In the JFK Calc database (stored on Google Drive), there is a sorted list of over 552 witnesses who testified or gave depositions at the Warren Commission, of whom 76 indicated where they thought the shots came from.
Sixty (60) said the Grassy Knoll (including 18 police and secret service). Sixteen (16) said the Texas School Book Depository (including 6 police). Twelve (12) had no opinion. In other words, nearly 4 out of 5 who had an opinion said the Grassy Knoll.

The REELZ documentary The Smoking Gun is laughable on its face and will backfire as a desperate “Hail Mary” attempt to salvage the Warren Commission myth that Oswald was shooting from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository – but that he wasn’t the only shooter. This pathetic documentary claims that a Secret Service agent accidentally shot JFK from behind.

This travesty is a transparently blatant attempt to kill five birds with one stone to 1) maintain the myth of no conspiracy, 2) absolve the Secret Service, 3) maintain the myth that Oswald was shooting simultaneously, 4) show that the discredited Single Bullet Theory was no longer operative or a necessary condition to explain all the shots. But the real goal was 5) to add another “conspiracy theory” into the mix in order to marginalize scientific expert researchers who have developed overwhelming FACTUAL ballistic, acoustic, eyewitness and medical evidence that refutes the Single Bullet Theory. Of course REELZ also failed to mention the mathematical proof of a conspiracy based on the astounding number of “convenient” witness deaths occurring in critical periods of four JFK investigations from 1964-78.

This sleight of hand is so obvious, it is transparent to anyone with the intelligence of a fly. It will not achieve its objective of a “limited hangout” in order to perpetuate the BIG LIE. It just shows the desperation of the Warren Commission apologists and the corporate media’s shameless unceasing 50-year agenda to cover-up the true facts of the assassination.

JFK Witness Deaths: How many Accidents, Suicides and Natural Deaths were Homicides?

In prior JFK witness death analyses, the focus has been on unnatural deaths (homicides, accidents, suicides and unknown causes). This post will examine the likelihood that there were many more homicides than officially reported in the period from 1964-78. The analysis assumes a base case of 1400+ JFK-related witnesses noted in “Who’s Who in the JFK Assassination”. It includes a probability sensitivity analysis over a range of 1,400 to 20,000 witnesses and 34-85 homicides (34 were officially reported).

Warren Commission apologists’ claim that the number of witnesses is unknowable. This is false by definition. Approximately 1100 witnesses were called to testify in four investigations. Sixty-two (62) of the 1100 are among the 118 listed in JFK Calc. But the 56 who were not called are obviously very relevant; just view the connection in the JFK Calc ‘Witnesses’ sheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjAk1JUWDMyRdDFSU3NVd29xWWNyekd2X1ZJYllKTnc#gid=1

Seventy-six (76) deaths were officially unnatural (34 homicides, 14 suicides, 25 accidents, 3 unknown). The other 42 were natural (heart attacks, cancers, other). But it’s conceivable that there were many more than 34 official homicides. Approximately 51 unnatural and suspicious deaths may very well have been homicides: 16 accidents, 12 suicides, 14 heart attacks, 2 natural causes, 7 cancers and other illnesses. Check out column G for the official cause of death (34 homicides), column J for JFK Calc (49 homicides) and column I for the expanded total (85 homicides). HSCA showed 47% thought the shots came from the Texas School Depository Building, 20% from the Knoll and 29% from "other" with 4% saying from 2 different directions. http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/shots.htm It's impossible to even discern who wrote the above. There were only 94 witnesses at the Warren Commission. Or something like this. This is such lying above. It's unbelievable. It's a joke.

Who's lying? Of 121 eyewitnesses, 51 (42%) said shots came from the Grassy Knoll area, 32 from the TSBD, and 38 had no opinion. http://spot.acorn.net/jfkplace/09/fp.back_issues/12th_Issue/51_wits.html
