Al Franken makes 'Baby Rape Jokes'

A recently discovered video of Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) shows him appearing to make jokes about child rape in 2000 at a Comedy Central event.

Partial Transcript:

Conservative personality Ann Coulter had noted the event on Twitter a couple months back…

What’s ironic about this is that Franken recently had to cancel upcoming events with Kathy Griffin and Bill Maher after offensive actions were made by both.

Addressing the cancellation of an appearance on Bill Maher’s HBO show, spokesman for Franken said, “What Bill Maher said was inappropriate and offensive, which is why he made the decision not to appear on the next episode of ‘Real Time.’
