Bid Request Reveals Large Purchase of AK Rifle Magazines Not Used By U.S.
Forces
Is
the corporation of the U.S. Army being used to mask the weaponization of
foreign militants such as Syrian rebels or Al-Qaeda?

JERSEY — It was recently uncovered by Intellihub.com
staff that the corporation of the U.S. Army, could be used to mask a massive
militarized weaponization of the “enemy” in an effort to generate more wartime
revenue for the privately owned military industrial complex.
What is
most startling about the bid request is not only the sheer amount of AK style
rifle magazines but the fact that the standard U.S. Army issue rifle is not of
the AK family. The bis request called for “592,825 (approx) AK Rifle Magazines:
7.62x39mm Caliber, New Production, Steel, 30 Round Capacity”.
In fact,
a write-up on MilitaryAnswers.com
reads, “and fires the same round. It is essentially a shortened version with a
14.5 inch barrel that is preferable if you are in close-quarters combat. The
basic M4 is a standard issue rifle for the Army. M4s have a trigger group that
allows semiautomatic and three-round burst fire modes. By 2014, the Army hopes
to replace all off its M4 carbines with the more advanced M4A1 variant.”

proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued.
The U.
S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, in support of
the U.S. Army Research Development Engineering Command Armament Research
Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM-ARDEC) and Several Program Offices,
intends to issue a solicitation to all Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders
to procure the following:
1. 592,825
(approx) AK Rifle Magazines: 7.62x39mm Caliber, New Production, Steel, 30 Round
Capacity
Please
note that only contractors that have received previously established Basic
Ordering Agreements (BOAs) under W15QKN-12-X-C003 will be issued a
solicitation. If you believe you are capable of supplying the abovementioned
Non-Standard Weapons (NSW), please respond to the Government’s open and
continuous sources sought notice, W15QKN-12-X-C003 and follow the detailed
instructions. Responses to the sources sought notice will be assessed to
determine the contractor’s capabilities, and if determined capable, the
contractor will be awarded a BOA.
The proposed contract
action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit under the
authority of FAR 16.703. The Government expects to award a Firm Fixed Price
contract to the offeror that provides the best value to the Government. This
notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. In addition, the

While some proponents of war might argue that the
U.S. Army is rather just tying up magazines that could have readily been sold
or dispersed to the enemy limiting the enemies supply capabilities, essentially
heading the enemy off at the pass.
