Dear Reader,

Here is a great read for you this morning that you can share with family, and especially young people.

It’s the real story about Thanksgiving that you probably haven’t heard.

It was written in 2014 by Richard J. Maybury, of Mises.org.

                       The Great Thanksgiving Hoax

Each year at this time, schoolchildren all over America are taught the official Thanksgiving story, and newspapers, radio, TV, and magazines devote vast amounts of time and space to it. It is all very colorful and fascinating.

It is also very deceiving. This official story is nothing like what really happened. It is a fairy tale, a whitewashed and sanitized collection of half-truths which divert attention away from Thanksgiving's real meaning.

The official story has the Pilgrims boarding the Mayflower, coming to America, and establishing the Plymouth colony in the winter of 1620-21. This first winter is hard, and half the colonists die. But the survivors are hard working and tenacious, and they learn new farming techniques from the Indians. The harvest of 1621 is bountiful. The pilgrims hold a celebration, and give thanks to God. They are grateful for the wonderful new abundant land He has given them.

The official story then has the Pilgrims living more or less happily ever after, each year repeating the first Thanksgiving. Other early colonies also have hard times at first, but they soon prosper and adopt the annual tradition of giving thanks for this prosperous new land called America.  The problem with this official story is that the harvest of 1621 was not bountiful, nor were the colonists hard-working or tenacious. 1621 was a famine year and many of the colonists were lazy thieves.

In his History of Plymouth Plantation, the governor of the colony, William Bradford, reported that the colonists went hungry for years because they refused to work in the field. They preferred instead to steal food. He says the colony was riddled with "corruption," and with "confusion and discontent." The crops were small because "much was stolen both by night and day, before it became scarce eatable."

In the harvest feasts of 1621 and 1622, "all had their hungry bellies filled," but only briefly. The prevailing condition during those years was not the abundance the official story claims, it was famine and death. The first "Thanksgiving" was not so much a celebration as it was the last meal of condemned men.

But in subsequent years something changes. The harvest of 1623 was different. Suddenly, "instead of famine now God gave them plenty," Bradford wrote, "and the face of things was changed, to the rejoicing of the hearts of many, for which they blessed God." Thereafter, he wrote, "any general want or famine hath not been amongst them since to this day." In fact, in 1624, so much food was produced that the colonists were able to begin exporting corn.

What happened? After the poor harvest of 1622, writes Bradford, "they began to think how they might raise as much corn as they could, and obtain a better crop." They began to question their form of economic organization.

This had required that "all profits & benefits that are got by trade, traffic, trucking, working, fishing, or any other means" were to be placed in the common stock of the colony, and that, "all such persons as are of this colony, are to have their meat, drink, apparel, and all provisions out of the common stock." A person was to put into the common stock all he could, and take only what he needed.

This "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need" was an early form of socialism, and it is why the Pilgrims were starving. Bradford writes that "young men that were most able and fit for labor and service" complained about being forced to "spend their time and strength to work for other men's wives and children." Also, "the strong, or man of parts, had no more in division of victuals and clothes, than he that was weak." So the young and strong refused to work and the total amount of food produced was never adequate.

To rectify this situation, in 1623 Bradford abolished socialism. He gave each household a parcel of land and told them they could keep what they produced, or trade it away as they saw fit. In other words, he replaced socialism with a free market, and that was the end of the famines.

Many early groups of colonists set up socialist states, all with the same terrible results. At Jamestown, established in 1607, out of every shipload of settlers that arrived, less than half would survive their first twelve months in America. Most of the work was being done by only one-fifth of the men, the other four-fifths choosing to be parasites. In the winter of 1609-10, called "The Starving Time," the population fell from five-hundred to sixty. Then the Jamestown colony was converted to a free market, and the results were every bit as dramatic as those at Plymouth. In 1614 Colony Secretary Ralph Hamor wrote that after the switch there was "plenty of food, which every man by his own industry may easily and doth procure." He said that when the socialist system had prevailed, "we reaped not so much corn from the labors of thirty men as three men have done for themselves now."

Before these free markets were established, the colonists had nothing for which to be thankful. They were in the same situation as Ethiopians are today, and for the same reasons. But after free markets were established, the resulting abundance was so dramatic that annual Thanksgiving celebrations became common throughout the colonies, and in 1863 Thanksgiving became a national holiday.

Thus, the real meaning of Thanksgiving, deleted from the official story, is: Socialism does not work; the one and only source of abundance is free markets, and we thank God we live in a country where we can have them.

His name is Ed Mosley and he’s 86 years old. He’s reached a point in his life where he wants to contribute but he doesn’t know what to do. I know how that feels because my mom is 92 years old and she tries her best to stay active.

Mosley’s spirit of wanting to help and bring smiles to families’ faces is therapeutic for him as it would be for happy people who want to make everyone they come in contact with to feel a sense of love and warmth.

Mosely didn’t know how to help, so he joined a class at his assistant living residence that taught him how to knit premie hats. That was all he needed and now he’s an assembly line for producing premie hats for little babies!
(This despite his age and condition of hands and fingers!)

Ed Moseley can no longer play golf. The 86 year old with limited mobility can no longer dance, but the retired engineer recently led the way at his senior living community by demonstrating you are never too old to learn new things – and help others.

It all started in July when staff at seven Dogwood Forest Assisted Living communities urged residents to be part of an outreach program to knit caps for preemies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Northside Hospital. But there was only one problem, or so it seemed.

Moseley, who lives at the Acworth residence, didn’t know how to knit but, with the support of family, Moseley taught himself how to knit using a loom kit. Since then, he’s knitted over 50 preemie caps in a rainbow of colors. He’s also inspired others to learn to knit, including other residents and children at his granddaughter’s school (where his granddaughter is a teacher).

Before long, people were dropping off completed knitted caps to Moseley’s room and dropping off balls of yarn for him to knit. Staff at the residence also knitted caps and were also encouraging, Moseley said.

“When they started this project a few months back, I told my daughter about it and I said, ‘How can I knit? What do I need to do?’ and, bless her heart, she went to Jo-Anns [Fabrics] and got a kit, yarn and instruction kit for me. So I started slowly and learned.  It just takes patience,’” he said.

Such a great story, and I am glad Mr. Mosley found a way to be productive and to make others happy.  We need more Americans like this around so we don’t lose our way.

A new Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report circulating in the Kremlin today states that up to 70 transport aircraft owned and/or leased by the US-based Frontier Services Group (FSG) have begun departing the Persian Gulf federation of United Arab Emirates (UAE) with their destinations being the United States and that are “packed/loaded” with arms and forces belonging to one of the most feared mercenary forces (private army) owned and managed by Reflex Responses Management Consultancy (RRMC)—and that is being viewed by Russia as the start of a second American Civil War.   

Critical to note about both of these companies, FSG and RRMC, is that they are owned by Erik Prince who is not only one of the world’s acknowledged experts on creating private armies, he is also a loyal supporter of President-elect Donald Trump and whose sister, Betsy DeVos, was appointed yesterday by Trump to be his new administrations main leader in dismantling all of America’s leftist indoctrination centers—that in the US are called “schools”.

Upon the Obama-Clinton regime taking power in 2009, Erik Prince was outed by Hillary Clinton as a CIA operative while his company, Blackwater USA, came under ferocious attack by the US mainstream leftist media—after which he sold his company (in 2010) and moved to the UAE’s capital city of Abu Dhabi where he took up residence in one of the first luxury villas built at the Trump International Golf Club.

Mr. Sajwani, on the other hand, who is President-elect Trump’s business partner, became alarmed at Mr. Al Habtoor’s financing of Islamic State terrorists and contacted Trump earlier this year explaining the full scope of this plot and Hillary Clinton’s involvement, after which Trump called for a ban on Muslims entering the US and to which Mr. Al Habtoor responded to by threatening that if Trump was elected, the UAE would pull billions of investments out of America.  

Having the world’s 6^th largest reserves in natural gas, Mr. Al Habtoor’s Al Habtoor Group “master plan” in financing Islamic State terrorists was intended to destroy the governments of Syria and Iraq in order to build a pipeline to the European Union which at this time neither Syria or Iraq will allow as they prefer working with Iran  and, with Russian military power now siding against these Islamic terrorists, the only way the Al Habtoor-Clinton-ISIS plan could ever work would be in the aftermath of World War III.

With President-elect Trump’s private company planning to build more hotels throughout the Middle East in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, America’s new leader’s aversion to World War III is not only justified on an economic basis for his families fortunes, but also will allow him to spend trillions of dollars in the United States instead of on that countries needless wars in the cause of globalism.

A bot is pulling cash from a central fund, and giving it out at a pre determined rate.

Go to Jill Stein's fundraiser page and watch the progress. You will see that her funding is coming in at a PERFECTLY CONSISTENT 160,000 an hour. I watched this yesterday and last night carefully, and noted that at night, when everyone is sleeping and right through the time when the whole world slows down, her donations for this came in like clockwork, with no deviation from the steady pace whatsoever.

The only way that can happen is if a bot was set up to fake her getting donations from multiple people, and whoever set it up did not consider the fact that practically everything would come from America, and practically everyone is asleep at 3AM. LAST NIGHT IT SHOULD HAVE SLOWED DOWN. IT DID NOT. IT JUST MARCHED RIGHT TOWARD THE FINISH LIKE AN OBEDIENT SOLDIER. It went straight to 2.65 million by six AM. I can calculate: IT WILL GO TO 4.5 MILLION IN 28.125 HOURS. Oh, a few people will pitch in for real, so I'll say 27 hours.

EASY MATH. JILL STEIN WILL GET THE 4.5 MILLION SHE NEEDS BETWEEN 4 AND SIX PM TONIGHT, DEPENDING UPON HOW MUCH REAL PEOPLE PITCH IN. Actual math progression based on the steady rate lands squarely on 6:10 PM tonight, but I am guessing a few real people will pay in.

Don't be fooled by the slick language on the donation page, if those donations did not virtually stop at night they are not coming from the American people.

They had a bunch of fake computer consultants state there were voting anomalies in favor of Trump, and that they proved Russia rigged the vote. On these grounds, green party candidate Jill Stein called for a recount, and was handed all the money she needed to do it in a single day. In the background, leading up to this, (obviously) they wrote in a huge number of fake ballots for Hillary. The recount will discover all these new votes for Hillary, and she's going in. AT A BARE MINIMUM, THEY WILL APPOINT SOMEONE OTHER THAN TRUMP. They would not be doing this unless they knew they had it in the bag.

Trump then quoted Abraham Lincoln’s Thanksgiving Day Proclamation, in which he declared the national holiday in the midst of America’s Civil War in 1864.

‘President Lincoln called upon Americans to speak with one voice and one heart,’ Trump said, ‘That’s just what we have to do.’

Trump then referenced the country’s ‘long and bruising political campaign’.

‘Emotions are raw and tensions just don’t heal overnight,’ he said, seemingly alluding to protests that erupted all over the nation after he was elected.

‘It doesn’t go quickly, unfortunately,’ he continued. ‘But we have before us the chance to make history together.’

Ironically, the agency on the other end of intimidation is the Denver County Sheriff’s Office.

Denver County’s sheriff office has been slapped with a fine by the Department of Justice (DOJ) because it refused to hire non-citizens as deputies.

From the beginning of 2015 through last March, the Denver Sheriff Department went on a major hiring binge, adding more than 200 new deputies. But those jobs ended up only going to citizens, because the department made citizenship a stated requirement on the job application. The department admitted as much in a new settlement with the U.S. government, which requires it to pay a $10,000 fine.

The department will also have to comb through all of its job applications from the past two years, identifying immigrants who were excluded from the hiring process and giving them due consideration.

How can someone be hired to enforce the law, if they are living in violation and ignorance of it?

How can counties, state agencies, small businesses or individuals be forced to hire in violation of the law, in order to comply with non-discrimination?

Obviously the system has a logical loop failure, either that, or someone wants this country to eat itself.

Reddit CEO Steve Huffman has confessed to modifying the posts of some users on the most visible Donald Trump-supporting "subreddit" community after they repeatedly slung verbal abuse in his direction.

 The story begins earlier this week, when The New York Times published a report on Comet Ping Pong, a Washington DC pizza place that a false news item on social media had pegged as the center of a child-abuse ring run by Hillary Clinton and Democratic National Committee chair John Podesta, despite a lack of any evidence.

Following that report, Reddit took steps to shut down the "r/Pizzagate" subreddit community, which had the stated goal of proving the existence of a conspiracy centering on Comet Ping Pong. "We don’t want witchhunts on our site," says the warning that replaced the Pizzagate page on Reddit.

The move to shut down r/Pizzagate proved controversial to users of "r/The_Donald," Reddit's most popular community for supporters of Donald Trump. Those users repeatedly left comments to the effect of "f**k u/spez" and other forms of abuse, including Huffman's "u/spez" Reddit name in the post to make sure he was notified of each new message.

On Wednesday afternoon, members of "The_Donald" noticed that their posts had changed without their knowledge or consent: Instead of referencing Huffman himself, the posts now hurled the same expletives at the moderators of the "The_Donald" community.

Angry "The _Donald" members accused Reddit leadership of modifying or otherwise censoring their posts — which turned out to be correct, when Huffman posted the following comment, confessing that it was him personally who was performing the changes (with expletives taken out):

"Hey Everyone,

Yep. I messed with the “fuck u/spez ” comments, replacing "spez" with r/the_donald mods for about an hour. It’s been a long week here trying to unwind the r/pizzagate stuff. As much as we try to maintain a good relationship with you all, it does get old getting called a pedophile constantly. As the CEO, I shouldn’t play such games, and it’s all fixed now. Our community team is pretty pissed at me, so I most assuredly won’t do this again.

Huffman took the role as Reddit CEO in mid-2015, following the departure of interim CEO Ellen Pao. Pao left Reddit in the wake of the "Reddit Revolt," which saw members of the site stage protests after the controversial firing of a well-liked employee.

'It tastes like a milkshake but smooth': Peta fool horrified taste testers into drinking 'dogs' milk' in campaign against dairy industry

People were left disgusted in London last week after being tricked into drinking 'dog's milk' as part of a new animal rights campaign.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) hosted a focus group and went out and about on the streets to offer people free samples of a 'new' milk.

After asking them how it tasted and what they thought of it, they dropped the big reveal that it was actually from a dog, causing a range of horrified reactions, from spitting to swearing.

The reactions were filmed as part of the campaign with the video put online aiming to discourage people from drinking cow's milk.

Those who drank the milk were asked to describe its taste, texture and appearance, with responses including that it tasted 'sweet', looked 'whiter than white' and was 'like a milkshake but smooth'.

But the mood quickly changed after the truth was revealed, with one woman shouting 'Why would you drink this madness' at the focus group leader.

Another horrified taste-tester added: 'I drank dog's milk? Shame!'

One woman was so perplexed she repeatedly asked the woman from Peta to clarify what she meant by dogs milk, before adding: 'You mean that this is produced by a dog?'

A sneak peak of the Peta campaign is then revealed, featuring a close up of a dog's teats, causing another focus group member to shout 'Don't use that picture!'

The film ends with a message from Peta opposing the consumption of cow's milk.

It said: 'Dog's milk. Cat's milk. Rat's milk. Cow's milk. We're the only animal to drink another species' milk. Isn't it all a bit gross?'

But Peta didn't actually give any of the test subjects dog's milk, instead giving them soya milk.
