It's indeed unfortunate, but not really at all surprising that some of the bundys are undergoing this level of treatment.
We must not forget that who we become is reflected in our actions.
Bundy Jr used to make fun of people who talked sovereign stuff - like they were insane. I'm sure he's not laughing now.
The biggest problem for the Bundys that is on the immediate horizon is possible torture and solitary confinement. Their actions around oregon basically led to the firing/jail time of a few judges, and so the community is up in arms at them.
It may be all due to the mis-placement of the law but people gotta remember, normal folks don't know this stuff. They see a bunch of yahoos who disrupted the peace in their town, and that's just half of the problem.
The roots of the problem comes from them acting like they are living men while failing to rebut presumptions. You can't just waltz into some other town if you still own a SSN card, and claim to the judges or all the bigshots that you're a real man instead of a person. They'll toss your butt in jail!
It's up to everyone now to see the forest for the trees..if you are not a "person" of oregon you got to prove it then. It isn't so much the fault of the demons and nasties for roughing up the locals at the city jail, since that's what the law asks them to do in that there constitution. "Persons" have privileges after all, not real rights. So the onus is more on the people who need to wake up and quit acting like they are persons...and officially seize back their man/woman status!
Not when you see a gold fringed flag in a court room, you aren't innocent until proven guilty. Under Admiralty law you are considered guilty until you prove yourself innocent.
