A couple of Highlights:
On Mondays CC Frank stated that the 2nd has great potential....and He believes the governor of the CBI -Turki will surprise the hell out of us very soon.

He also said In his Opinion- the ISX will not open with 1166 and they are on Holiday the first of July.
Delta said that “ Right now Iraq has the support of the whole world ….so be glad of your investment"

Quattro1: Could FATCA become the media's "SQUIRREL?"
Consider this:
- Let's say the RI/RV hits this July
- Between July and the elections ... America has a "magical surplus" of money
- How does the media explain an influx of cash (into the US Gov't coffers) to the general public?
- I wonder if the media will attribute it to FATCA?
- Do you remember how Mitt Romney was attacked by the media for having an offshore bank account in the Caribbean? (Even though it was perfectly legal to do with "after-tax money").
- Perhaps FATCA may provide the necessary "cover" for the media to explain to the public that due to FATCA -- Billions/Trillions were recovered/generated from "tax penalties" of the rich, famous and illusive.

decided the new Speaker of the House Rep. older Mehdi al-Hafez, on Tuesday, lifting the first meeting of the Council next Tuesday to the eighth month of July present. explained Hafiz, who chaired the meeting , that the meeting will be held if there is an agreement between the political blocs. decision came Hafiz lifting session for a week, after discussions and presentations of the deputies present, and the withdrawal of the masses of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Uniting session.

Chrysanthemum47: Why am I not surprised? -A little voice in the back of my brain always nags at me --I try to ignore it-- but I guess it's a defense mechanism-to keep me balanced, - prepared for all the possible disappointments in life -- to not 'go off the deep end', so to speak.
It can be a downer sometimes. But despite all, in my case, optimism always takes the upper hand! We just hang tight a wee bit longer --- we're used to this drill, right?

Good morning,
Don't believe any thing yet. There will be conflicting stories probably till tomorrow. maybe they won't meet till next week or maybe everything is done.
We have all gone through this many times so I wouldn't worry. Surprises are just around the corner.

I'm going to be the advocate and say it's not the 2nd yet folks! Remember what Frank said last night about the 1166 rate and the penny stock family.
In our western culture we tend to want instant gratification and remember our government works differently than theirs.
This is all new for them, and there will be learning curves. Our congress sits on things for years and waits until the last minute to try and "fix" things. They can't agree to disagree here either.
Then congress goes on break for the summer , or winter and nothing gets done. I understand everyone is frustrated. Remember, this will happen. Keep the faith!

LoveThisFamily: Yes! It is possibly a beautifully
strategic move by the ISX to be "open" today and yet untradeably on
vacation.
This would give them an entire day to adjust to a new rate and join the market. Just my thoughts, IMO. |
