Whoa baby. PapaBear was not happy with WD! I understand and appreciate what WD is saying. But I also appreciate the opportunity to get a higher rate through the 800# group. I would not even knowwh ere to begin to do that for myself. However the one shot deal is concerning, not because I don't understand,, but I don't have the money to get my trust before I CE. Not reserves, but the plan of protecting what my Father is blessing us with. This business of not being able to get funds first elsewhere without nixing the good group rate is wrong. But I can't look that gift horse in the mouth. They have us over a barrel. IMHO!

 piece in the Wall Street Journal dug up yet another damning fact about Jamie Dimon’s J.P. Morgan Chase. This time, reporters got hold of an internal bank survey of its credit-card collections suits. It turns out that Chase’s own survey found that huge numbers of lawsuits filed by the bank contained errors.
From the article:
The bank studied roughly 1,000 lawsuits and found mistakes in 9% of the cases, said people familiar with the review.
“Any rate above zero is high,” said one person familiar with the bank’s conversations with regulators.
Thirteen states, as well as the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, a primary banking regulator, are investigating Chase’s insanely sloppy practices in the area of credit-card collections. I’ve been following this for years thanks to an acquaintance with former Chase VP and whistleblower Linda Almonte, who saw horrific abuses firsthand (I have a chapter on Linda’s crazy experiences coming out in my next book). The piece mentions her case:
The case credited with jump-starting investigations into J.P. Morgan’s pursuit of credit-card debt was a federal-court lawsuit filed in 2010 by a former J.P. Morgan assistant vice president, Linda Almonte, who alleged that employees known as “attorney liaisons” signed “multiple stacks of affidavits” without looking at the underlying documentation. She alleged that 11,472 out of 23,000 cases in one portfolio, or 50%, were “missing adequate documentation.”
I’m glad that the states are finally listening to Linda and that this news is starting to come out. The story is actually far worse than is being described in the papers. It involves allegations of a rather complicated scam tied to secondary sales of credit-card debt – it’s easier to sell credit card debt when a judgment has already been obtained, so it seems companies like Chase will go to great lengths, including mass robosigning and other abuses, to obtain judgments.
Chase is the headline target of these new investigations, but most analysts believe the same exact things go on at other banks and credit companies. Once the bigger state lawsuits gain momentum, we’re likely to find out, as we did in the foreclosure scandals, that faulty paperwork and perjured/robosigned affidavits pervade the entire consumer debt industry. Somehow I don’t think it will result in a $26 billion settlement this time, however.

The Iowa Democrat’s bill came on the 80th anniversary of the original 1933 Glass Steagall Act. Simply put, it is a case of many people deciding that age old rules need not be followed anymore – combined with breathtaking corruption. Both political parties share some blame in some stupid things that happened, although the Democrats seem to be well in the lead as far as corruption and stupidity goes. Let’s trace some history. 1. During the Great Depression of the 1930’s, one reform that came out of the crash of 1929 was the passage of the Glass-Steagall Act, that prohibited banks from both accepting deposits and underwriting securities which led to segregation of investment banks from commercial banks. Glass-Steagall was effectively repealed for many large financial institutions by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act in 1999. This repeal of a time-tested wall of separation was sponsored by Senator Gramm, passed by a Republican Congress and signed by a Democrat President (Clinton). 2. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, agencies now known as Government Sponsored Enterprises, were also creatures of the Great Depression, and were government agencies until the late 1960’s. President Johnson, wanting to get their debts off the budget, had them privatized. Then and now, they have access to funds at below market rates, and hold or guarantee most of the home mortgages in the country. 3. Under pressure and legislation from Congress to make home mortgages more accessible to people who were not qualifying for loans, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac began to accept and insure questionable loans and to pressure banks to provide them. Since executives of both agencies got bonuses tied to the quantity of loans granted, this added to the snowball effect. Banks also began more and more to sell off their mortgages rather than keep them in house, obviously deciding that this was a way to reduce their own risk. This pattern actually started way back in the Carter Administration, but President Clinton put it in high gear. 4. Reform efforts were hijacked by politicians either benefiting personally with favored loans, or by political contributions numbering in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. The major recipients of these benefits were Democratic Senators Chris Dodd and Barack Obama. Senator McCain can show that he received much smaller contributions – and also that he recognized and tried to do something about the storm of problems that the multiplication of these risky loans was about to unfold. In fact, Senator McCain, in 2005, co-sponsored a reform bill that was killed by the ranking Senate Banking Committee member, Senator Dodd. Unfortunately, the Republican Congress allowed this to happen. 5. With this background of a mushrooming inventory of mortgage loans that should never have been issued, a rapidly rising level of home prices attracted millions of people to buy homes on speculation for profit and buy homes they could not afford – getting these loans at favorable interest rates. As usually happens when a speculative bubble takes off, the bubble burst, and home sales and home prices went into a steep and rapid decline. A huge number of these mortgages became unsustainable for the borrowers who stopped paying or walked away from their obligations. ----------------------- The Real Culprits In This Meltdown 9/15/2008 INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY (Excerpt) "Big Government: Barack Obama and Democrats blame the historic financial turmoil on the market. But if it's dysfunctional, Democrats during the Clinton years are a prime reason for it. Obama in a statement yesterday blamed the shocking new round of subprime-related bankruptcies on the free-market system, and specifically the "trickle-down" economics of the Bush administration, which he tried to gig opponent John McCain for wanting to extend. Other Clinton cronies, including Janet Reno aide Jamie Gorelick, padded their pockets to the tune of another $75 million. Raines was accused of overstating earnings and shifting losses so he and other senior executives could earn big bonuses. In the end, Fannie had to pay a record $400 million civil fine for SEC and other violations, while also agreeing as part of a settlement to make changes in its accounting procedures and ways of managing risk. But it was too little, too late. Raines had reportedly steered Fannie Mae business to subprime giant Countrywide Financial, which was saved from bankruptcy by Bank of America. At the same time, the Clinton administration was pushing Fannie and her brother Freddie Mac to buy more mortgages from low-income households. The Clinton-era corruption, combined with unprecedented catering to affordable-housing lobbyists, resulted in today's nationalization of both Fannie and Freddie, a move that is expected to cost taxpayers tens of billions of dollars. And the worst is far from over. It might behoove us to ask what kind of person and professional is Kathleen Sebelius since she will soon have the complete power of life and death over every American citizen. To better examine the fine character of Sebelius, let’s take a look at a healthcare case of a ten year old girl, Sara Murnaghan, who is dying of cystic fibrosis. Sebelius gives America a preview of what lies ahead for many of us. Ten-year-old Sara needs an adult/adolescent lung transplant and this is her only chance of survival. However, Sara is prohibited from being put on the transplant list because the qualifying age to be put on the list is 12 years of age. Several doctors have proclaimed that if she were be put on the list, she would survive. Kathleen Sebelius Kathleen Sebelius Kathleen Sebilius has the authority to issue a waiver and permit Sara to be added to the list. Sebilius has the power of life over death over young Sara’s life and she said “no” in what has become a one person death panel for Sara. Even former US Attorney and current Congressman from Pennsylvania, Patrick Meehan has said that Sebelius has the authority to grant the exemption. Yet, Sebilius has issued other such exemptions. It seems that Sarah is just not the right 10 year old. Of course health care exemptions are made every day for friends and supporters of the President. However, Sara just does not carry enough political weight to sway Sebelius. America, Kathleen Sebelius is the woman who will be making many administrative decisions about the future of your health care. I think most of agree that her handling of this transplant case does not inspire confidence. But wait, it gets worse, far worse. You Are A Marked Person You have an assassin that has the proverbial bullet which displays your name. How many of you have ever heard of the IPAB? I would be willing to bet that 99% of the country will never have heard to the IPAB. It stands for the Independent Payment Advisory Board and they are going to be behind the demise of many Americans in the near future. The IPAB is an unelected panel which will determine who gets treated and what age. Sebelius is serving as the director has been quoted as stating that the majority of IPAB membership cannot consist of medical practitioners.In other words, unqualified, non-medical professionals will be making health care decisions which could determine your fate and the fate of your loved ones. At a time when many Americans have been angered by the abuses at the Internal Revenue Service, the National Security Agency and the Justice Department, the introduction of a powerful and largely unaccountable board into health care merits special scrutiny. It is important to note that the IPAB is accountable to nobody. Smells like Sebelius is attempting to pull a fast one over on the American people. And this is only the tip of the iceberg. Another reprehensible element in the plethora of unaccountable, dictatorial organizations which will ration our health care is the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). This is an unelected independent group of national experts in prevention and evidence-based medicine. The term “treatment denied because it has been declared to be experimental” will soon become a much more popular refrain from health care providers. Under national healthcare, the USPSTF will determine whether your doctor will be able to diagnose you with what diseases and what treatments are allowable and will be made available to your as well as what age patients are still eligible for treatment. Rationing Enrollment in Obamacare for Pre-Existing Conditions Didn’t Obama campaign on not permitting treatment to be denied based upon pre-existing conditions? You bet he did and like so many other things coming out of his mouth, he was lying. A pre-existing condition health insurance program established by Obamacare is already in financial trouble and is seeking to control costs even before the program is unveiled. The Health and Human Services Department, there is Sebelius rearing her ugly head again, has stopped enrolling any new people in the program, according to an audit by the General Accountability Office. In addition, to further control spending, Sebelius has directed the program to shift more of the costs onto the current participants. We are now witnessing just how free is Obamacare as the pre-existing conditions group is having its out of pocket costs increased even before the program commences. Rationing of healthcare is also occurring in 16 states which have set a limit on the number of prescription drugs that they will cover for Medicaid patients. Seven of those states, according to Kaiser Health News, have already enacted these limits in just the last two years in anticipation of the roll out of Obamacare.. Death Panels It turns out that Palin was correct, there really are death panels, who will possess the power of life and death. Those with chronic illnesses and the elderly will be the first set of victims. The IPAB has accurately been identified as a death panel because so many have called for it to have health care rationing powers and because its decisions could result in cost-cutting measures that deny lifesaving medical treatment. The IPAB will decide, for example, whether a 55-year-old cancer patient will get chemotherapy treatment, or will they be given a pain pill and sent home to die. Under Obamacare, younger patients take precedent over older people. Obama czar, Cass Sunstein has said as much. Sunstein is also in favor of various eugenics policies through such unspeakable policies as embracing, as policy, post-birth “abortions” (i.e. murder) of “defective” children up to the age of three. Even the Nazi’s were not as inhumane as Sunstein. The Nazis were publicly forthcoming for their perceived need to ration healthcare when it came to what they called “useless mouths.” Kissinger used the term “useless eaters” to describe those that should be done away with under this draconian form of Fabian Socialism. Under Hitler, 300,000 people were exterminated in German hospitals through lethal injection. Under Obama’s plan, this number will seem miniscule by comparison. In recent remarks to the Accuracy In Media conference, “ObamaNation: A Day of Truth,” Betsy McCaughey stated that the regulations and cuts in Obamacare law would directly cause the deaths of 35,000 hospital patients who otherwise might have survived. Many think that this number might climb ten-fold per year. And we are just beginning to learn about specific age-related exemptions for treatment. You see, there is the version of the law that Obama managed to get through both houses which uses very nebulous language. Then there is the administration of the same law and manifestation of these policies. And please remember that many doctors are leaving the profession because of this thinly veiled flavor of Obama based eugenics. By 2020, the US is projected to have a shortage of 80,000 doctors. By 2025, that number is expected to grow to a national shortage of 130,000 doctors. And with specialists and general practitioners being paid the same under Obamacare, why would any doctor spend the extra money to become trained in various healthcare specialties if they will not make any more money? So, even if Obamacare was not about creating treatment exclusions, finding a doctor and managing the wait time could prove to be an insurmountable challenge. This is only the tip of the iceberg and, yet, the sheep continue to march on to their final resting place. Good News Update: A lower court ruling reversed the decision of HHS Director, Kathleen Sebelius decision to not allow 10 year old Sara her double lung transplant. Unfortunately, this does not mitigate the decision originally made by Sebelius. Most people who would be euthanized by Obamacare will never have a judge in their corner to rule on their behalf. If anyone thinks that this will cause Sebelius to reverse the depopulation elements listed in this article, then one would have to believe in the tooth fairy. America is never going to be able to come together until we start choosing to love one another and forgive one another. Anyone that chooses to regard a certain group of people as “the enemy” because they have a different skin color is part of the problem. When you cut any of us open, we all bleed red blood on the inside. We are all brothers and sisters, and we need to start behaving that way. Unfortunately, many are choosing to go down the path of violence instead, and the list of Trayvon Martin revenge attacks is growing rapidly. The following are some of the more prominent incidents from the last couple of days… *Baltimore, Maryland In a post that drew nearly 50 comments on Facebook, real estate agent Christina Dudley said she was walking to her car just before 9 p.m. when she saw several young black males and two black females chasing a 37-year-old Hispanic man west on North Linwood Avenue past East Fairmont Avenue. “One of the boys had a handgun out and it was pointed at the back of him,” Dudley said in an interview. They caught up to the man at the corner of Fairmount and N. Streeper Street, and the male with the gun beat the victim with what appeared to be his gun while others kicked and stomped him, Dudley said. “They were just yelling and calling him names as they ran after him, but once they were hitting him and after that they started yelling, “This is for Trayvon, [expletive],” said Dudley, who heard the chant repeated multiple times. *Jacksonville, Florida The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is facing accusations that it covered up a hate crime by denying that the murder of two brothers in a parking lot on Sunday night was related to the Trayvon Martin case, despite the fact that a sticker was placed on the brother’s truck which read “Free Zimmerman”. At around 8:45 p.m. at the 7000 block of Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, 24-year-old Andrew Austin Bohannon and 19-year-old Matthew Ryan Bohannon were sitting in their truck in the Golden Corral parking lot when they were approached by another car carrying multiple occupants. After “some type of conversation” between the two parties, multiple shots were fired at the brothers. One was killed instantly while another was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital. “Now rumors have spread that the deadly shooting is in retaliation to a bumper sticker placed on the Bohannon’s truck that said “Free Zimmerman,” reports FirstCoastNews. *Senatobia, Mississippi A man who says he was jogging alongside of a road when three black men abducted and beat him claims the alleged attack was in retaliation for George Zimmerman’s acquittal, police in Senatobia, Miss. told Fox News. Police Chief Steve Holts told Fox News the alleged victim, who is white, was jogging Sunday night along Highway 51 when, he said, the suspects pulled over and ordered him to get inside their car. “One of them asked, ‘Do you know who Trayvon Martin was?’” Holts quoted the man as saying. At that point, the men in the vehicle allegedly attacked him. The man, who the chief described as a young resident of the area, was treated at a local hospital. Memphis television station WREG reported the assailants allegedly told the victim, “This is for Trayvon.” The television station and The Democrat newspaper reported the jogger was badly beaten and later dropped off on a road between Senatobia and Coldwater, Miss. *Oakland, California Christian Hartsock, a conservative journalist and filmmaker, says he was assaulted and beaten down to the ground by a mob with repeated strikes to the face while reporting at a Trayvon Martin rally in downtown Oakland Sunday night. ***** “One young man chanted ‘There’s gonna be some violence tonight!’” Hartsock said. “He then came up to me and demanded I erase the footage from my phone — another request I declined.” “As two other young men interrogated me, their friend behind them came up and a young man then slugged me in the face about three times — hard — and demanded that I leave,” Hartsock said. “Then I began getting clocked by others in my left temple and jaw by other assailants and was mowed to the ground by about half a dozen of them.” Hartsock feared the worst. “For a couple minutes I was pinned down to the ground — one gentleman on top of me slugging me across the face repeatedly as an indeterminable number of others kicked me in the side of the head, and tried to get my phone out of my hand… The harder my grip tightened, the harder their punches to my face became,” he said. *Los Angeles, California People protesting George Zimmerman‘s acquittal marched along Crenshaw Boulevard on Monday night, stomping on cars, chasing bystanders and storming a Wal-Mart. A short while later, Los Angeles Police Department officers wearing helmets and carrying batons swarmed the store as others marched through the parking lot. *Chester County, Pennsylvania In Chester County, Pennsylvania, police are investigating graffiti on a building before it was set on fire: “KILL ZIMMERMAN.” Firefighters were called to the scene of the fire at ProSigns, a company manufacturing commercial signs for business, and found that phrase spray-painted in red on the front of the building. Reporter Dave Bryan was conducting an interview around 10 p.m. when the suspect tackled him and his photographer, the station confirmed. “All of the sudden, this guy came up from behind, he had a hood, and he knocked David on the head and he pushed the camera guy down. The camera guy went down, the camera went down, David went down,” witness Joseph Deguerre, said. “I was in shock.” *Oakland, California A waiter was hit with what appeared to be a hammer while protecting the windows at Flora, a restaurant at the corner of Telegraph and 19th Street. “Protesters with black masks approached the window and tried to bang at it,” said bartender Phillip Ricafort. “(The waiter) said, ‘Don’t do that!’ and the guy turned around and smacked him in the face with a hammer” or another metal object. “It was gruesome,” said Ricafort. He said his co-worker was bleeding from the face. Vandals also targeted Flora’s windows over the weekend; several windows were still boarded up. Local law enforcement has classified the crime as ‘Gang Violence’. One friend of the Marine, an African American male, was present during the attack yet sustained no injuries and was not even confronted by the group. This has “Hate Crime” written all over it. On the morning of the 14th (sunday) my step son, a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps , was out with two other friends off base in 29 Palms CA. One was a Marine the other a Civillian. Steven and the other Marine are both white, and they’re mutual friend is black. The three men observed a large group (15-20) African American males walking down the street making a lot of noise, shouting, causing a scene. Many were carryintg weapons, ie…batons, and at least one tire iron. The mob notices the three men sitting on the porch smoking and talking and proceeded to make they’re way up the drive. At this point Steven, the other Marine and they’re civilian friend told them to leave. The mob attacked the other Marine first. Steven, seeing his friend being assaulted attempted to intervene. Stevens black friend also stepped in demanding they stop. The mob ignored Stevens black friend and attacked Steven instead. They struck him in the head with a tire iron, punched him repeatedly, kicked him repeatedly and then stabbed him in the right side of his chest. Once they had him on the ground and unconscious they continued to beat him. The other Marine was able to get away while Steven was eventually robbed while he lay helpless and unable to defend himself. The police did arrive along with an ambulance to transport Steven to the Desert Palms hospital where he received multiple stitches, and staples to his chest and head. It should be noted that the mob that attacked Steven was composed entirely of black men, 15 to 20 of them. At no time did they attack Stevens black friend. All this took place Sunday the 14th following the George Zimmerman verdict. Here are a couple of side notes. I have talked to the Sheriffs Dept. and have promised on multiple occasions to have a detective call me back. It has not happened. My wife was able to speak to a detective Silva who stated he didn’t see this as a hate crime. Merely gang activity. It was 20 black men trying to murder a white man who had done nothing to warrant the aggression. I gave the authorities information on where my sons stolen credit cards were being used and the only response we have gotten was. ”well, it probably is not the person or persons who committed the assault.” I am more then a little outraged. How is this not a hate crime? Why are they trying to sweep this under the rug? Have we fallen so far that our Service men and women must now fear for they’re own lives on native soil and not be given the treatment and respect deserved? I wont even go into details on the treatment he received from the hospital or how they treated my wife when she called to ask about the condition of her son. Shortly before 2 a.m., Sheriff deputies responded to a fight in the 6000 block of Ocotillo Avenue involving 20 to 30 people. An unidentified Marine was seriously injured when he was hit with a tire iron and then possibly stabbed. He was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. The cabal is also trying desperately to stave off bankruptcy in the face of a growing global boycott of cabal income sources.
