Did Obama Watch Benghazi Attack?

A CIA spokesman placed the blame squarely on the White House when they released a statement saying "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate." So the decision not to come to the aid of Ambassador Stevens and those defending him had to have come from the White House. Now sources are saying that President Obama was watching the situation unfold. So why did he do nothing? OCTOBER 25, 2012 Lt. Col. Tony Schafer told Fox News that sources were telling him that the President was watching the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya in real-time. Schafer told Fox that "only the President" could have ordered backup for the Americans who were under siege by terrorists so the President was most certainly informed of the situation as it was unfolding. "I hate to say this," Schafer said, "according to my sources, yes, [the President] was one of those in the White House situation room in real-time watching this. And the question becomes, 'What did the President do or not do in the moments he saw this unveiling?' He -- only he -- could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something." It's clear that this is a scandal that has the potential to sink Obama and his re-election chances. The media knows this, and they're trying to bury this story as we come down to the final days of Obama's campaign to stay in office another 4 years. Charles Woods, says that the life of his son Ty could have been saved, but their repeated requests for backup were denied. Ty Woods and fellow former SEAL Glen Doherty responded to the terror attack at the Libya consulate a mile away from where they were stationed. They were tragically killed in action defending the lives of our diplomats including murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens. Daniel Halper October 25, 2012 Woods says he was told by military officials that the military could have "come above [the area] and completely carpeted area," and therefore saved the officials in Benghazi, Libya. But that someone gave the command for the American military not to save the lives of the Americans under attack. "When I heard, you know, that there's a very good chance that the White House as well as other members of the military knew what was going on and obviously someone had to say, don't go rescue them. Because every person in the military--their first response [would be], we're going to go rescue them. We need to find out who it was that gave that command--do not rescue them." First the administration refused to acknowledge that the attack in Benghazi was a terrorist attack, still pointing to the childish youtube video they blamed for two weeks. Now we learn this, from the father of one of the Americans who lost their lives. Benghazi-gate has been called "bigger than Watergate" by some political analysts.
