US Navy's electronic warfare training to put humans and animals at risk

(NaturalNews) The American military is planning to conduct intense electromagnetic warfare training exercises in a primitive forest area of Washington state this fall despite a lack of proper evidence showing that such exercises are safe. According to Truthout, the U.S. Navy will fly 36 jets at 1,200 feet above the Olympic National Forest, potentially for 16 hours a day and for 260 days, putting animal and human populations at serious risk.

Part of the plan involves erecting 15 mobile ground units within the park that will blast electromagnetic radiation (EMR) signals to supersonic Growler warplanes, a war games exercise that the Navy initially tried to hide from the public. Now that the cat's out of the bag, the Navy is claiming that the exercises are not a threat, though the military arm has provided absolutely no evidence to back this claim.

Even so, Dean Millett, the district ranger for the Pacific district of the Olympic National Forest, has issued a draft notice agreeing with the Navy's unsubstantiated claim of "no significant impact" to people or animals. This decision has cleared the way for the exercises to proceed, even though previous military and other scientific documents show that electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) can cause cellular DNA damage, leading to cancer and infertility.

"We know the claims that you only have to worry about heating effects are false," stated Dr. Martin Pall, a professor emeritus of biochemistry and medical sciences at Washington State University, to Truthout about the Navy's claims that its EMF exercises are safe because they won't emit thermal/heating effects. "All the assurances of safety are based on that assumption. So this whole thing is of great concern."

Pall's understanding of EMF radiation is extensive. He published his own paper citing 24 separate studies showing that EMFs are not only dangerous but distinctly misrepresented by the official safety standards for their use. The idea that the only thing people have to worry about is the heating aspect of EMFs is inherently false, he says.

Reams of published science reveal that EMFs are harmful even at non-thermal levels, and that their biological effects are highly concerning. In fact, regular exposure to EMFs even from common consumer products like wireless routers and mobile phones is damaging to humans, leading to conditions like leukemia and infertility.

"This has been going on for years, and people have been assured of safety based on these things and it is absolute nonsense," said Pall. "So we have a situation now where most people in the world are exposed to microwave frequency radiation based on scientific studies that have no scientific merit."

What this means regarding the Navy's planned experiments is that both animals and humans living nearby will face health threats from an arm of the government that is supposed to protect them. The Navy's own published science contradicts what it's claiming about the training exercises, and those entrusted with rooting this out are instead concealing it.

"What the Navy is doing we have no idea because they don't tell us... but from what little they have told us, they are using a lot of pulse fields in wavelengths that are damaging to us, to biological organisms," added Pall. "They give us not one iota of evidence of what biological effects are produced by those fields, and don't even tell us what fields they are using. You only find empty statements of 'don't worry about these things.'"

(NaturalNews) The number of Americans receiving food stamps exceeds 45 million – a level which has remained relatively constant for more than four years now. That figure accounts for nearly 20 percent of the population of the country.

In 1969, there were 2,800,000 Americans in the food stamp program. Since then the number has increased more than 15-fold.

In the midst of a sluggish economic "recovery" (one which many consider non-existent), there is little doubt that a large percentage of these recipients are indeed struggling to feed their families and deserving of assistance, as the gap between the rich and poor in our nation grows ever wider.

'Better Off Working'

But it's generally acknowledged that there are widespread abuses of the system. Aside from countless instances of outright fraud, millions of those dependent on SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) should be encouraged to find work, according to many experts.

Maura Corrigan of the American Enterprise Institute told The Washington Free Beacon:

"Our nation's simple three-word mantra should be: 'Better Off Working.' Social safety-net programs, including SNAP, should expect and encourage work—and the dignity and responsibility that accompany it—from those who are able to do so. ...

"Rather than promoting self-sufficiency, SNAP's predominant track record over the past decade has been to add participants to its rolls. Also, its eligibility definitions are in many cases vague, allowing it to deny fraud, waste, and abuse in the program, despite the reports of such behavior from citizens and caseworkers."

In June 2015, a Gallup poll reported that during the first quarter of the year, 15.8 percent of Americans reported struggling to afford food. According to Gallup, this represented a decrease in the same period from the year before, when 17.4 said they struggled to feed their families.

If that were true, then why is nearly 20 percent of the population still receiving food stamps?

EXCLUSIVE: The FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of private email as secretary of state has expanded to look at whether the possible “intersection” of Clinton Foundation work and State Department business may have violated public corruption laws, three intelligence sources not authorized to speak on the record told Fox News.

This new investigative track is in addition to the focus on classified material found on Clinton’s personal server.  "The agents are investigating the possible intersection of Clinton Foundation donations, the dispensation of State Department contracts and whether regular processes were followed," one source said. 

Clinton, speaking to the Des Moines Register, on Monday pushed back on the details of a second investigative track. According to reporter Jennifer Jacobs, Clinton said Monday she has heard nothing from the FBI.  "No, there’s nothing like that that is happening," Clinton said, according to a tweet from Jacobs.

Experts including a former senior FBI agent said the bureau does not have to notify the subject of an investigation. The development follows press reports over the past year about the potential overlap of State Department and Clinton Foundation work, and questions over whether donors benefited from their contacts inside the administration.

The Clinton Foundation is a 'public charity', known as a 501(c)(3). It had grants and contributions in excess of $144 million in 2013, the most current available data.  

Inside the FBI, pressure is growing to pursue the case.  One intelligence source told Fox News that FBI agents would be “screaming” if a prosecution is not pursued because “many previous public corruption cases have been made and successfully prosecuted with much less evidence than what is emerging in this investigation.” 

The FBI is particularly on edge in the wake of how the case of former CIA Director David Petraeus was handled. One of the three sources said some FBI agents felt Petraeus was given a slap on the wrist for sharing highly classified information with his mistress and biographer, Paula Broadwell, as well as lying to FBI agents about his actions. Petraeus pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in March 2015 after a two-plus-year federal investigation in which Attorney General Eric Holder initially declined to prosecute. In the Petraeus case, the exposure of classified information was assessed to be limited.

By contrast, in the Clinton case, the number of classified emails has risen to at least 1,340. A 2015 appeal by the State Department to challenge the “Top Secret” classification of at least two emails failed and, as Fox News first reported, is now considered a settled matter. 

It is unclear which of the two lines of inquiry was opened first by the FBI and whether they eventually will be combined and presented before a special grand jury. 

One intelligence source said the public corruption angle dates back to at least April 2015.  On their official website, the FBI lists "public corruption as the FBI's top criminal priority." 

Fox News is told that about 100 special agents assigned to the investigations also were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements, with as many as 50 additional agents on “temporary duty assignment,” or TDY. 

The request to sign a new NDA could reflect that agents are handling the highly classified material in the emails, or serve as a reminder not to leak about the case, or both. 

"The pressure on the lead agents is brutal," a second source said. "Think of it like a military operation, you might need tanks called in along with infantry." 

Separately, a former high-ranking State Department official emphasized to Fox News that Clinton’s deliberate non-use of her government email address may be increasingly “significant.” 

“It is virtually automatic when one comes on board at the State Department to be assigned an email address,” the source said.

“It would have taken an affirmative act not to have one assigned ... and it would also mean it was all planned out before she took office. This certainly raises questions about the so-called legal advice she claimed to have received from inside the State Department that what she was doing was proper."

On Sunday, when asked about her email practices while secretary of state, Clinton insisted to CBS News’ "Face The Nation," "There is no there, there."  Is this like Bill Clinton saying "It depends on what the definition of 'is' - is!"

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said with a straight face on Monday that stringent background checks are needed to “keep guns out of the hands” of Islamic radicals who steal weapons.

Social media responded with derision after Earnest spoke to reporters about Edward Archer, 30, who fired 13 rounds from a stolen gun last Thursday at Philadelphia police officer Jesse Hartnett. The 33-year-old cop was hit three times.

Archer was arrested Thursday and charged with attempted murder, assault and aggravated assault.


Earnest also said the White House was “wondering” whether Archer, who confessed to acting in the name of Islam, had committed an act of terrorism. He then said stricter background checks are necessary to “keep guns out of the hands of people like [Archer],” the Washington Times reported.

“It is relevant whether this individual was motivated by demons inside his own mind or demons on social media,” Earnest said. “We are certainly closely monitoring this case.”

The president issued 10 executive orders last Tuesday changing the way gun sales are monitored and carried out, redefining a gun “dealer” to include many people who sell even a single gun annually.

Twitter users reacted immediately to Earnest’s error.

“Last I recall, stealing guns from the police was already illegal, so what are you suggesting we do?” asked Josh Perry.

“Perhaps a background check on the cop that reported his/her gun stolen would make Josh and his boss happy,” added another user, Twitchy reported.

 

Earnest’s question about Archer’s mind was partially addressed last week by Philadelphia police Commissioner Richard Ross.

“He doesn’t appear to be a stupid individual, just an extremely violent one,” Ross said during a news conference Jan. 8, NJ.com reported. “According to him, police defend laws that are contrary to the teachings of the Quran.”

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney used the same press conference to say Islam had nothing to do with the attempted killing.

“In no way, shape or form does anyone in this room believe that Islam or the teaching of Islam has anything to do with what you’ve seen on this screen,” Kenney said, WND reported. “That is abhorrent. It’s just terrible, and it does not represent the religion in any way, shape or form or any of its teachings.”

Philadelphia police released a statement Sunday on Facebook saying Archer, who recently took trips to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, appears to have been linked to Islamic radicals.

“The citizen [tipster] alleged the defendant had an affiliation to a group with radical beliefs. The Philadelphia Police Department has alerted all department personnel of this matter and will continue to have officers work with a partner until further notice,” the statement said.

Asim Abdur Rashid, a local imam at West Philadelphia’s Masjid Mujahideen mosque, told Reuters on Sunday that Archer was “intelligent, and he was a regular dude.”

A video shot in a German school shows “integrated” Muslim migrants speaking about how they find Germans “disgusting” and that the country would be better off if they all disappeared.

 

 

 

The clip shows a woman speaking to migrant teenagers in a high school. She asks them if they know what the word “integration” means, to which one girl responds, “It means to exclude others.”

“No, that’s precisely what it’s not,” responds the woman.

When asked if they have any German friends, the group of teens laugh before one responds, “Me? Not a single one.”

“Me neither, not a single one,” responds another girl.

When asked why they don’t have any German friends, one teen states, “Because they don’t belong to us. I cannot be like them.”

Asked if they like Germans, one girl asserts, “If you hang out with Germans, they do different things than you, for example eating pork. I’m disgusted by them to be honest.”

She continues: “Look, if all migrants would stay in Germany and if all the Germans would disappear for just a single day, nobody would notice.”

The clip is another disturbing reminder that Germany is importing waves of people – over a million in 2015 alone – who even after supposedly “integrating” into society still harbor deep resentment for the host population.

Chancellor Angela Merkel is currently in the midst of a political crisis after over a thousand Muslim migrants in Cologne and other German cities sexually molested and robbed hundreds of German women on New Years Eve.

Cologne police initially tried to cover-up the scandal by asserting that the night passed without incident. 

It also took days of social media outrage to even get major German news outlets to report on the story.

While President Obama claimed before his State of The Union Speech that there are no terror threats to the US, it has become apparent that his administration is actively stonewalling an investigation into hundreds of suspected terrorists ALREADY within the country.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

“Leading senators on Monday petitioned multiple Obama administration agencies to stop stonewalling a congressional investigation into the immigration histories of at least 113 foreign-born individuals implicated in terrorist operations after legally entering the United States, according to a copy of the letters.”

The Beacon also reported that 41 foreign-born individuals who legally entered the United States have been arrested for planning multiple terror attacks.

The report notes that Sens. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) and Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) have been attempting for months to prize information out of the White House regarding the potential terrorists.

“The American people are entitled to information on the immigration history of terrorists seeking to harm them,” Cruz and Sessions wrote to the secretaries of State and Homeland Security and the attorney general.

The Senators have been able to determine that around a dozen of the suspected terrorists were able to enter the US legally as refugees.

“Many more came through other immigration programs,” they wrote. “A number of immigrant terrorists were even approved for citizenship. Others are the U.S.-born children of foreign migrants whose presence in the country would not be possible but for the immigration of their parents.”

Some of the suspects are thought to be planning attacks inside the US, while others are providing support to ISIS.

The Senators lamented that the Obama administration is “continuing to stonewall the request even after a follow-up letter was sent subsequent to the San Bernardino terrorist attack.”

Astoundingly, the administration still has not provided immigration details of the two terrorists who perpetrated that attack.

Meanwhile, in happy fantasy head-in-the-sand land, Obama told NBC’s Matt Lauer on the morning of the SoTU speech that he is proud that the United States is not facing any “existential threat” in the final year of his presidency.

“It is sometimes important for people to step back and measure how far we’ve come,” Obama argued. “The economy right now is better than any other economy in the world by a significant margin. We remain the strongest nation on earth by far and there are no existential threats facing us.” […]

To clarify, Lauer asked about threats posed by by ISIS and other radical islamist terror groups, asking whether Obama believed his children will be “living in a world that is dealing with the threat of radical Islam on a daily basis?”

“I am absolutely confident we will have defeated ISIL,” Obama responded, without referring to the terror group as the JV squad.

A radical new approach to generating human organs is to grow them inside pigs or sheep.

Braving a funding ban put in place by America’s top health agency, some U.S. research centers are moving ahead with attempts to grow human tissue inside pigs and sheep with the goal of creating hearts, livers, or other organs needed for transplants.
The effort to incubate organs in farm animals is ethically charged because it involves adding human cells to animal embryos in ways that could blur the line between species.
Last September, in a reversal of earlier policy, the National Institutes of Healthannounced it would not support studies involving such “human-animal chimeras” until it had reviewed the scientific and social implications more closely.
The agency, in a statement, said it was worried about the chance that animals’ “cognitive state” could be altered if they ended up with human brain cells.
The NIH action was triggered after it learned that scientists had begun such experiments with support from other funding sources, including from California’s state stem-cell agency. The human-animal mixtures are being created by injecting human stem cells into days-old animal embryos, then gestating these in female livestock.
Based on interviews with three teams, two in California and one in Minnesota, MIT Technology Review estimates that about 20 pregnancies of pig-human or sheep-human chimeras have been established during the last 12 months in the U.S., though so far no scientific paper describing the work has been published, and none of the animals were brought to term.
The extent of the research was disclosed in part during presentations made at the NIH’s Maryland campus in November at the agency’s request. One researcher, Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte of the Salk Institute, showed unpublished data on more than a dozen pig embryo containing human cells. Another, from the University of Minnesota, provided photographs of a 62-day-old pig fetus in which the addition of human cells appeared to have reversed a congenital eye defect.
The experiments rely on a cutting-edge fusion of technologies, including recent breakthroughs in stem-cell biology and gene-editing techniques. By modifying genes, scientists can now easily change the DNA in pig or sheep embryos so that they are genetically incapable of forming a specific tissue. Then, by adding stem cells from a person, they hope the human cells will take over the job of forming the missing organ, which could then be harvested from the animal for use in a transplant operation.
“We can make an animal without a heart. We have engineered pigs that lack skeletal muscles and blood vessels,” says Daniel Garry, a cardiologist who leads a chimera project at the University of Minnesota. While such pigs aren’t viable, they can develop properly if a few cells are added from a normal pig embryo. Garry says he’s already melded two pigs in this way and recently won a $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Army, which funds some biomedical research, to try to grow human hearts in swine.

Washington Free Beacon  Since August, however, the Obama administration has stonewalled congressional efforts to obtain more detailed immigration histories of these individuals.

The disclosure of these additional 41 individuals linked to terror operations—many already identified as 'immigrants', others immigration histories shrouded in secrecy—has stoked further concerns about flaws in the U.S. screening process and is likely ?? to prompt further congressional inquiry into Obama administration efforts to withhold details about these suspects, sources said.

As the number of legal immigrants connected to terrorism continues to grow, the Obama administration has sought to quash congressional inquiries and rally its allies behind an effort to fund efforts to boost the number of immigrants and refugees from the Middle East.





Many of these immigrants have been caught by authorities planning terrorist attacks on American soil, while others were found to be involved in efforts to provide funding and material to ISIS, according to an internal list of migrant terrorists codified by congressional sources and viewed by the Free Beacon.

“A growing number of foreign-born terrorists are being identified operating within the United States, and yet the Administration will not provide any information about their immigrant histories,” said one senior congressional source apprised of the issue. “And one can only imagine that for every identified terrorist, there are many more individuals around them who are radicalized, extreme or otherwise detracting from American society in ways beyond the threat of terrorism alone.”





As congressional calls for increased screening methods go mostly ignored, local authorities are dealing with an uptick in terror-related crimes committed by legal immigrants.

On Thursday, the Justice Department accused two Iraqi refugees legally in the U.S. of conspiring to provide support to ISIS.

Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan, a 24-year-old Palestinian born Iraqi refugee who had been living in Texas, was charged with aiding ISIS. The man had been granted legal permanent residence in Houston in 2011, though it was later determined that he “swore untruthfully on his formal application when applying to become a naturalized U.S. citizen,” according to the Justice Department.

Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab, also a Palestinian born Iraqi, allegedly “traveled overseas to fight alongside terrorist organizations and lied to U.S. authorities about his activities,” according to the Justice Department.




Al-Jayab entered the U.S. as a refugee in 2012 and later travelled back to Syria, where it is believed that he resumed “fighting with various terrorist organizations,” according to the charges.

Additional information viewed by the Free Beacon outlines another 20 previously unknown individuals brought up on similar terrorism-related charges in 2015 alone.

Those who have been charged were legally residing in the U.S. after entering from countries such as Egypt, Uzbekistan, Albania, Pakistan, and Syria, according to information provided by Congressional sources.

“The terrorism-related arrests of two more Iraqi refugees on American soil proves once again our screening process is weak and needs to be updated,” Sen. Mark Kirk (R., Ill,) said in a statement Friday.

With incidents and indictments of this nature continuing to rise, critics of the Obama administration’s immigration policy are expressing concern about a last-minute funding effort in 2015 to fully fund refugee resettlement and visa programs.

These priorities, which were granted full funding as part of a yearly spending bill approved by Congress last year, will permit around 170,000 new migrants from Muslim-majority countries to enter the United States in 2016, according to the Senate’s immigration subcommittee.

“The omnibus gave the green light for the administration to continue this failed immigration policy over the objections of the electorate,” the senior Congressional source quoted above said.

“Preventing and responding to these acts is an effort encompassing thousands of federal agents and attorneys and billions of dollars. In effect we are voluntarily admitting individuals at risk for terrorism and then, on the back end, trying to stop them from carrying out their violent designs,” Sen. Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) warned last year as Congress considered the spending bill.

In another new low reached by ISIS, the Muslim group has mandated that all newborn baby girls must undergo a clitorectomy, otherwise known as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). 

From the UK Express:

The terror group ordered that if mothers objected to the female genital mutilation (FGM) for their children, they faced being beaten, fined and the operation carried out without consent.

According to the ruling by cruel Daesh, part of the child’s clitoris should be surgically removed immediately after birth. 

He said that mothers of newborn babies had been ordered to bring them to hospitals in order to have the operation.

The lawyer and women’s rights activist Falah Murad Khan said: “Last year when this was first suggested nobody believed that this could really be a fatwa, but now it seems with the latest confirmation that it is indeed the truth.” 

Mr Murad Khan said there was reportedly a special operating room that had been set up in Mosul to carry out the operations on baby girls.
