Overblown warnings of Olympics travel chaos are turning key sites into ‘ghost towns’ and threatening Britain’s economic recovery, say business leaders.
Messages to stay away from London and other key venues have worked too well, with visitor numbers suffering catastrophic falls.
Incredibly, almost a third of the five million people employed in the capital are expected to heed official advice to work from home at some point over the fortnight to avoid disruption which has failed to materialise.

Looks like the Law of Unintended Consequences has taught a huge lesson to a country that needs to have money flowing in for the money they spent to set up for the games.

Universal payback is a mother and a half.
Just think, all those local workers who thought their commute to work was going to be horrendous and traffic a beast, and they aren't spending a dime for gas or transit and they aren't eating out at lunch time.
If I were a tourist for the games and I saw those streets lacking people, I'd think something was up and that they had inside knowledge of something imminent, and then I'd just forget the games, buy some Olympic souvenirs, check out of my hotel, get out of town see the rest of the country, and return home when it's time to fly back.
No one is going to ask me how were the games because if they were interested they saw it on t.v. or online.

Did you see their Queen? She didn't even crack a smile at the opening ceremony. Oh my, what a snarly face she had while the kids sang in her presence.
Then to read in the daily mail that Charles has dropped Andrew and his blood princess daughters into the background of 'the firm', such that they can't do any official royal duties like be present at the opening of a school or hospital; it's obvious that family only makes money by the things they do. The article made it clear it was a 'firm'. And people perceive their importance because of a royal, and a title they either gave their selves or it was given to them by another.
Some of their jewels are either gifts of the best things countries had to offer, and who knows if the rest of the jewels were from conquering nations, provinces,
and territories.
The athletes just want to compete.
It should have never gotten this commercialized in the first place, in my opinion.
They keep saying that the reason is a travel nightmare. If the tourist number 300 thousand in the past and that is a travel nightmare then what other reason could there be for such low numbers? How about the NWO and their ritualistic opening shows. You see for a ritual to be effective it has to have the energy of the people. With all the military they have stationed there now who wants to go. People dont want to be reminded that they are held captive by this queen and her minions. With the pop companies using stem cells for flavor , no one wants to be apart of that. They are telling us to our face what they plan to do with their little shows of horror. Their NWO is colapsing and that makes me jump for joy. We get to see them fail and finally get whats coming to them. Their Olympics puts me in mind of the nazi Olympics that Hitler held . What an opressive bunch of people that ended up ruling our world. They made the word Zion a nasty word just like they made nazi a name to be feared. What a laughing stock. maybe thats why the queen had such a nasty scowl on her face , or was that natural given her nasty nature.

Haah! I agree. I bet the reason London is a ghost town is because more people are awake than we thought and are leaving London just in-case some kind of false flag attack happens.
I was even surprised the other day when getting my hair cut the barber randomly said "Do you think the illuminati are going to pull something off at the London Olympics?", "I wouldn't be surprised" I said, looking surprised that he actually asked me that question. He also told me he had called his family that was in London and told them to get out during the Olympics. LOL
