Bullshit! There hasn't been an american soldier fighting for our freedom since the southern soldiers in the civil war.Lowe's has denied me my right to life liberty and pursuit of happiness by denying me the right to work because I don't have a ss#.This is a felony on their part' ss# is voluntary not mandatory.This gemmick is to increase sales put together by some bean counter that doesn't care about any of the above.

Mr. Anonymous 2:22 PM : In case yiou didn't know it or may have been asleep, everyone in this Country has to show a S.S. card regardless of where you are going to work This is not a Lowes rule dumby ! It is a federal rule !

re:8:47 Yes it is a rule dumby.It's not a law. However there is a law against demanding a ss#.With very clearly written penalties. There is also case history that proves me right. Marbury vs. Madison 5 US(2 cranch 173, 174, 176,1830 And many more.The ss act it self declares it as voluntary.The ss cards till the sixties had it printed on the bottom of the card.
