. On Wednesday, early childhood education advocates expressed appreciation for the attention he helped bring to their work.
“Secretary Duncan’s leadership and unwavering dedication to early childhood education has made an immeasurable difference in the lives of countless young learners,” said Kris Perry, executive director of the First Five Years Fund. “He has harnessed what all of the research shows about the benefits of investing in early learning, and successfully incorporated it into the everyday mission and policy goals of the Department of Education. We are incredibly grateful.”
In higher education, Duncan has been the point man in chasing a goal Obama set early in his presidency: for the United States to become by 2020 the world leader in the share of young adults who have a college degree. The nation has made some progress still trails several others on that that measure.
But Duncan has championed several measures to widen access to college for disadvantaged students, including simpler financial aid forms and more funding for Pell grants. This year he even visited a prison in Maryland to announce an experiment that will enable some prisoners to receive Pell grants.
The Education Department under Duncan has also taken steps to tighten oversight of colleges, some of which have made college and university leaders chafe. There has been more regulation of for-profit colleges, as well as a heightened level of financial scrutiny that led to the collapse of the Corinthian College for-profit chain. A lengthy effort to come up with a federal plan to rate colleges on measures of value and access was derailed, but Duncan last month unveiled an alternative: a Web site called College Scorecard that publishes information about graduation rates and average salaries of alumni at thousands of schools.
Duncan’s move from Washington to Chicago — where he grew up and later was the head of the Chicago Public Schools — appears to have been in the making for some time. Duncan’s wife, Karen, and his two children, Claire and Ryan, moved back to Chicago earlier this year to restart life in the city where they lived before then President-elect Barack Obama asked his old friend in 2008 to run the U.S. Education Department.
Duncan did not hide his dislike for the nation’s capital, often criticizing Washington as a den of dysfunction filled with powerful people who lacked political courage to do what he believed was right.
In an interview with The Washington Post in June, he recounted how one senator confided that he supported universal preschool — an idea Duncan had been promoting for two years — but would not publicly back any plan for the federal government to fund it.
“That’s, like, my political lesson in Washington,” Duncan said. “Are you here to make a difference? . . . Or are you here to say you’re a fancy senator?”
But Duncan said at the time that he planned to remain in Washington D.C., serving out the Obama administration’s second term before rejoining his family in Chicago. Karen Duncan was seen at the private Lab Schools in Chicago in late January with her two children (who “shadowed” other students through a school day, which is commonly done by students preparing to attend a particular school).
When the family’s move was announced in July, Dorie Nolt, Duncan’s spokeswoman, released this statement:
After more than six years living just outside Washington, D.C., Secretary Duncan’s family moved back to Chicago recently. His wife, Karen, is ready to resume her full-time career in education and will work at her former employer, the University of Chicago Laboratory School, where their children will attend school. Secretary Duncan will continue to work and maintain a residence in D.C. but commute to spend weekends with his family, as many cabinet Secretaries have done. Secretary Duncan remains committed to his work in the Cabinet and will continue to serve at the pleasure of the President.
In the June interview with The Post, Duncan said he planned to stay put in Washington because he felt he had a long list of unfinished business and felt an urgency to keep pushing toward unmet goals. He called his job the dream of a lifetime. “I still pinch myself some days,” he said.
Duncan’s announcement came as a surprise, even to some people who are close to him. Just two days ago, after a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, Duncan artfully declined to answer when he was asked whether he planned to stay until the end of the administration’s second term.
“We’re working hard every day and we have an amazing team,” Duncan said. “There is so much work we need to do.”
Duncan at the time gave the impression that he would stay until the Obama administration ends in 14 months, talking about the importance of the work ahead “in the fourth quarter.”
Asked what he planned after leaving office, he demurred.
“I have no idea,” Duncan said, adding that he felt he had a great deal more work to do in his current job and felt great pressure to get as much done as he could in the remaining months. “I’ve always been very tunnel-visioned. … It’s absolutely the wrong thing to do to start thinking about other things right now.”
Then he waited a beat.
“But if anybody has any ideas, let me know,” he said to laughter.
The following is a text of an internal e-mail Duncan sent to his staff today, according to a copy obtained by The Washington Post:
Subject line: An inspiring new leader for our extraordinary team
Dear colleagues,
I’m writing to tell you two things. First, what is for me some bittersweet news: after several months of commuting between my family in Chicago and my job here in DC, I have made the decision to step down in December.

Second, and very happily, President Obama has asked our delegated Deputy Secretary John King Jr. to step into my role when I leave. An announcement to that effect went out from the White House a few minutes ago.
Serving the President in the work of expanding opportunity for students throughout this country has been the greatest honor of my life. Doing so alongside people of the brilliance, ability and moral conviction of the team here at ED has been nothing short of thrilling. We have been lucky to have an a amazing team here from Day One, but I honestly believe our team today is the strongest it’s ever been. So it’s with real sadness that have come to recognize that being apart from my family has become too much of a strain, and it is time for me to step aside and give a new leader a chance. I haven’t talked with anyone about what I’ll do next, and probably won’t for a little while – I’m simply returning to Chicago to live with my family. I imagine my next steps will continue to involve the work of expanding opportunity for children, but I have no idea what that will look like yet.
What gives me peace with this decision, and I hope comes as a reassurance to everyone here, is the extraordinary talent of John and our leadership team. John comes to this role with a record of exceptional accomplishment as a lifelong educator – a teacher, a school leader, and a leader of school systems, most recently as Commissioner of Education in New York State before he joined our team. Over the years that I have known him, and especially in the months we have worked together here, I’ve come to recognize John as one of the most passionate, courageous, clear-headed leaders in our field. His talent is such that he will become one of the youngest Cabinet members in American history. (I encourage you to read his remarkable personal story, which he laid out in a Huffington Post article a few years ago.)
The team here is extraordinary. Each of our offices is headed by a genuine national leader from whom I’ve learned enormously, and at the center of that team is a senior leadership I’ve depended upon daily – in addition to John, our Under Secretary Ted Mitchell, a visionary whose ideas and moral force are helping to change the landscape of opportunity in higher education; and my Chief of Staff, Emma Vadehra, who understands how to accomplish change in education as well as anyone else in this country. I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to announce a replacement for John to carry out the duties of Deputy Secretary soon, and I owe this team enormous thanks for their dedication and sacrifice.
I owe a similarly profound thanks to each of you. The work of this Department is exceptionally ambitious – to ensure that every student in this country enjoys genuine opportunity to learn, to grow, to excel. As a comparatively small team, often under challenging conditions and timelines, our staff has continued to offer example after example of dedication beyond the call of duty. I’m honored to have led you, and delighted by what good hands this Department will be in. I ask each of you that you offer John and his team the same commitment I’ve witnessed from you.
As I think about our shared work here, and about what it has meant to spend seven years serving the President and the country, I think about two students I’ve met in recent years. The first is Brandon, a young man I met at a round table discussion in Denver as part of My Brother’s Keeper. Brandon told a story I will never forget, about how his life had slipped off the tracks in elementary school. He had scrawled graffiti in a bathroom stall when he was 11 years old. His school, which had zero tolerance discipline policies, called the police, and he ended up being sentenced to pick up trash along the highway alongside adult criminals. He also ended up with a criminal record, and years later, when he tried to become a police officer, the department turned him away because of that record. For me, Brandon will always be a reminder of the distance we have to go as adults, to do right by our young people.
The second person is Russhaun Johnson. Russhaun had the deck stacked against him growing up in Des Moines, Iowa. His dad wasn’t around; he lived with his mom, who was a drug addict, until she was incarcerated for more than four years while he was in middle and high school. No one in his family was there for him, and many nights, he slept on park benches. He described himself as “two steps behind” from the start in school. What got Russhaun on a track to success, he says, was his teachers and counselors, who helped him see himself as the brilliant young man he is. He’s now an accomplished poet, and the president of his senior class. A few weeks ago, the whole country had the opportunity to witness his brilliance, as he introduced President Obama to a cheering crowd on the first day of our bus tour. Russhaun told the audience he is planning to go to college to become a teacher, because he wants to offer a next generation of young people the possibility that the caring educators
around him helped him see in himself. He is an example, to me, of what can go right for our children when our schools understand who they can become – and act on that knowledge.

When I think about the life paths of these two young people, I know that no one will fight harder for students like them than John King and the team he will lead here. I thank you for being part of that team, and promise you that you are in good hands.

Australia’s Gun Law Did Not Prevent Shooting at Police Headquarters

Australia’s Gun Law Did Not Prevent Shooting at Police Headquarters

Gun laws are about confiscation, not ending violence

Australia’s Gun Law Did Not Prevent Shooting at Police Headquarters
by Kurt Nimmo | Infowars.com | October 2, 2015

Following the shooting in Oregon on Thursday, CNN cited Australia’s 1996 gun law as an example to follow.
“Proponents of the Second Amendment deny that tightening gun laws will lead to a drop in mass shootings. But, following similar tragedies in the UK, Finland, Norway and Australia, widespread gun law changes have been implemented, often with dramatic results,” CNN reports.
And yet restrictive laws placed on the ownership of firearms did not prevent a shooting on Friday outside the New South Wales state police headquarters in western Sydney, Australia.
Prime Minister John Howard’s 1996 “reform” was not designed to prevent mass murder. It was enacted to confiscated firearms.
Since the passage of the law there has been a number of mass murders in the country. Following the Port Arthur massacre which prompted the government to confiscate firearms from law-abiding citizens, the following incidents occurred:
  • 12 people where killed by three serial murderers in Snowtown.
  • An arsonist murdered 15 backpackers in Childers, Queensland.
  • A student went on a shooting spree killing two in Melbourne.
  • An arson attack killed 10 in Churchill, Victoria.
  • A man beat to death five people of the Lin family in North Epping, New South Wales.
  • 11 people were burned to death by a nurse in Sydney.
  • A man shot to death his wife and three children in Lockhart, South Wales.
  • A woman in Cairns, Queensland stabbed to death eight children.
Following every mass shooting in the United States, politicians and anti-Second Amendment advocates cite the Australian example.
However, studies show the law did not end violence, although it did reduce suicide by gun.
Are Americans willing to forfeit the Second Amendment to reduce suicide?
The law “robbed Australians of their right to self-defense and empowered criminals, all without delivering the promised reduction in violent crime,” the NRA notes.
Gun laws are not implemented to reduce murder, mayhem and criminality — they are enacted to take firearms away from citizens because government fears an armed populace.
“When gun control advocates say they want Australian gun control laws in the United States, what they are really saying is that they want gun confiscation in the United States,” writes the historian Varad Mehta.

Video: Previously unseen footage of 1955 nuke tests in Nevada
by RT | October 2, 2015

Six decades after the events, a series of unreleased videos has seen the light of day: four atomic explosions carried out by the United States in 1955, as part of Operation Teapot.
The operation was a series of fourteen nuclear test explosions carried out at the Nevada Test Site early that year, designed to further develop tactics for ground forces and improve America’s nuclear arsenal. Teapot was sanctioned by President Dwight Eisenhower in August 1954.
Bombs with low to moderate yields were tested to assess innovations implemented by the US, as it sought a new pattern fission device – a design that would be seen in later generations of weapons.

The new devices were meant for broad strategic applications, including air defense and anti-submarine warfare. A later test in 1956, called Operation Redwing would also see a more compact and lighter generation of nuclear weapons tested.
There is something awe-inspiring and incredibly eerie about witnessing a mushroom cloud in HD. The YouTube portal Atom Central, which is obsessed with nuclear history and atomic bombs, know this.

Blankenship’s judge opens questioning of potential jury candidates

Blankenship’s judge opens questioning of potential jury candidates

By Joel Ebert, Federal Courts Reporter and Ken Ward Jr.
Thursday, October 1, 2015

Jury selection began Thursday in the criminal trial of Don Blankenship, with members of the public able to watch — but not listen to — the questioning of potential jurors who will decide the former Massey Energy Co. CEO’s fate.
U.S. District Judge Irene Berger quizzed prospective jurors for nearly five hours on the initial day of an effort to seat an impartial jury to decide the conspiracy and fraud case prosecutors brought against Blankenship after an investigation following the Upper Big Branch Mine disaster.
Members of the public, the news media and families of miners killed at Upper Big Branch were barred from the courtroom where the jury selection was actually taking place, and were sequestered instead in another courtroom, equipped with a video feed but with sound that was inaudible for most of the day.
Blankenship, 65, faces charges that he conspired to violate mine safety standards before the Upper Big Branch Mine disaster occurred and, after the explosion, lied to securities regulators and investors about Massey safety policies — saying the company always tried to follow the rules — in an effort to stop stock prices from plummeting amid widespread news reports about problems at the company’s mines.
Unlike a court appearance in Beckley, when U.S. Marshals helped Blankenship come and go from the courthouse without facing news cameras, the defendant walked up the steps of the Robert C. Byrd United States Courthouse in Charleston Thursday morning in plain view after exiting a light blue minivan that pulled up outside the building’s main entrance on Virginia Street.
“Yes,” Blankenship said with a smile, when asked if he still maintains that he is innocent of the charges against him.
Blankenship alleges the case against him is a “vindictive” and “selective” prosecution being carried out by his political enemies. In court records, his lawyers have hinted at a defense that says Blankenship was really a mine safety leader but also a coal company CEO whose job it was to push for lower costs and higher coal production.
Prosecutors say Blankenship conspired to put production ahead of safety and to hide the resulting hazards from federal inspectors. They plan a parade of former Massey officials and miners and a host of internal company records they argue implicate Blankenship.
Thursday afternoon, Blankenship’s lawyers filed a motion that urged Berger to prohibit prosecutors from presenting as evidence citations issued to the Upper Big Branch Mine by the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration. Defense lawyers said the government plans to try to introduce these citations without calling to testify the inspectors who wrote them. The defense says that, without the inspectors testifying, the citations are hearsay and would deprive Blankenship of his right to confront his accusers.
So far in the case, Berger has not gone along with Blankenship’s arguments that he can’t get a fair trial in Southern West Virginia, although she did move the trial from Beckley to Charleston to enlarge the potential jury pool and bring in some non-coal counties.
On Thursday, court officials said Berger called in the first third of the 300 prospective jurors who previously had been told to fill out a written questionnaire that required personal information and asked things such as whether the jurors had ever belonged to a labor union or knew anyone who had been killed in a coal mine. Berger has not made public the juror responses.
The judge also has not made public any information describing her jury-selection rules for the case or her reasons for those rules.
For example, it is not clear if defense lawyers were granted the 10 additional pre-emptory challenges they had sought. Typically, defense lawyers in this sort of case could strike 10 jurors and prosecutors six jurors for any reason. Other prospective jurors also could be released for “cause,” with approval of the judge. Under the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, criminal defendants are entitled to “a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district” where the crimes are alleged to have occurred.
When news representatives and family members arrived at the courthouse Thursday morning, they were herded into a first-floor snack bar with soda machines and ESPN playing on the television.
Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Tim Goode informed those present that the 100 jurors called for questioning that day would fill the courtroom. Only attorneys and jurors would be allowed in. The news media and other spectators would be sent to a separate courtroom, where they could watch via video feed. Not until 10 a.m., an hour after court was scheduled to start, did security officers escort spectators to the other courtroom. Then, when Berger began asking questions of individual jurors, she called them to the bench and spectators could not hear what was being said via the video feed.
The video feed showed prosecutors and defense lawyers huddled at the judge’s bench as jurors were called up, one by one, and questioned by the judge. Only a few parts of the process — and none of the juror’s answers — could be heard by those in the separate courtroom.
Berger could be heard announcing the names of jurors she wanted to question next, but then the sound feed to the other courtroom was turned off or inaudible. At one point, the judge appeared to have forgotten to turn the sound off and parts of a question of one juror could be heard, until U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin reminded the judge to turn off her microphone.
Later, Goodwin would not say how many jurors had been released from serving on the case.
“A number of jurors were questioned,” Goodwin said after court ended for the day at about 5 p.m. “There are more to go.”
Family members of the miners killed at Upper Big Branch who had made the trip to Charleston for the jury selection left after they learned they weren’t going to be able to hear the proceedings.
“We are anxious for justice to be done, and it will be done,” said Dr. Judy Jones Peterson, whose brother, Dean Jones, was among the 29 miners who died in the April 5, 2010, explosion.
Earlier in the case, Blankenship’s lawyers filed a motion that urged Berger to have all questioning of potential jurors occur in private, without other jurors or the public being able to hear what was discussed. The judge has not issued a public ruling on that motion.
Wednesday afternoon, Sean McGinley, a lawyer for the Charleston Gazette-Mail and West Virginia Public Broadcasting, filed a motion asking Berger to ensure that the jury selection process occurs in public and to provide the news media with access to trial exhibits on a daily basis. The judge has not publicly ruled on that motion.
Thursday morning, the Gazette-Mail sent a letter to Berger requesting that she allow one pool reporter into the courtroom of potential jurors. The judge has not publicly responded to that letter.

Former Security Guard at Oregon College: Lockdown Procedures Were a "Deathtrap"
by Paul Joseph Watson | October 2, 2015

A former security guard who worked at the Umpqua Community College where nine people were shot dead yesterday exclusively reveals to Infowars that the college voted against hiring armed security guards just last year and that inadequate lockdown procedures ensured the campus was a “deathtrap” for potential victims in an active shooter situation.
Although wishing to remain anonymous, the individual provided us with his photo ID and a reference which confirmed his employment at the college. The man is also in close contact with people who still work at the college.
Confirming media reports that the college only had one unarmed security guard on duty, the individual reveals that the schoolboard voted just last year against providing armed security on campus.
“What they haven’t released is that the school board recently made massive cuts to the security staff, among other staff. All in an attempt to free up money in the budgets to spend on all the shiny new construction projects occurring on campus the last couple of years,” he writes. “The schoolboard routinely puts pet projects ahead of providing service to the students. Just last year the schoolboard voted against providing armed security officers for the campus.”
He also lifts the lid on how the lockdown procedures for an active shooter on campus, which were practiced just last week, ensured that the college was a “deathtrap” for potential victims.
“Just last week there was a training for staff on active shooter lockdown procedures,” he writes. “The college was pleased to note that yesterday the lockdown procedures worked as they should have. But in reality they are a joke. The way the buildings are designed is that it is a deathtrap to stay locked in a classroom. The majority of classrooms have one entrance/exit which exits into a covered outdoor breezeway. The wall that has the door to be locked down are glass from floor to ceiling. There is no cover, and other than window blinds no concealment.”
The individual’s criticism of the college’s lockdown procedures echoes concerns voiced by some that such policies only turn students into sitting ducks and prevent them from leaving the scene as quickly as possible.
The individual also notes how the college’s $40,000 dollar emergency notification system did not fully work, remarking how, “No notifications to students and faculty who were off campus or on their way to were sent.”
The security officer also clears up the confusion surrounding whether the campus was a ‘gun free zone’ or not. Although the college had a rule that prohibited guns on campus – including water pistols – state law allows concealed carry.
“The catch is that the school does not encourage it but they are legally powerless to stop it,” writes the security officer. “I personally know of one student, who was interviewed by Breitbart, and of one employee who had concealed handguns on campus yesterday.”
As we reported earlier, an Air Force veteran with a concealed carry license was prepared to violate the ‘gun free zone’ rule and attempt to apprehend the shooter, but he was stopped from doing so by college staff.
