ALERT!!! CALLING ALL TEXANS TO WORK TODAY!!!!!

Convention of States Action

This week marks the 800th birthday of one of the most famous political documents in the history of the world—the Magna Carta, which laid the foundation for the rights and freedoms that Americans enjoy today.

Eight centuries of liberty later, its revolutionary impact can still be felt.

During the 84th Session thousands of Texans worked with legislators to get HJR 77 passed in the House—something we were told couldn’t be done.

In the Senate, we had the votes, but a few Senators played games and cut backroom deals to prevent HJR 77 from getting to the floor for a vote.

Senators Estes, Fraser and Nelson evaded their constituents and shirked their obligation to show up to vote on our bill. They chose cowardice over bravery, and the rest is history.

We have heard the possibility of Gov. Abbott calling a special session. You asked us to find a way to communicate the urgency and importance of calling a convention of the states to the Governor directly and here is your chance. Sign our new petition!

It’s time to tell Governor Abbott that we expect Texas to stand up in this fight for liberty.

We want to make sure that he includes the COS Article V resolution if he calls a special session.

Click this link or the green box below to sign the petition.

Then email it to 10 of your friends, explaining how a Convention of the States can ensure Texas stays strong and free.

Your signature and a donation will help us reach more Texans and increase the size of our Texas citizen-led activist army.

Thank you!

The only way to celebrate America’s founding principles—and those principles that motivated the drafting and signing of the Magna Carta—is to continue to demand that our state leaders adhere to the will of their constituents.

The Texas grassroots are rising.
