Feeding The Homeless Banned In Major Cities All Over America

Activist Post
What would you do if you came across someone on the street that had not had anything to eat for several days? Would you give that person some food? Well, the next time you get that impulse you might want to check if it is still legal to feed the homeless where you live. Sadly, feeding the homeless has been banned in major cities all over America.
Other cities that have not banned it outright have put so many requirements on those that want to feed the homeless (acquiring expensive permits, taking food preparation courses, etc.) that feeding the homeless has become "out of reach" for most average people. Some cities are doing these things because they are concerned about the "health risks" of the food being distributed by ordinary "do-gooders". Other cities are passing these laws because they do not want homeless people congregating in city centers where they know that they will be fed. But at a time when poverty and government dependence are soaring to unprecedented levels, is it really a good idea to ban people from helping those that are hurting?
This is just another example that shows that our country is being taken over by control freaks. There seems to be this idea out there that it is the job of the government to take care of everyone and that nobody else should even try.
But do we really want to have a nation where you have to get the permission of the government before you do good to your fellow man?

NO, be led by the spirit of God....It's better to obey God than man. Do unto others the way you would want them to do unto you.

Disobedience is required.
Thank you.
Bless you.

I absolutely agree the above sentiments of these three comments above this one. It is beyond disgusting that they (the one's that are never effected)could in their hearts put into effect such an inhumane so called law, the statute or act of men. One days these animals will receive their KARMA in spades, soon I hope.

I read the whole article....I have been homeless before and fact is you can't kick people off the planet!! I think these bureaucrats that make and pass these laws should be given a taste of their own medicine....round them up, and don't feed them, don't give them any water...make them repent of their evil ways....What do they (the bureaucrats) mean it might not be nutritious enough? All the food that these food conglomerates are putting in the supermarkets are polluted with gmo, aspartame, msg, dyes, preservatives, irradiated, rgbh growth hormones, and they are saying it might not be nutritious enough? They don't seem to care what you have to buy at the store that isn't nutritious..... A possible nice solution could be to find a piece of land and grow gardens there, and allow the homeless people to conribute to the growing and gardening, weeding, etc. effort, and then they can proudly receive some food to eat that will be healthy and home grown. Remember the great first lady Michelle Obama is all for people growing gardens.... Jesus said if you give unto one of these little ones so much as a drink of water, you've done it unto me... Jesus wants people to help others. I think we should laugh in the face of these "Nutters" and ignore their stupidity and take America in the direction that we want it to be!!! God Bless Everyone!!

I was shopping in my local market one early morning and the staff was throwing perfectly good broccoli stems and "old" broccoli into a trash barrel. I asked him why they didn't give it away to a homeless shelter and he said they couldn't "for insurance reasons". I guess they did not want to be responsible if they got sued for bad food. What a crime and what a waste of perfectly good food. This country has taken for granted all of their blessings. Lord have mercy!!!!
