EXOGEN September 18, 2014 at 9:10am DEFINITION of 'Margin Call'
A broker's demand on an investor using margin to deposit additional money or securities so that the margin account is brought up to the minimum maintenance margin. Margin calls occur when your account value depresses to a value calculated by the broker's particular formula.
This is sometimes called a "fed call" or "maintenance call."

The International Swaps & Derivatives Association said it postponed the biggest overhaul to the $18 trillion credit derivatives market in more than a decade to give investors more time to prepare for the changes.
New rules governing credit-default swaps will take effect Oct. 6 rather than Sept. 22, ISDA said in a statement yesterday. The changes seek to fix flaws in sovereign and bank insurance that prevented some contracts from paying out as intended during the financial crisis.
As part of the overhaul, the list of events triggering swaps is being expanded to include bail-ins, where investors are forced by regulators or governments to contribute to bank rescues. The new definitions also explicitly insure against debt writedowns, bond exchanges or conversions of debt into equity.

SD Cool September 18, 2014 at 9:50am So here's my 2 cents worth. This is the best news that EXO has posted in a while. Why? Because the shape shifting elephant in the room has been exposed. IMO This derivatives market has the potential to crush the world economy. The FED RES and City of London are complicit in derivatives. Now that this market is responding to the GCR we know things are serious and moving in the right direction. The derivative position in the US has great influence on the value of our post RV dollar too.

Devinehealth: congradulations scotland voting on their independence today..i wonder how the iraqi people will react when their own government continues to withhold theirs.

Iraqi parliamentary sources expected that the American President Obama to visit Iraq during the next few days.
The sources said the parliamentary refused to disclose Gunn itself Agency / Source News / The American President will visit Baghdad in the framework of a Middle East tour possible to ask for support from countries in the region in the war waged by Washington and its allies against the organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, known as Daash.
She added that the UN Security Council will meet tonight, headed by John Kerry to issue an international resolution gives the United States and its allies the right to use force against Daash in Iraq and Syria.

Suri, I've been in it for 4 years. I'm positive it will happen someday. ' Intel ' is routinely all over the board, from any minute to 2016. I find it difficult to be ' happy - happy ' with expected dates disappearing like toilet paper. People will feel the way they feel, despite well intended pep talks. The longer this goes, the more bitching will happen, no matter what anyone says. People should vent if they must, some have sickened and some have died waiting, I know 2 dead ones personally. Let them vent, it's only text on a screen. What real harm will it do ? TYJM frj
