Clarification, it's not a gold standard, , IT IS AN ASSET BASED ALGORITHM BASED ON EACH COUNTRIES IN GROUND ABOVE GROUND ASSETS AND GDP.
Gold Tonnage is component of it.
Pegging the dollar to gold IMO would be fixed, at say $1200.00 An once.:-)
currency warfare would be back in swing if open speculation were allowed.
Pegging to national debt makes no sense as Tier 1 wipes it out.

When currency is stabilized (anchored) by assets. It begins to buy more as inflation is zero.
A Chevy pick up in 1971 cost %1500.00. The same truck today with massive fiat currency flooding causing insane inflation. Now costs $28,000.00 for the same truck.
Economics tells by experience commodities go down with asset backed currency, Same $1.00 buys more because it is worth more. 12 $100.00 dollar bills buys 1 once of gold from the UST.
You get massive deflation which drives up the standard of living.
