Admiral James Lyons – We Need Full Disclosure On Benghazi NOW

Admiral James Lyons – We Need Full Disclosure On Benghazi NOW
by Ulsterman on October 30, 2012
Former commander of the Pacific Fleet Admiral James Lyons was among the most highly regarded and influential members of the American military in a generation. He is now using that reputation to now aggressively push for open and honest disclosure from the Obama White House regarding the Benghazi Massacre scandal.

James Aloysius "Ace" Lyons, Jr. (born September 28, 1927) is a retired admiral in the United States Navy whose 36-year career was capped by serving as Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet from 16 September 1985 to 30 September 1987.

LYONS: Obama needs to come clean on what happened in Benghazi
Admiral James Lyons is demanding answers from the Obama administration over the Benghazi Massacre and cover up

“The American people deserve to know the truth”

There is an urgent need for full disclosure of what has become the “Benghazi Betrayal and Cover-up.” The Obama national security team, including CIA, DNI and the Pentagon, apparently watched and listened to the assault on the U.S. consulate and cries for help but did nothing. If someone had described a fictional situation with a similar scenario and described our leadership ignoring the pleas for help, I would have said it was not realistic—not in my America – but I would have been proven wrong.
…Once the attack commenced at 10:00 p.m. Libyan time (4:00 p.m. EST), we know the mission security staff immediately contacted Washington and our embassy in Tripoli.  It now appears the White House, Pentagon, State Department, CIA, NDI, JCS and various other military commands monitored the entire battle in real time via frantic phone calls from our compound and video from an overhead drone. The cries for help and support went unanswered.

…we had very credible military resources within striking distance. At our military base in Sigonella, Sicily, which is slightly over 400 miles from Benghazi, we had a fully equipped Special Forces unit with both transport and jet strike aircraft prepositioned.
I know those Special Forces personnel were ready to leap at the opportunity. There is no doubt in my mind they would have wiped out the terrorists attackers. Also I have no doubt that Admiral William McRaven, Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, would have had his local commander at Sigonella ready to launch; however, apparently he was countermanded—by whom? We need to know.
Somebody high up in the administration made the decision that no assistance (outside our Tripoli embassy) would be provided, and let our people be killed. The person who made that callous decision needs to be brought to light and held accountable. According to a CIA spokesperson, “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need.”
We also need to know whether the director of CIA and the director of National Intelligence were facilitators in the fabricated video lie and the overall cover-up. Their credibility is on the line.
A congressional committee should be immediately formed to get the facts out to the American people. Nothing less is acceptable.

I'm inclined to believe this is a smoke screen distraction by the same bad actors because when we don't hear about 'Benghazi, Islamists and Mossad' all in the same sentence....we aren't hearing the real story about Benghazi.

All three of those elements did the crime, the cover up and execution!

If Obama himself grabbed a gun from the Secret Service and shot Mitt Romney at the debate as Obama thought he was a true enemy combatant Obama would declare he has the Authority since he is President!

Maybe Admiral James Lyons should ask Obama about if the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor happened today what would Obama do!

Would Obama be watching the video LIVE and say he needs more info before he takes action, even though the US Military knows where every one of there ships are, but Hawaii is to still to STAND DOWN?

Would Obama declare that ALL persons involved in taking actions against the Japanese would be charged with a court-martial?

Would Obama declare that any commanding General or Admiral loose their command if they take actions to defend the United States people?

Maybe 10,000 people would die and not just a few thousand!

If Obama grabbed a gun and shot Mitt Romney at the debate it would be murder. NO one is an enemy combatant unless they have a weapon and are an immediate threat. Without the details, no one can answer your question. In truth.

Obama was not president during the Pearl Harbor attack. The technology was different and there are details about who funded it, and who would benefit from entering the war. I'm sure you haven't realized there are details indicating that Americans did not want to enter the war and that President at that time needed us to 'want to go to war', so it was allowed to happen so we would enter the war...but maybe again you don't know all the details that happen behind the scenes. Again not a question that can be answered.

If Obama was going to take the heat for an attack across the ocean, better to take the heat for a loss of a few knowing some top secret intelligence that can't be revealed than to take the heat for a loss of many by trying to show his 'absolute power' to send in something to blow it off the map. People in the military are soul-die-er (soldiers). They take orders without question, they take oaths to die for their country, and they know some times to save the lives of others, their life will be sacrificed. Something about that place was a trap. If people are alive today because of stand down orders, then so be it, and someone had to be an unloving One or soulless to take lives of people who had a right to life, to have a tomorrow. Right to lifer's should be in uproar. The go through all that trouble to say and embryo is a life and deserves to be born, and then remain silent when that life is taken by bullet, but are noisy when it's taken by scapel.

O should relieve any general that does not obey the order of higher authority. The military is based on obeying the orders of a superior officer. Ask anyone dishonorably discharged about not obeying orders...or the boot camp guys who don't believe the bullets are real and stand up and get shot to death. If they give an order, there is a reason. No ifs, ands, or buts. The military is not civilian. They can give their testimony to us all day long, but the fact remains they are under contract and oath to obey. Period. If some die while they stand down...there is a reason. Imagine World Trade center and people are still in the building and they are told NOT to go in to save them. If they know something and stop more lives from being taken; trust they are doing what they are supposed to do when they give stand down orders.

Emotions are not at play here. This is real. All these gun toters that want to rush in without thinking will find they make great door stops.
