EPA Threatens Man with $16 Million Fine Over Pond
“Threatening me with ruinous fines even though I’ve done nothing wrong is extortionate"
The incident began in 2012 when Fort Bridger resident and rancher Andy Johnson built a small stock pond in order to provide water to his livestock.
Shortly thereafter, Johnson was approached by the EPA and told that his pond violated the federal Clean Water Act, an infraction that carries a maximum fine of $37,000-per-day.
Johnson, who says he obtained all proper permits prior to building the pond, believes the EPA has clearly overstepped its authority.
“We went through all the hoops that the state of Wyoming required, and I’m proud of what we built,” Johnson said. “The EPA ignored all that.”
In a statement to The Blaze, the EPA argued that they have been attempting for “many months” to work “cooperatively with Mr. Johnson to resolve the Clean Water Act issues.”
“EPA has not made any determinations regarding penalties in this matter nor made any penalty demand of Mr. Johnson,” the statement reads. “An order the agency sent to Mr. Johnson in January 2014 cites the maximum penalties for noncompliance established by Congress in the Clean Water Act. References to these penalty provisions are included in all EPA enforcement orders to ensure that respondents are fully aware of the relevant provisions of environmental laws.”
Despite the fact that Congress has exempted stock ponds from the Clean Water Act, the EPA appears to remain undeterred in their targeting of Johnson.
“Threatening me with ruinous fines even though I’ve done nothing wrong is extortionate,” Johnson told Watchdog.org. “This is a battle about more than my land, my livestock and my pond. The EPA is on a mission to expand its power. They want to take over jurisdiction over private property throughout the United States.”

Johnson needs to team up with the Indians where the EPA violated the federal Clean Water Act by spilling toxic pollution into the water they drank from and farmed with, and turning it orange in the process. They need to pay $37,000 per day until it is cleaned up!
Here we go again.
More programming.
Tell me how EPA (that's a corporation isn't it? It can't type can it?)
How does it threaten anyone?
Can someone tell me if EPA is living? Male or Female, or have a family with kids?
Is EPA's mother and father still alive? What school did EPA attend?
What degree does EPA have?
That's why people don't get their justice. They go out there and fight ghosts and believe they are real!
Who is hiding behind that name, what is their name?
Who is the man or woman that wrote that letter and signed it?
What is their authority to tell him what to do with his property?
If they have none, where is his criminal complaint?
When he pops into court. Do you know what that means?
It means there was a contract between him and someone at that agency, and they disagree on the terms. That's what it means.
The court will presume the the people at the agency know the contract better than this man as this man has not said there is no contract, and will rule for the agency as they enforce the contract they are acting they have with him.
And why does this happen?
Because people haven't become aware.
They may not want to become aware.
And the system, punishes them for NOT wanting to become aware, and for doing stupid things like fighting ghosts that can't speak or think or do anything.
He might as well have a complaint against Space Ghost, or Casper the Friendly Ghost, or Roger Rabbit, or Mickey Mouse. None of them are real, and if he got a letter from them, he wouldn't be going to court trying to fight for his rights;
he'd be filing criminal complaints with federal agencies for fraud, extortion, and any number of other things, including civil lawsuits for deprivation of rights under color of authority, and more.
Here we go again!
ANON 8:58. Find this man before he goes into court. HELP HIM! STOP SAYING THAT HE IS DUMB AND UNAWARE AND DO SOMETHING TO HELP HIM!!! MAKE HIM AWARE AND FIND OTHERS TO EXPLAIN HOW TO MAKE THE EPA PROBLEM GO AWAY. IF THIS MAN LOSES THEN WE ALL LOSE. IF HE WINS THEN IT WILL GO VIRAL AND THAT HELPS OTHERS.
Is this happening in the land of the free and home of the brave?
There was a 'contract'? Might you be able to produce or to explain the 'contract'? A contract, to be valid, must have the blue ink signature of at least one duly appointed authorized representative to commit the EPA to the EPA corporation side of that contract. Same is true for Johnson's side of this 'contract.' So where is that 'contract' that supposedly Johnson signed? I doubt seriously that Johnson would have signed any contract with the EPA, much less one that would severely infringe on his sovereign rights and limit his ability to earn a living on his own land. You must be suggesting that this is an 'implied contract.' Sounds like more of the criminal corporation efforts to remove our rights to our lands, such as Bundy is experiencing as well as others across the nation. The Agenda 21 goal is to remove us from our lands and severely limit our ability to produce food - in the end to remove/exterminate us - period. Perhaps some thought should go to how to successfully fight and win against the EPA on both agendas. The corporation cannot sue Johnson, and the court system this corporation is operating in is an illegal one and cannot adjudicate against Johnson on land. As for Johnson, I pray there are those who are knowledegable about these aspects of law and are available to work with him to protect and to save his land and his business as there were for Bundy. In the end, every win on our side lays a firmer deeper foundation in exposing the fraud of the court system in place in this nation as well as the fact that we CAN WIN against these traitors and fraudsters. If we do all we can to stand together and fight to win when a brother (or sister) is up against this tyranny, these 'little' wins add up to allot of winning experience. If people can't do anything but PRAY for Johnson and those helping him, and those going through similar attacks like him, ALLOT can be accomplished. PRAY
Another America hater. If people hate America then go live somewhere else, or if you are just poking your big nose in our business just to be a smart ass stay the hell out of our business!
I could be wrong but isn't the governor of Wyoming the boss in Wyoming ? All he has to do is tell the EPA to get lost. They have no authority in Wyoming.
Same goes for the Russians burning out the preppers in Washington state, Idaho, Montana, etc. The Governors - unless they are communists working with bozo in the current takedown of America - the Governors have the final authority over their respective states - remember 'states rights'? - and should tell the Russians and other troubble makers in no uncertain terms to get the hell out - or else. The criminal make believe 'government' in the district of criminals has NO authority over the states. It is NOT our 'government' and their rogue regime is our main enemy and needs to be severely dealt with ASAP. Where are the state militias, national guards, etc? They - the governors, state legislatures, sheriffs, police, state guards and militias should all be working together to defend their states. Are these people really that dumb - or cowards - or just traitors sold out to the enemy within???
