Friends and Bikers Step Up to Give Bullied Girl a Prom After She Missed Hers
“It was horrendous. It’d been going on for such a long time. I tried
so hard to put a stop to it but the school didn’t help us. I just felt
lost really. There was nothing I could do but let her talk to me,”
Shannon’s mother, Claire Carsten told the Inside Edition.
Because of the constant verbal harassment, the bullied girl decided to skip prom night and stay at home instead, missing one of the biggest milestones in a young girl’s life.
“I just didn’t really want to feel uncomfortable for the whole night,” Shannon said of her decision.
Claire was upset that Shannon was missing an important occasion because of bullies that she posted a photo of Shannon’s should-have-been prom dress on Facebook with the caption: “If Shannon had gone to prom tonight she would of worn this beautiful dress. Thanks to nasty vile bullies Shannon decided she didn’t want to go and mix with scum that made her so miserable. For a girl that has had so much to deal with in life…. coeliac disease, ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis, she is one strong young lady with an even stronger mind!! Love you girl.”
Claire’s post caught the attention of the community so they organized a party, especially for Shannon so she can have a prom where she can feel special and have fun.
Friends and strangers provided assistance with the preparation and a group of over a hundred kind bikers from Gosport Scooter Club became Shannon’s chauffeur service.
“[The bikers] came into the street. Everyone was coming out of their houses watching, wondering what was going on,” Claire shared.
As to the lovely party where everyone had a good time, Shannon’s mom said: “It was just so nice to see so many wonderful people, people we’ve never met before. People wanted to make her happy.”

Ulcerative colitis is caused by an imbalance in intestinal flora, usually brought on by antibiotics. Replace the antibiotics with a probiotic supplement and/or diet. The RA and coeliac disease may clear up as well.

Anon 5:26 - Agreed. Don't you have to wonder about what kind and quality of medical care this poor girl has been receiving? There is no need for her to be going through all of this - none. Most health issues can be solved thru natural means but of course the 'government' doesn't like natural means. It cannot be patented and tons of money made from it to be filtered into the waiting pockets of the ignorant 'doctors' and the CON-gress, so they come up with chemicals in the form of pills and IV's that actually are meant to KILL YOU, some costing well over $1,000 or more EACH, and on top of that, they arrange for the MURDERS of those in the natural healthcare field who are HEALING PEOPLE with NATURAL REMEDIES. When will America have ENOUGH of that? Consider the fraudulent 'obamacare' - had little to NOTHING to do with healthcare for the people. Most of those 1,000 pages had to do with the take down of the united States and MORE money 'awarded' to bozo. No wonder that bill was unlawfully rammed through the CON-gress by traitor idiot Pelosi. Did the CON-gress stand up to this bi*ch? NO! Did they DEMAND time to review the bill and report back - perhaps in committees assigned a few hundred pages to study - and provide information on what they were being FORCED to 'pass'? NO! Did these traitors give a da*n about what was in the bill and question WHY it was being rammed through without study? NO! AND did the people want bozocare? NO! Did the medical community want it? NO! What do the people need to figure out what is going on and being done to them and DO SOMETHING about it rather than take this crap year after year? Americans cannot even AFFORD the bozocare TAX. When they had healthcare coverage and had been paying - if paying at all - perhaps $150 to $600 month to be covered, bozocare ran the TAX up to THOUSANDS annually - some as much as $6,000! - on each American FOOLISH enough to enroll. And that brings up yet another issue with it. AMERICA WAS REFUSING TO SIGN UP FOR IT! Only the ignorant and afraid signed up. Daily there were pleas and threats by the phony 'government' - YOU NEED TO SIGN UP OR ELSE! - and even those threats did not move America to sign up for it. Then recently the 'new' healthcare bill is presented to the CON-gress with provisions to HELP Americans, and guess who voted it down? TRAITOR JOHN MCCAIN. The vote tabulator in Arizona must be STUCK on MCAIN. He continues to 'WIN' when he is one of the most notable TRAITORS in the CON-gress. SURELY Arizonians are NOT THAT STUPID? WHY haven't they demanded a full investigation in to the outcomes of their state elections, especially in to the repeated 'wins' of MCCAIN? Maybe ALL the seniors living in Arizona have dementia?
My idea for health care reform: repeal all health care laws ever passed. That's it. Some will experience short-term disruption but in the longer term, people will see that they're better off without government-sanctioned corporate "health care." Can't pay for health care? Don't use it then.
