So, Jesse Jackson, Jr. 17 year veteran of the US Congress, suddenly gets a "mood disorder" (about the same time he learned he was to be indicted) and is going to prison for 2.5 years.  Because his "mood disorder" was so severe, he has become disabled and will receive $8700 per month as a disability payment as well as $45000 a year from his congressional pension, a total of about $150K per year.

Is this a great country or what?

I agree with the sentiment of this post however, this is 100% legal and correct in the Corporate United States. As a matter of fact, those who serve in the Congress are no longer Citizens of the United States and therefore are not "subject" to the Laws and jurisdiction thereof. This is why they give this silly cover story of a mood disorder and then laugh at us because they think we don't have a clue. Also the members of Congress are the "We the People" in the Constitution (i.e. corporate charter) and the rest of us are Citizens of the State therefore WARD's of the State and the State can do whatever it wants with us Citizens. Congress does not operate under the same restrictions which is why they can do whatever they want and nearly 100% get away with it - unless you cross the insiders like Senator Trafficant did and he went to jail. Actually he went to jail for upholding the law and doing the right thing.

If you want more clarification on this and the other affects of the 14th amendment and others check out the Youtube vids by Kurt Kallenback.
