the budget in the first place?
Is there anything listed HERE that you cannot
do without?

  1. Amtrak's Northeast Corridor (NEC) would be saved by moving it under the auspicies of the USDOT. But that would increase the USDOT budget by $1 billion. Yes, I said $1 billion.
    Amtrak routinely adds some of the NEC's costs to the long distance trains. That's a documented fact.
